We have Glamping tents as well - we provide everything except your food, drinks and personal items! They are situated beside the river, with a eating bar overlooking the river and with beautiful views. For the romantic couple - but we also can accomodate a small child (inquire).
Our campsite is available in the spring and summer and is just 20 minutes from the city of Chilliwack, BC. We provide a fire pit and campfires are allowed as long as there is no fire ban. (then you can have a propane campfire)
The sites are quite private but there will be other campers nearby. We try to keep a large amount of space between sites and some are separated by trees. We are a walk in tent only site- parking is very close, 30 second walk.
We can also provide access to electricity so you can charge your phones or other devices if needed. There is no cell reception, but we do have wifi that you can use.
Potable water is available. We supply natural spring water but you must bring your own jug.
We live in an adventure playground! Activities nearby include hiking, white rapid river rafting, fishing, watching bald eagles, Cultus Lake water slides and adventure park, mountain biking, cold plunge and sauna retreats, wine tastings and more!
The stargazing at night is beautiful as there is no light pollution here.

Our lake belongs to the beavers and ducks more than the humans. It’s an amazing place to watch, while swimming is best done at the river, a 5min drive away or half hour walk.
A hike through the woods affords many opportunities to discover secret spots carved out of the wilderness with private views of the lake and surrounding properties.
The rare wildlife around includes bobcats, bears, cougars, deer, elk and the occasional wolf. Ermine, rabbits and grouse are also common sightings.
We have 2 dogs and appreciate a chance to introduce them to your dogs so they understand you’re authorized visitors, once you’ve settled in and your animals are comfortable. Thank you for your understanding!

Past our campground is the beautiful Nahatlatch provincial Park which contains Francis lake, Hanna Lake and Nahatlatch Lake. The lakes offer an abundance of activities such as fishing, kayaking, canoeing, swimming and paddle boarding. The first lake is about a 15-20 min drive again on gravel road. 2 wheel drive accessible until 21km on the forest service Road after 21km you will need a 4x4, if you plan to travel to Grizzly falls or the 3rd Lake.
There are many hiking, biking, horseback riding and ATVing trails in the area.

We have a 7 acre developing hobby farm currently with fruit trees, a garden, a king shepherd named Jack and a cat named Lulu. You may see some of our neighbour's ducks walking around and hear their rooster in the morning.
Please note; our driveway is an uphill, switchback driveway so long trailers are not a fit for our location. Front wheel or 4 wheel is a plus but typically all vehicles can make it up our driveway.
We have 2 swimming holes near and backing our property. At the back of the property is Hayward Lake/Hairsine Creek which is great for swimming. Inflatable paddle boards are the way to go if you wish to paddle board in the lake since it would be difficult portaging a rigid paddle board down the Crown Land trail. On the front is the Stave River Runoff. This has trails and is ideal if you have smaller children as the water is a bit warmer and has shallow areas.
There are hiking trails in the area and a beach area a short drive from the sites.

Nestled in the heart of the Tamihi Recreational Area, just 20 minutes from town, our property offers a rare blend of seclusion and adventure. Surrounded on three sides by lush, moss-draped forest & bordered on the fourth by the stunning Chilliwack River, it’s a true nature lover’s paradise.
Enjoy a spacious riverside beach, great for swimming during the summer & fall & world-class fishing. The area features Class I–IV rapids for whitewater kayaking, with Chilliwack River Rafting just 5 or so minutes away. You can ATV right out of our gate onto unlimited logging roads and trails or hike the Trans Canada Trail 3 blocks from our gate.
There isn't river access at the sites. The stairs to the beach are through the picnic shelter. There is a light wire fence along the river in riverfront sites for protection due to a drop-off & undercut banks.
ATV's are idle in - idle out.
QUIET, well-mannered, leashed pets are welcome if you pick up after them and not leave them unattended.
LONG WEEKENDS are a minimum of 3 nights.
CHILDREN MUST be accompanied by a parent at all times!
FIREWOOD is $9. for a large feed bag full & is available between 9 AM and 8 PM.
BEEF and EGGS: We have grass-fed Black Angus beef jerky for sale (this cow was treated as a pet until her time & was dispatched on the farm to avoid stress). We occasionally have eggs from our pastured chickens.
Our free-range kind, gentle horses also wander the property. Any interactions with them are at your own risk! The gate must be kept closed because of them.

