Camping was great here! Andy was great about showing us where to set up and how to navigate outhouses. Quiet, secluded site. Just bring bug spray! :)

Super fun spot! The nets were lovely and it was nice and quiet/secluded camp out for our group. We will definitely be back! There were lots of mosquitoes so bring bug spray!! (Probably a lot worse due to the fireban)

Quaint spots with neighbors

This worked for us when we had a last minute site cancellation. Nice and close to the freeway, really nice shade over the spots. Buggy. We are used to dry camping so the compost toilet and site worked well for us. We brought our own table and chairs since there’s no table, & we made the site work for our two tents. It was close quarters. Site #2 is less private but there was no one else there so it was fine. I would say when compared to the listing, we were surprised that there are permanent tenants nearby in the woods, in addition to the house on the land, & also using the outdoor facilities. I think a warning about that would have made us feel more comfortable. Another note: loud coyotes at night! Luckily my reactive dog didn’t care.

ALMOST CANADA

Our stay at site #1 was lovely. It had everything we needed: privacy, location, and peace. Since we were traveling with our dog is was important that we had space from other people since she can be a barker. Site #1 is off the trail a bit and gave her lots of peace. Our main purpose for looking in the area for places to sleep was to go to Vancouver. This site was about 5-10 mins from the Canadian border and about an hour and a half from Vancouver, mostly because of traffic (~40 miles). We took multiple trips into Vancouver to spend the day and we loved having a place to come back to that was not too far away. Lastly, we are very used to staying at state park campsites. There are pros and cons of course to this. Pro: amenities likes bathrooms, showers, potable water, and often a cool location however cons like loud neighbors and price always make us consider Hipcamps. We were very happy with the amenities which include a well maintained composting toilet and a pretty neat shower (that i could not figure out but that was no problem). We were also offered far more peace and quiet than a traditional campground. All this to say Andy’s land is beautiful and i would recommend

This was a big bait and switch. Someone else was at our campsite, there was no water available for drinking, the space was very buggy, the shower didn’t work, and the host didn’t communicate. Don’t stay here!

Overall this camp did not meet expectations, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here. We arrived in the evening and someone else was set up in our site, so we took the other spot. Hosts were not on site, the photos don’t reflect how things currently look. There’s no running water at the shower, it wasn’t working. The outhouse/compost toilet was also less than ideal - there was a large bag of bathroom waste hanging inside, and with no running water/soap to wash up it felt like hand sanitizer wasn’t enough. The other campers were disruptive at 5am. While it looked like a great spot online, in reality there’s some better hipcamp options in the area that I wish we would’ve booked instead.

Water is non potable and no fire available with owner sending message to state there isn’t any available so they should just change the listing so people know what’s actually available. Dogs barking half the night from the house nearby.

I have camped at this camp site a few different times now and I absolutely love it!! The kids also love the Nets in the trees it adds a very unique and fun experience to our camping adventures. Thanks again Andy!! I'm sure we will be reserving camp site 2 quite a bit this summer!!

Overall we had a great experience but the campsite didn’t look exactly like the pictures. It was a bit hard looking for the sites since some of the signs were missing but the nets and the camp fire area were great! We had a lot of fun and the bathroom was nicer than most campsites we’ve been to!

Magical forest site

Andy was very accommodating! We were quite late in arriving, and not exactly the usual customers: We have a tent on our truck and this place is best to set up tents a tiny walk into the woods! None-the-less, there was room in the "parking lot" which was perfect for a night's accommodations. The shower and outhouse were good too, though I preferred a cold shower so didn't try out the heat but have no doubt it works. Overall, a lovely stay!

This was such a cool little place to stay! We extended our stay because we enjoyed it so much!! The nets were our favorite place to be. The outhouse and shower idea were awesome. We will absolutely be back!

This is our kids' favorite spot. They always beg to come back to Coyote Camp! Andy is very welcoming, but gives you the space to enjoy your escape. The sites and common areas are well kept. We highly recommend napping in the nets. Best nap you'll ever have.

Amazing outdoor shower. It warms up really quickly and had all the soap and shampoo. Andy was very helpful and greeted us when we got there. He had water waiting and answered all our questions. Campsites are marked and walking distance from the car in a very wooded area. Would definitely come back when in the area again.

A great camp site, especially for our last minute trip! Andy was great at communicating and giving us directions. The best part is the compostable bathroom! So clean! I wish more camp sites had this rather than the portable potty. I’d highly recommend this site, especially if you’re just doing a short stop over across the border.

This campground was great for our trip to Washington! Very close to Bellingham, Vancouver, and Mt. Baker. Campsite facilities were very clean, easily accessible and the tree net was especially great for naps!

Perfect for day trip to Vancouver

Stayed at camp site #2 for two nights and had a great experience! We chose Coyote Camp due to the extreme proximity to the Canadian border (~20 mins) which made it ideal for a day trip to Vancouver. Camp site 2 is next to the nets which are super fun and good for relaxing and reading. Site #1 is definitely the more secluded of the two, but still within earshot of camp site 1. The site was pretty loud on Saturday night with the neighbors playing music, shooting guns, and dogs barking until well past dusk, so plan accordingly. Outdoor bathroom and shower is a nice feature for longer stays!

We had a great stay. Camp site one is nice and private. We loved having a bathroom, and a shower! (Unheard of!) We enjoyed reading in the tree nets, and our pups enjoyed themselves as well. We will definitely be back! Camp site one is cozy with 2 tents. I would probably just do one tent next time or book camp site 2 if bringing a larger group. We also loved that a fire pit was provided so we could enjoy a fire despite the burn ban. Thank you!

Site was great! Water, toilet, shower, were a real treat, the nets were awesome! The only thing (out of owners control) was the noise. Someone nearby was playing loud music well after 10pm. Also there are barking dogs in the distance throughout the night. Will visit again, just will bring my ear plugs!

Coyote Camp was great! Bathroom, water and a shower were a real treat. The nets were awesome, no complaints about the site. The only thing we weren’t so happy with (out of hosts control) was the neighbours were playing very loud rock music till around midnight. They turned it down at 10 but was still uncomfortably loud. Also if your a light sleeper the barking dogs in the distance may keep you up. Will return for more but will be packing my ear plugs!
