This is Glamping at its finest! The cabin is located in Hope, BC. Hope is well-known as the gateway to British Columbia's interior and to the Lower Mainland part of the Fraser Valley. Between the Coast Mountain Range and the Cascade Mountain Range, this hub of southern BC highways makes Hope a readily accessible destination from which to explore some of the most beautiful and dramatic BC wilderness. Parking isn't available at the site. You will park a short distance away and walk to the site (1-5 mins)

You'll have this Hipcamp all to yourself.

Campfires allowed
Firewood provided, firepit, private. Wood fires are only permitted during certain times of the year when there is not a FIRE BAN. All fires must be completely out before retiring for the night. Small fires are only allowed 20 inch flames for both the propane fire pit as well as the wood fire pit. All fires must be extinguished before retiring. Put put wood fire with a bucket of water. Do not leave any fire unattended, even red umbers.

This is a hobby farm and there are chickens, ducks and rabbits as well as dogs and cats. If you have a pet we must discuss if your pet will be a fit for the property before bringing them.

Tap, hose, pump or well, bottled water or jugs. Our water in Hope is the best water in the world.

Hot water , cold water only. Hot water on demand shower.

Compost bin, recycling bin, trash bin

Grill over firepit, bbq, fridge, dishware, cutlery, sink or other dishwashing station. Microwave. No cooking inside the cabin except for use of the microwave. You are responsible for washing and drying the dishes provided for you.

Amazing cabin
Bigfoot Hideaway
I loved the cabin and its energy. It is even more beautiful in pictures than in person. The host was very friendly and her dogs and cats were cute and ready to be pet. The landscape looks like a postal card. Strongly recommended!

Bigfoot Hideaway
Michele has a kind heart and her animals are as sweet as pea. Very relaxing. Plenty of wildlife activity to watch on the river (bears, jumping sturgeon, osprey carrying fish). And it’s a short drive into Hope from the cabin.

We had the most magical weekend at BigFoot BnB. Perfect mornings with Michele's warm bread & coffee looking out onto the mighty Fraser and cozy afternoons reading by the fire enjoying a BBQ. Thank you Michele for this perfect getaway - all of your cozy, welcoming touches were so appreciated! (P.S. this is a perfect spot to get engaged!)

You have to have the cobbler jam!!!! Hands down the best thing I’ve ever put in my mouth along side Michelle’s homemade artisan bread. The landscape is beautiful watching sturgeon jumping out of the water, hearing wolves and seeing the occasional bear across the river right in the back yard. Highly highly recommended.

A little bit of paradise

What a lovely little place to stay! We stayed here for our last little adventure on our travels and it was just perfect! Michelle is so lovely! Her property is a wonderland! I don’t have one bad thing to say about Michelle or her amazing cabin. It’s a magical wonderland of relaxation. I miss it already! The animals, the incredibly comfortable bed, the amazing view, just amazing.

Wow! I’ve travelled all around the world and this has been by far one of my favourite places. Michele is an amazing host and she’s created such a peaceful space for her guests and of course her sweet little animals! We were sad to leave. Thank you again Michele!! Also 11/10 recommend her other business called Shepherds Pillow on Etsy, amazing stuff and her studio is pretty neat,

Leave Your Cares Behind!
Bigfoot Hideaway
If you want a few private days away from the hustle bustle, then this is your place. Re-connect with nature in the little cabin in the woods. Lull yourself to sleep with the constant flow of the river, steps from the cabin. The fire pit area is especially serene as you gaze across the river watching butterflies and listening to the birds. We really enjoyed having our morning coffee on the covered porch, which also has a beautiful view of the "Mighty Fraser." Michele is a great host and has thought of all the little things that make your stay comfortable and relaxing.

Cozy Cabin Beside the Mighty Fraser
Bigfoot Hideaway
Well within a reasonable drive from Vancouver, Magnolia Cottage makes for the perfect quick getaway from the city. Tenderly stocked by host Michele, one feels right at home with coffee, tea, cookware, etc. inside the cozy cabin. Outside the cabin, the mighty Fraser offers constant entertainment watching logs and birds go by, and fishing opportunities abound. Two fire pits, one wood, one propane, make great spots for relaxation. Michele’s animals are happy to make friends, with the chickens up top quick to say hello, and her cats more than happy to hang out by the wood fire pit between hunting sessions in the bushes. With really everything one could need, Magnolia makes a great base camp to explore the Fraser Canyon.

A perfect stay
Bigfoot Hideaway
This place is amazing! Its the perfect place to sit and do nothing but appreciate your surroundings. Michele is the best host you could ask for and we loved our daily visits from all the animals. I'd strongly recommend taking advantage of the produce offered. I'll miss having homemade bread and fresh eggs for breakfast. We will definitely be back!

Lush Oasis with Feather/Fur Friends

Michele was a great host, the cabin had everything needed for an excellent and relaxing getaway. We were mesmerized by the epic view of the river and surely will return again. Added bonus - visits from the laying hens, kitties and pooch was simply the best. Loved every minute, thank you for letting us stay, it was truly a privledge. Highly recommended 👍🏼👍🏼

Great place to relax!
Bigfoot Hideaway
If you're looking for a nice place to relax away from the city, then this is your place. The cabin was very cozy, the bed was comfortable, but the best part is definitely the patio with the view of the river beside you. Michele was a great host and showed us to the cabin and a bit of her place. There are a lot of animals on her site but they are so cute to be around, and even the chickens came down one morning while we had coffee. Highly recommend to anyone!

Michele was such an incredible host! You can really tell she has put so much effort and care into her place. The land was absolutely beautiful and I would highly recommend her spot to anyone! Thanks for the excellent communication - very responsive which makes the experience that much better. As you can tell from the photos, the view is breathtaking. Thank you again Michele - truly an incredible spot and such a wonderful Hipcamp experience.

Michele and gang, thank you so very much for the opportunity to stay at your little peace of heaven. All your thoughtfulness to make our stay peaceful and relaxing did not go unmissed or unappreciated. Fresh eggs and bread, oh my word, so good! We really enjoyed the gang, the chickens, the duck, Zeus and Apollo, and the cats. The cabin was so charming and the view was beautiful. We look forward to our return visit. Thanks again!
