Camping is open and the weather is beautiful! Enjoy the beautiful acres right on the Chilliwack River! A wonderful family-friendly (including pets!) getaway with endless activities nearby. (no pets allowed for glamping) Our camp sites are great for anyone wanting to camp, including groups. Walk in tenting only. We have Glamping tents as well - we provide everything except your food, drinks and personal items! They are situated beside the river, with a eating bar overlooking the river and with beautiful views. For the romantic couple - but we also can accomodate a small child (inquire). Our campsite is available in the spring and summer and is just 20 minutes from the city of Chilliwack, BC. We provide a fire pit and campfires are allowed as long as there is no fire ban. (then you can have a propane campfire) The sites are quite private but there will be other campers nearby. We try to keep a large amount of space between sites and some are separated by trees. We are a walk in tent only site- parking is very close, 30 second walk. We can also provide access to electricity so you can charge your phones or other devices if needed. There is no cell reception, but we do have wifi that you can use. Potable water is available. We supply natural spring water but you must bring your own jug. We live in an adventure playground! Activities nearby include hiking, white rapid river rafting, fishing, watching bald eagles, Cultus Lake water slides and adventure park, mountain biking, cold plunge and sauna retreats, wine tastings and more! The stargazing at night is beautiful as there is no light pollution here. We look forward to hosting you!

Our lake belongs to the beavers and ducks more than the humans. It’s an amazing place to watch, while swimming is best done at the river, a 5min drive away or half hour walk. A hike through the woods affords many opportunities to discover secret spots carved out of the wilderness with private views of the lake and surrounding properties. The rare wildlife around includes bobcats, bears, cougars, deer, elk and the occasional wolf. Ermine, rabbits and grouse are also common sightings. We have 2 dogs and appreciate a chance to introduce them to your dogs so they understand you’re authorized visitors, once you’ve settled in and your animals are comfortable. We have a 7 acre developing hobby farm currently with fruit trees, a garden, a king shepherd named Jack and a cat named Lulu. You may see some of our neighbour's ducks walking around and hear their rooster in the morning. Please note; our driveway is an uphill, switchback driveway so long trailers are not a fit for our location. Front wheel or 4 wheel is a plus but typically all vehicles can make it up our driveway. We have 2 swimming holes near and backing our property. At the back of the property is Hayward Lake/Hairsine Creek which is great for swimming. Inflatable paddle boards are the way to go if you wish to paddle board in the lake since it would be difficult portaging a rigid paddle board down the Crown Land trail. On the front is the Stave River Runoff. This has trails and is ideal if you have smaller children as the water is a bit warmer and has shallow areas. There are hiking trails in the area and a beach area a short drive from the sites.

getting below freezing temperatures We are 8 minutes north east of PRINCETON BC, or an hour south of Aspen Grove BC. Define ourselves as a Christian couple and a rabbit farm, that would like to share our area with people who enjoy getting into the forest. We do not have dogs, cats or other outside pets so we frequently see deer grazing on our landings. Our property is located 28 Km off the main Hwy 5A on a highways maintained gravel road, some potholes exist! Though we have 3 camping options to choose from, we will block off 2 so whomever books first has the entire site to themselves- and can make check in and check out times flexible. Camping options are a larger 24 ' Rv for families or groups that sleeps up to 6/ a smaller 22' RV trailer for singles or couples sleeps 3. In addition to the RV we have on grid and an off grid areas for tenting, your RV's or van-life if preferred. Our driveway climbs up 100 meters off Summers Cr Rd and is quite secluded. The camping area is like a triangle- a narrow driveway over our creek that opens to a landing 100 feet long and 50 feet wide at the opposite end. Beyond the landing we are all hills and valleys with LOTS of rocky areas to explore, the terrain is uneven so bring sturdy hiking boots. Our small Hidden Creek runs through the property and you can hear it at night. We have also developed 2 hiking trails -one 3 km and one 9 km, both follow our creek to the top of our mountain- that you can explore independently or join a guided hike. After your hike enjoy a soak in our mineral filled hot tub- yet please no soaps or shampoos- hot tubs are not like a Jacuzzi. A Jacuzzi might tolerate such chemicals and just fill up with fun bubbles, but hot tubs are different. The motors and filters might get clogged and ruin the tub. We fill the tub with spring water from our creek and we only add Epson salts. We also have a few older bikes you can use to ride to the beautiful 7 km long Missezula lake, 3 kms north. Or rent our 16' canoe/ life jackets included/ to go out on the lake. Missezula Lake is one of our favorite summer places to cool off! Princeton area is renown for Copper Mining and we have many green rocks on the ground everywhere that are copper! We have been told there are also a few old mining caves on, or above our property, we have so far located one.

