I loved camping here, I was nervous as it was my dog’s first trip but he was great. Very private but open concept
We only stayed for one night on our way to our next destination. Nice and easy, flat site to just pull up and stay. We weren’t prepared for the freight trains in the night and wished we’d had some ear plugs- though it made for some interesting research on the trains that are 3km long!! We don’t have that in England.

Loved camping here, saw plenty of cool birds and eagles. Nice and private
The camp site was flat and nicely shaded for most of the day. It was very quiet and relaxing: just what we needed. Yes, there is a train track on the other side of the slough. But we live in a town with trains running on both sides of the town, so we barely noticed.
However...
When we arrived we were greeted with the garbage from the last campers, including toilet paper, all over the site. We cleaned it up ourselves so we could get on with our weekend away. Also, the two porta pottys were full to the brim and sorely needed to be pumped out. Disappointing but we enjoyed our weekend stay regardless.

Lovely open space for a quick break with our kids and dog in our van. Hosts were responsive and checked in to see how we were doing. Hope to get back later on the season to enjoy the views with some friends

Beautiful location. Nice and secluded. Lots of blackberries to pick there at the dyke. The spot is very spacious and the out houses clean. I’ve already recommended the spot to others!

The site and location are fine. But the facilities are too limited. There should be power and water at least.
The water could be supplied from a water tank.
If the site is upgraded, I will return and also recommend to my friends.
This is such an amazing spot. We loved the mountain view and the various bird politics.
If you are bothered by noise it is definitely close to the train and some flight paths but we were traveling with a little autistic dude who really loves transport so this was fabulous. The train is situated across the slough so it offers a view without the risk (as long as we stay out of the water).
We enjoyed it!

We loved the privacy, and the setting was gorgeous. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay!
It was a nice and private place for camping, with plenty of space to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The area felt peaceful and secluded, and having a toilet available was helpful. Overall, it’s a simple campsite, but a pleasant option if you’re looking for privacy and a quiet outdoor experience.

The Porta potties were on the cleaner side which was nice, the picnic tables needed a major wipe down as they were covered in bird poo, but we just wiped them and put table cloths on them and that worked fine. It was nice having a more private site, for some reason there was a mistake on the app and we ended up sharing the site for one of the nights but the people were super nice so we didn't mind. The clover covering the whole site was beautiful and my puppies loved that.
There were trains that passed by during the day and through the night but they weren't very loud and they never woke any of us up. The only reason I know they were going at night is cause I was feeding a baby haha.
Over all a super good stay :)

Brian's campsite is an absolutely beautiful and amazing place—you should definitely visit! Brian and his family are incredibly warm and welcoming. If you go, make sure to bring a boat with you to enjoy some great boating on the water

Nice private spot. Train does run but if you go in knowing that is good hide out from the city.
Our experience was amazing the hosts were great and accommodating. We are definitely going back for more , me and my crew had the best time ever I cant wait to go back !
We had a fabulous weekend at Eagle Eye! Brian and TerriAnn were great hosts! Beautiful location to enjoy quality time together! Camping without annoying neighbors in a lovely location! They let us access the water the water via their dock and we enjoyed paddleboarding and floating! Perfect for car-bound camping!

I loved camping on Brian's land, the surrounding area is really nice and they're are nice hikes around the area. Brian was a great host and we were able to purchase firewood from him for a reasonable price.
What a great place to come and have so much privacy! We were with a large group and had the entire site to ourselves . Beautiful views of the water and mountains. Loved it!
Beautiful campsite, host was very responsive to my questions. They provided picnic tables & fire rings. We were there for the Easter weekend & they placed daffodils on the picnic table as a welcome….very nice touch! They came by once to check in & see if we needed anything, super friendly people. We had the entire space to ourselves & had lots of room to set up our 5 trailers with plenty room to spare. We had access to the beach/dock area so we could use our kayaks in the slough. Only downfall was the trains at night were a bit loud. But overall the site was fantastic!

Great large space. We got lucky that we got the whole area to ourselves and our dog got to run around.
Brian was helpful when communicating with us.
They have water by their house so we were able to walk over and grab water twice a day.
I bought a portable toilet which was a must since they is no outhouse.
Downside: you hear the trains a few times a day and night. Didn’t bother us tho. I have ear plugs when I sleep so that was helpful.
The water/slough by the site didnt look clean enough for us to swim in and so we had to drive out to go in the water.
Overall, we loved the privacy of the place. We got to play music and watch movies into the night without issues. And the owners were great!

Nice site in the farmland. Sites are visible to eachother but far apart and location is remote.
There were trains but not at an annoying interval. Not a big deal at all.
No water, no washrooms (only ONE portable toalet). Camp is 100 meters from train rail (noises, 2 - 4 cargo train per hour). In my opinion the price does not correspond to the service.

Quiet, private, beautiful. I didn’t realize that the train runs very nearby, but they never blow their whistle, just rumble by. Great communication and easy to find. We were just passing through but would come back!

Overall we had a good experience. The site is a large gravel space that is nice and flat, it has great big trees surrounding the lot that provides perfect shade from the sun throughout the day. The hosts were communicative and close by, kindly offering us to use any fallen wood and logs for firewood.
The only downside to this location for us was the frequent trains that rumble through once or twice an hour and the road which has occasional cars and tractors driving back and forth, which unfortunately shattered the illusion of feeling like you were alone in a peaceful nature spot. Other than that it was a lovely spot, just as pictured, with good hosts.
Have small workshops about your nation, jewelery, knowledge, spirituality etc.
Have native food and show how easy you can identify and make it.
If you have it on or near your first nation site, show and share with everyone who you are and 'be proud'.
Brian is a great host! I made this reservation months ago. Unfortunately, my husband and I caught an awful cold right before our trip that would have made camping miserable so we kept postponing our departure hoping it would pass but alas, I’m still recovering. So while I can’t say anything about the campsite itself, host Brian is a positive person and he quickly responds to messages. He sent instructions, put out signs, and provided firewood, anticipating our eventual arrival. I fully intend to stay there in the future.
