Great space, quiet area with rolling hills, and clean bathrooms. Would definitely stay again!
This camp is absolutely a rare find. It's hard to explain how special this place is. The hosts are kind and welcoming. We felt like part of the community from the moment we arrived.
The field / sites are massive, with plenty of room to run around and play, and the outhouse is cute and clean. We enjoyed the quiet, the stars, the woods, the field, and the visits from the dog friends. (The kids already miss their new dog friends!) We also spent one of our days exploring Nooksack falls and the surrounding area.
I have to mention this because it's so cool - once a year (I believe), they host a small community festival for a cause in the big field with live music, food & drinks, games, silent auction, and activities for kids. We happened to be there while they were setting up, and Rich even gave us a discount because of the festival prep going on. As a professional musician, getting a glimpse of their community spirit and seeing live music incorporated as a foundation of their event made me very happy :)

We visited for the long weekend from Vancouver and it was the perfect getaway from the city. The location is rural farms and beautiful parks all around, with some hidden gem spots (Gunners is A+) to stop for a beer and snack! The hosts Richard and Kathleen were so kind and personable, bringing by their dogs in the morning for a routine walk. We enjoyed the scenery, company from the hosts and unlimited adventures to seek out. We truly hope to be back soon.

Good stay. Private. Hosts stopped by twice a day to check in which was nice. They brought their dogs which was a treat for my dog. They shared local travel trips and places to explore. I took full advantage of their suggestions and was not disappointed. Will def stay again.
What a beautiful place with amazing hosts (and their lovely doggos). We loved every minute of our short stay. We’ll be back for more.
My dog and I had a fantastic time once again. Richard and Kathleen are terrific hosts and the land is beautiful. Lots to explore close by. The camping spots are spaced far apart so we had lots of space to ourselves. We’ll be back!
We showed up with our little teardrop trailer and our dog. The sites are each on level grassy ground which was perfect for our trailer. Our hosts have three super sweet dogs that our dog got along with right away. Our host Richard makes the rounds with his dogs a couple times a day and is great to talk with. We had such a great time and will definitely be back.

What a wonderful little spot to camp. Camp sites were a good distance apart for privacy. Richard was super nice and helpful, made the rounds to make sure campers needs were fulfilled. I'd definitely return!

Gorgeous spot for a solstice camp. Quiet sites, beautiful field of daisies, and super friendly and generous hosts.
Everything was amazing! Our dogs had fun running with the host dogs. The sites are perfectly spaced apart and the size of each was incredible. We will definitely be back for more quiet.
The site was calm and beautiful, surrounded by wildflowers. The sunrise was absolutely stunning and truly mesmerizing. The host checked in on us in the evening to make sure everything was going well, which was a thoughtful touch. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this place to others.

This is truly a magical place. We were the only campers there when we stayed. We enjoyed the hospitality and their beautiful dogs.
Richard and his wife are super sweet and have an amazing property. We stayed just one night but we would love to come back and explore the area again some time. Thanks for the hospitality!

Richard is such an awesome host. Kind, friendly, and hands off but available if you need him which I appreciate! The campsite is beautiful and well maintained. Richard has great recs for local spots, hikes, etc. I’d 100% stay here again, it was my best Hipcamp experience so far!

We had a wonderful time staying at Richard’s campground. There’s plenty of space and it’s less than an hour of drive to scenic places around Mt. Baker so we enjoyed hiking there. I can definitely recommend this place

Lovely quiet spot. We camped here the last two nights and had a fantastic time. On the second night we shared the space with a large birthday party full of teenagers and still felt like our spot was very private. This morning we saw an owl right outside our tent. Richard and Kathleen are awesome people and their property is beautiful and well maintained. We will definitely camp here again!

Beautiful camp spot. Very quiet and peaceful. Exactly what we were hoping for. Very clean and maintained. Friendly owners. We loved our stay!
I really enjoyed the peaceful large meadow to camp. Lots of grassy spots and the campsites were spaced apart nicely.
Really special calm spot!
I had my 9yr old great niece and mini Aussie. A good time was had by all!

This was a great spot, peaceful and quiet. The field is massive and all the sites are spread out. My pup loved meeting all of Rich's dogs and running around chasing a frisbee in the open space. Rich was a great host, and we loved chatting with him.
Loved the beautiful field! Lots of solitude and nature all around us. Clean bathroom and water hose available. Rich and his wife were helpfull with local intel. Easy access to hikes and amenities as needed. Love to go back soon!

Great spot to camp near the Washington/British Columbia border! Lots of space to roam and the restroom was spotless. I enjoyed interacting with Rich, his son, and meeting all the pets around the property :)
Although we only stayed for one night, we thoroughly enjoyed our time on Richard and Kathleen’s land. We came for stargazing and the views didn’t disappoint! Lots of space to enjoy nature, peacefully quiet at night, and the scenery is just lovely. The two of them (and their furry companions) are so kind and welcoming, offering tons of knowledge about the area. We will most definitely be back!

We ended up booking this site last minute after our original campsite was cancelled due to wildfire evacuations, and we’re glad we found it. The land was peaceful and easy to get to, with cell service and a well-maintained outhouse, which was appreciated. It was a great option in a pinch and we’d definitely come back again.
This is a magical spot, beautiful views, lots of options on site selections. We were lucky enough to get the whole place to ourselves for the first few nights. We arrived with no plans and Rich and Kathleen had fantastic insider tips, restaurant recommendations, and spectacular sights to see. Great hosts and a great property, enjoy!

Rich was incredibly kind, welcoming, and accommodating. We only had the chance to stay one night on his beautiful property, but I’m glad we had to chance to meet his dogs and see the sun set over his field. He had great recommendations for the area, and the property was well maintained!
We’ll be back for future trips to check out more of what the north Cascades have to offer.