Weekend Trip to Mixed Barrel Farm

Wow, words truly cannot describe this magical retreat! When we arrived, Leah, Wayne, and their son Gavin greeted us with the absolute warmest welcome. We were standing there in awe thinking, is this place for real?!The experience completely exceeded our expectations. It is so peaceful and serene, surrounded by gorgeous mountain views. Since my husband grew up on a farm, this was such a special gift for him. The farm animals were incredibly friendly, and the two cats and goats became our instant best friends! We picked fresh vegetables from the garden for a BBQ dinner, enjoyed fresh eggs left by Leah for breakfast, and sampled amazing lamb sausages also .The property features a stunning barn with a huge game room where my son and husband played pool in the midst of watching the Fiffa game!!The RV itself was spotless, cozy, and perfectly equipped—sleeping inside, while it rained at night was so very magical.This family's generosity is just over the top. We had the whole place to ourselves, rode their e-bikes along the beautiful Vedder River trails nearby and Gavin even let my 21-year-old son ride their big tractor! If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle, I guarantee you will fall in love and never want to leave. Thank you, Leah and family, for your unmatched kindness. We cannot wait to come back!

Weekend Trip to Hayward Farms

Brent and Sherri are kind hosts who made sure we had a good fire pit and pine cones for our kiddos to throw into the fire. This was very special for our families. Additionally: -Each site had its own portapotty which is nice for privacy. -The trail down to the lake was fun for our families and the lake is beautiful. Nice bench at the end. -We were given a complimentary 5 gal water jug.

We really enjoyed the quiet and secluded feel of this camp site, without being far from amenities! Site 4 was awesome, we loved the outdoor kitchen and cozy feeling of the tent! The area is clean and safe! They have corn hole set up, my wife and I really enjoyed it for something to do away from screens! Recommend the trail behind the stable, it goes to a beautiful lake access and bridge! Brent and Sherri are great hosts, very helpful and just a quick message away if you have any questions! This was a wonderful stay at Bent Acres. We had lots of room in our truck and camper. The outhouses are spotless and cute! The beach by the river is steps away and we swam and relaxed watching birds and ducks. We walked the path around the property after dinner. Very peaceful. There is hwy noise from the other side of the river, but this didn’t affect our experience negatively. Will keep this place on file. 😊

The host was fantastic! She was very accommodating and took time to get to know what would make our stay fun and relaxing. The beach and amenities were wonderful and the space was very clean and well-kept. We ended up booking an extra night in the site after we arrived. We have added B.E.N.T. Acres to our list for future trips to Princeton. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

What an amazing and unexpected gem! B.E.N.T felt like visiting family while spending sunny days on a fabulous beach on the river! You can feel the love and care in every detail here from the comfy beach chairs to the wimsy decorations adorning the property 😀 not to mention the outhouses that felt like an indoor affair- tiled and immaculate! A definite treat to sleep under the blowing poplar trees and laze the days away! See you again soon Treena and family!

BENT Acres is a fantastic gem of a camp. Treena was welcoming, kind and accommodating. The camping area has lots of shade with big mature trees. We loved the birdsong! The beach is especially amazing for hanging out at with a variety of chairs, shade, and games.

Treena is absolutely amazing and the site is so awesome with tons of space per site and my family and my sister family had fun, especially the river area kids enjoyed playing by the sand we took lots of photos and videos and our group of 7 enjoyed the large fire pit with kids marshmallows and we have a morning short trailing around the site and the view is stunning 💁🏻‍♀️we would recommend.

It was a breathtaking view and Hayward lake was so beautiful! Brent and Sherri were also super welcoming and helpful. The Porto potty was a nice touch and they provided water as well. Site 2 little spot for my solo camping trip. Could definitely fit a few more people comfortably though.

The cabin has a lot of more amenities that the host didn't even mentioned on the website. Michael has put a lot of attention to the details to make our trip easier. (A family of fives with infants). The BBQ set works well, the campfire is fun and the trail on the property is pretty well maintained. Would definitely visit again next year.
