We are located in Marblemount, WA along the Cascade river. Every site we have you can hear the river and walk to in less that 5 minutes. There is an amazing rocky beach along the river with the view of mountains all around.
We are located 4 minutes from the town of Marblemount were there is 2 gas stations with some food and drink items, propane and a small hardware section year round. Marblemount has 3 restaurants open in the summer. The town also a post office.
We are 15 minutes from the North Cascades National Park and an entrance to the Pacific Crest Trail.
We offer fire wood ($5.00 a bundle), propane fire pits ($15.00 a night, please request ahead via messaging to Heather ) and in season vegetables (price varies depending). You can pay cash or Venmo on site.
Please be aware that we have a Firework show for the 4th of July.

Hike the several miles of nature trails on the hillside and explore our 65 acres of certified forest. Placards on the nature trail are part of our self-guided tour and provide information about forestry and the plants and animals that call this their home. Wander through the old growth groves, walk the 50' boardwalk and see the magical Fern Ridge. There are abundant wildflowers and seasonal berries to pick, as well as a variety of fall apples and pears in the old orchard available for self harvest. You can even purchase a tree to take home and plant.
Other farm experiences include a guided interactive nature tour for your group, a class on making maple syrup, or experience farm life and come "hang with the hens" or enjoy some interactive "pony time." We also offer the opportunity to purchase seasonal fruits and vegetables brought to your site. IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO KNOW: We are a real working farm, not like a romanticized IG version of a farm. There are tractors running, sprayers making applications, farm animals loudly enjoying life, day customers picking fruit, and farmers about early in the morning. With that being said, we understand that experience may not be to everyone's liking. Be aware that if you do decide to camp here be ready for a real farm adventure! Another little tidbit: to grow food, we try to maximize the amount of sun it receives- SHADE IS VERY LIMITED.
ALL CAMPSITES ARE U-PICK, THERE ARE NO DESIGNATED CAMPSITES. Let your creativity shine and choose as dope a spot as you like! If you're scared of driving off a paved road or frightened by the natural world we suggest glamping at another lovely Green Bluff location.
Starting SEPTEMBER 23RD until OCTOBER 31ST every weekday we host hundreds of school kids on the farm. They start arriving around 9:00 am. If the sound of children's laughter drives you absolutely insane, you might think twice about booking a stay with us in the fall.
Winter camping is available, please note we typically receive a lot of snow.
Early spring is the extreme mud season, please be cautious of our soft ground and stick to the roads.
July-August can get very dry some years, which means the grass goes dormant and dust starts to fly. Farm=Dirt
MAX STAY IS 14 DAYS.
No Side by Sides (UTV's), dirt bikes, or ATV's allowed to be rallied on the property. We can suggest close spots to rally.
Bookings must be done though this site, we do not take payment for stays at the farm.
Agriculture 101: In the early spring, fruit trees awaken from winter dormancy, bloom for a few weeks, and are pollinated by insects; the pollinated blossoms SLOWLY develop into fruit over the summer. As much as we’d like instant fruit in the spring, nature doesn’t work that way. Fruit development takes time.

We are right next to the Marblemount Boat Launch and within an easy walk into town if you want to visit the local restaurants or need camping gear. Our property has five tent campsites on the river as well as a 26' glamping dome (previously used for artic research) completely painted with a galaxy of the night sky. A converted antique hay trailer turned tiny house with an 8' ceiling loft with 3-way views of the forest and river, deck, and private "magic spot" on the Cascade River.
The Lil Bit O Heaven Campground is the perfect base camp for your summer adventure! Firewood is available onsite most of the summer. Fresh, clean drinking water, permanent bathrooms and a private shower are available for all campers. An outdoor (completely private) shower is available for those who book the tiny house.
Please note that you must follow any local fire bans. Please check the fire conditions PRIOR to making a campfire.
Please note that there are areas where you can get directly to the side of the Cascade River, and the river is swift and dangerous! It is not safe for swimming and no safe for unattended children and/or pets.

Welcome to The Landing at Index - located on the South Fork Skykomish River, in the western foothills of the Cascade Mountains, off of Highway 2. With 16 acres of beautiful, private woods and breathtaking views of Mt. Index, this is a wonderful getaway to kick back and relax after your day of adventures, or just to escape the city rush. This is a gated property, protected with a code, which you will be sent 24 hours before your arrival. Please be sure to read arrival instructions!
The campsites are at the bottom of a long logging road so an SUV or AWD vehicle are preferable , especially during the wetter seasons.
When the property was logged approximately 100 years ago they scooped out gravel from the river to make their roads in the area thus creating the back eddy pool along the beach.
A rather peaceful setting, including the rushing sound of the river and the occasional whistle of a train. You will feel refreshed and rejuvenated after you stay at The Landing.
Pets are welcome, there are private outhouses at each campsite. These outhouses are protected with a code, which is sent to you 24 hours before your arrival. Campfires are allowed (when burn bans are not in place).