getting below freezing temperatures
We are 8 minutes north east of PRINCETON BC, or an hour south of Aspen Grove BC. Define ourselves as a Christian couple and a rabbit farm, that would like to share our area with people who enjoy getting into the forest. We do not have dogs, cats or other outside pets so we frequently see deer grazing on our landings. Our property is located 28 Km off the main Hwy 5A on a highways maintained gravel road, some potholes exist!
Though we have 3 camping options to choose from, we will block off 2 so whomever books first has the entire site to themselves- and can make check in and check out times flexible. Camping options are a larger 24 ' Rv for families or groups that sleeps up to 6/ a smaller 22' RV trailer for singles or couples sleeps 3. In addition to the RV we have on grid and an off grid areas for tenting, your RV's or van-life if preferred.
Our driveway climbs up 100 meters off Summers Cr Rd and is quite secluded. The camping area is like a triangle- a narrow driveway over our creek that opens to a landing 100 feet long and 50 feet wide at the opposite end. Beyond the landing we are all hills and valleys with LOTS of rocky areas to explore, the terrain is uneven so bring sturdy hiking boots.
Our small Hidden Creek runs through the property and you can hear it at night. We have also developed 2 hiking trails -one 3 km and one 9 km, both follow our creek to the top of our mountain- that you can explore independently or join a guided hike. After your hike enjoy a soak in our mineral filled hot tub- yet please no soaps or shampoos- hot tubs are not like a Jacuzzi. A Jacuzzi might tolerate such chemicals and just fill up with fun bubbles, but hot tubs are different. The motors and filters might get clogged and ruin the tub. We fill the tub with spring water from our creek and we only add Epson salts.
We also have a few older bikes you can use to ride to the beautiful 7 km long Missezula lake, 3 kms north. Or rent our 16' canoe/ life jackets included/ to go out on the lake. Missezula Lake is one of our favorite summer places to cool off!
Princeton area is renown for Copper Mining and we have many green rocks on the ground everywhere that are copper! We have been told there are also a few old mining caves on, or above our property, we have so far located one.

We had a wonderful stay at Mixed Barrel Farm! Even though we arrived ahead of our scheduled check-in time, we were warmly greeted by Wayne, who kindly showed us around the property and introduced us to the cats, goats, lambs, and chickens.
A major highlight was our son getting to feed the goats and even learning how to play pool. It was a fantastic experience for him. Overall, it was a deeply relaxing getaway surrounded by nature. We highly recommend this property and would love to visit again!

Had such a wonderful stay at the cabin! The farm was absolutely beautiful and peaceful, making it the perfect place to relax. We loved being around the animals — the horses, dogs, and chickens made the experience even more special. The cabin was cozy, and the whole place had such a lovely atmosphere. Michael was incredibly welcoming and kind, which made us feel right at home. Overall, it was an amazing experience and I would definitely recommend staying here!

We had a great 1-night stay at Michael’s tent site while passing through town. Michael had set out our firewood for us in advance of our arrival and we had no issues with the water or bathroom. The bathroom is shared with the other cabins on the property.

Very beautiful property with a super sweet family hosting! This was my second time camping here, and it was amazing both times :) We plan to continue returning and highly recommend it! The hosts have clearly put a lot of time and effort into every detail, and it really shows throughout the property. I loved camping on Brian's land, the surrounding area is really nice and they're are nice hikes around the area. Brian was a great host and we were able to purchase firewood from him for a reasonable price.

We had a wonderful time at the mixed barrel farm! Our 5-year-old son loved picking eggs, feeding animals, petting them. We had the chance to visit the bee farm and taste fresh honey from the hive! We all loved it.
Leah and her husband wayne were both kind and helpful whenever we had questions.
We will definitely come back again. Highly recommend it for families with children or anyone interested in farm life!

Michael was a kind, communicative and helpful Host. He has a hidden away location, yet very close to Cultus Lake, and has a few friendly animals at the site too. We camped on the grass field, and found it to be a great, quiet spot.

Super friendly hosts! Welcoming. Was situated between Princeton and Hedley making it a great home base for nearby adventures. From the ghost town of coalmont and blakeburn, to the abandoned French mines in the hills of Hedley, we adventured all around. We would love to book the waterfront spot next time, we booked late so we didn’t get it, but our spot was lovely, clean, had a picnic table and nearby water hookup.

Great hosts very responsive and brought firewood and extra water immediately. Scenic site with a connection to Hayward trail.
The sniff spots are also a great addition for dogs to explore and play. There are chickens and ducks nearby for kids.
The porta potties are a nice touch.

We had a great time camping here and would come back in a heartbeat! The area was beautiful and was right by the river, and the campsites were large and well-maintained. The provided amenities like the dishwashing station, clean outhouses, and wagons for moving supplies made our trip super comfortable. And of course the friendly dogs made it even better!

This camp site is really really good for families. Kids friendly while have a lot of private space. Shower is fantastic in the wood and very warm inside the cabinet. Very quite. Host is very nice and my kids had a really good time there.

We had an absolutely fantastic getaway! The cabin was wonderful and provided the perfect nature escape for our family. Michael was an incredibly friendly and welcoming host who really made us feel at home. We loved the thoughtful outdoor spa, but the absolute highlight was the healing woodfire pit—it was exactly what we needed to gather around, grill some dinner, and enjoy the beautiful forest surroundings together. Highly recommend!

Great little spot to camp! Loved the water view and the short walk to the lake. Didn’t have any neighbours on site 1 which was nice. The hosts helped us get some firewood as we didn’t have any. And gave us a 5 gallon of water which was nice!
We did hear some trains/fast cars overnight from the highway across the water. But overall a great stay for the long weekend.

We had a fantastic camping experience with Brent and Sherri! The campsite was beautiful, peaceful, and very well maintained. We really enjoyed the easy access to the lake, nearby hiking trails, and all the nature around the property — perfect for a relaxing outdoor getaway with family.
Brent and Sherri were amazing hosts throughout our stay. They checked in on us, brought water when needed, and were always just a message away if we needed anything. Their hospitality truly made the experience even better.
Overall, a great camping spot with wonderful hosts. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy nature, hiking, and a relaxing camping experience!