Deer and occasional coyotes roam the property, but rest assured, they are apprehensive of us and pose no threat.
We derive great pleasure from spending time outdoors, so you may frequently observe us engaged in fieldwork, construction, or simply relaxing in our stargazing hammock circle. We are always available to provide you with space or invite you to join us. We derive immense satisfaction from meeting new individuals and have numerous recommendations for Whidbey Island, including the delectable blueberry stand in Freeland and the Mutiny Bay Blues, a venue that we can either recommend or provide directions to.
We eagerly anticipate your visit. Fern Gully is conveniently located just a two-minute drive from the charming Greenbank Pantry. Our rental property was once a mini Rail Road with full size locomotive's, train cars, pumper cars and more. My dad & grandpa layed all the tracks & put together the buildings in the 1970's. Once done my grandma sold tickets to the tourist and my grandpa ran the engine around the 7 acre oval track pulling a train car full of happy tourist through the woods over the train bridge and past the big water tower back to their vehicles so they could finish their journies with a drive to Mt. This location is only a mile away from the Mount Rainier National Park entrance. We had such a great weekend here! We stayed in one of the larger sites and absolutely loved it. The site had a nice covered area with a picnic table, beautiful grass, and incredible big-sky views. It was quiet, peaceful, and felt like a real escape.
The host was wonderful—attentive and helpful without ever feeling intrusive. We also really appreciated the little camp store/farm stand, which had a great selection of fresh eggs, fruits, vegetables, and camping supplies, all at very reasonable prices.
There was plenty to enjoy around the property, including putt putt, volleyball, horses, and chickens. And one of the biggest bonuses for us was that our dog had room to roam and explore.
Overall, it was exactly the kind of relaxing camping weekend we were hoping for. Beautiful property, thoughtful host, peaceful setting, and lots of little touches that made the stay special. We would absolutely come back!

We love Rusty Ranch! We have stayed here several times and always have a wonderful stay. Everything (including the cute composting toilets) is well maintained and clean, the grounds are lovely and private, the hosts friendly and helpful, the snack shack well stocked with fresh eggs/ice/snacks/produce from the property, the trails and creek are beautiful. We will definitely be back and would recommend it to anyone as long as it doesn’t get so popular that we can’t get in! 😊

An incredible private campground, everything was top notch with such fun extras to add on like feeding the chickens and pony on the farm, and a little snack shack for ice, water and fun treats. Such beautiful views. We set up a pop up trailer at this site without hookups and did have some trouble finding level ground. Tent camping would probably have been less of an issue but we worked it out fine in the end. Could not say enough about the view from where we were. Nice community area where we washed dishes. I think they’re working on putting in another toilet which would be helpful on full weekends like this was. No complaints and will be going back!

Great place to camp!!! We loved the option for bathroom and the cooking studio. Made the experience so much better, especially with kiddos. Having the studio seriously helped during our stay because there was a burn ban, and during the rain, the kids were able to play some board games at the table. We came with a large group, and all of us loved it. The kids loved hearing the cows and seeing the goats. Seriously nothing i would change about this place. 10/10

We enjoyed staying in the Misty Meadows group site. Margaret created a space perfect for groups. The composting toilets were so cute, can I say that about an outdoor toilet? Our group enjoyed the walking trails through the woods and the meadow during golden hour was beautiful. We had a storm our first night and the covered shelter was a lifesaver.

We love camping here. This is our second year. The river is a short walk away and the sites are spacious. The bathroom is nice and well maintained. They have updated the property and are working on new things. We have been in the blazing sun and in the pouring rain. Both were great in their own way. Close to Diablo and Ross Lakes.

Tent
Great spot! We stayed at Campsite 1, all four spots were occupied but there is plenty of space between them. The river access was a nice feature, likely varies by season (we went in early Sept.). Big open field on one side of the campground would be great for frisbee, fetch, yard games, etc. Nice to have a treeline separating the tent area from the river as a noise barrier too.

Crystal provided a lovely space for us to camp out for 2 days. The space was perfect size for the tent, a sitting area as well as parking for our Jeep. Location was amazing - 5 min drive to the Park and 5-10 min away from some really great eateries.
