Our rental property was once a mini Rail Road with full size locomotive's, train cars, pumper cars and more. My dad & grandpa layed all the tracks & put together the buildings in the 1970's. Once done my grandma sold tickets to the tourist and my grandpa ran the engine around the 7 acre oval track pulling a train car full of happy tourist through the woods over the train bridge and past the big water tower back to their vehicles so they could finish their journies with a drive to Mt. Rainier. There is a lot of history on this property for our family and we hope by sharing it with others they will be able to experience some fun here as well.

We offer some of the most beautiful scenery in western Washington. Here you will find the peaceful quiet of being "away from it all", yet in reality you are only a little over a mile from the local grocery store, restaurants, and gas stations along Hwy 12 in Randle.
We have 20 spacious sites on 70 acres, bordered by the Cowlitz River in Randle, WA. We are centrally located between Mt. Rainier, Mt. St. Helens, and Mt. Adams. Since we are not open for public entry, you can feel safe leaving your camp set up while you take day excursions.
We have dry camping ONLY. There is a spigot for water at the gate, but no water or electricity hookups at any of the sites. This year (2026) we are expanding almost all of the sites while doing our best to keep privacy intact. This will allow for a wider variation of vehicle types, as well as more room for kiddos to play within the site itself.
We welcome individual campers as well as groups. Many of our sites will hold 20-30 people, all in one site area. We can also accommodate much larger groups.... Let us know if you have a special group event. We can discuss your needs and see if our property is a fit for you. Waterfall Sanctuary is a hidden gem on 17 acres, bordered on two sides by the Gifford Pinchot N F. In the heart of the Columbia River Gorge just outside Carson, Washington. It's home to a mini-farm with goats, ducks, & chickens. Deer & elk walk through the property on a fairly regular basis depending on the season, it's less than a mile walk (or short drive) to the Wind River with a swimming hole, & a short distance further to the Pacific Crest Trail.
A 20-minute drive & you're at the Columbia River. An hour to the West is Portland if you are in the mood for some city life, & 35 minutes east is Hood River, a gorgeous old town with tons of charm. The closest town, Stevenson, Washington is home to shops, local restaurants, & access to the Columbia River.
Also in close proximity are amazing waterfalls, trails, & National Forest roads that are close by & well maintained. No matter the season there is something to do a short distance from the property.
Keep in mind that the property is very rugged except for the trails we have provided to access other parts of the property. We are as off grid & sustainable as possible- while no electricity or running water is available at the individual sites, we provide battery or solar operated lighting, a container of water for each site.

Welcome to The Landing at Index - located on the South Fork Skykomish River, in the western foothills of the Cascade Mountains, off of Highway 2. With 16 acres of beautiful, private woods and breathtaking views of Mt. Index, this is a wonderful getaway to kick back and relax after your day of adventures, or just to escape the city rush. This is a gated property, protected with a code, which you will be sent 24 hours before your arrival. Please be sure to read arrival instructions!
The campsites are at the bottom of a long logging road so an SUV or AWD vehicle are preferable , especially during the wetter seasons.
When the property was logged approximately 100 years ago they scooped out gravel from the river to make their roads in the area thus creating the back eddy pool along the beach.
A rather peaceful setting, including the rushing sound of the river and the occasional whistle of a train. You will feel refreshed and rejuvenated after you stay at The Landing.
Pets are welcome, there are private outhouses at each campsite. These outhouses are protected with a code, which is sent to you 24 hours before your arrival. Campfires are allowed (when burn bans are not in place).

IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO KNOW: We are a real working farm, not like a romanticized IG version of a farm. There are tractors running, sprayers making applications, farm animals loudly enjoying life, day customers picking fruit, and farmers about early in the morning. With that being said, we understand that experience may not be to everyone's liking. Be aware that if you do decide to camp here be ready for a real farm adventure! Another little tidbit: to grow food, we try to maximize the amount of sun it receives- SHADE IS VERY LIMITED.
ALL CAMPSITES ARE U-PICK, THERE ARE NO DESIGNATED CAMPSITES. Let your creativity shine and choose as dope a spot as you like! If you're scared of driving off a paved road or frightened by the natural world we suggest glamping at another lovely Green Bluff location.
Starting SEPTEMBER 23RD until OCTOBER 31ST every weekday we host hundreds of school kids on the farm. They start arriving around 9:00 am. If the sound of children's laughter drives you absolutely insane, you might think twice about booking a stay with us in the fall.
Winter camping is available, please note we typically receive a lot of snow.
Early spring is the extreme mud season, please be cautious of our soft ground and stick to the roads.
July-August can get very dry some years, which means the grass goes dormant and dust starts to fly. Farm=Dirt
MAX STAY IS 14 DAYS.
No Side by Sides (UTV's), dirt bikes, or ATV's allowed to be rallied on the property. We can suggest close spots to rally.
Bookings must be done though this site, we do not take payment for stays at the farm.
Agriculture 101: In the early spring, fruit trees awaken from winter dormancy, bloom for a few weeks, and are pollinated by insects; the pollinated blossoms SLOWLY develop into fruit over the summer. As much as we’d like instant fruit in the spring, nature doesn’t work that way. Fruit development takes time.

We are right next to the Marblemount Boat Launch and within an easy walk into town if you want to visit the local restaurants or need camping gear. Our property has five tent campsites on the river as well as a 26' glamping dome (previously used for artic research) completely painted with a galaxy of the night sky. A converted antique hay trailer turned tiny house with an 8' ceiling loft with 3-way views of the forest and river, deck, and private "magic spot" on the Cascade River.
The Lil Bit O Heaven Campground is the perfect base camp for your summer adventure! Firewood is available onsite most of the summer. Fresh, clean drinking water, permanent bathrooms and a private shower are available for all campers. An outdoor (completely private) shower is available for those who book the tiny house.
Please note that you must follow any local fire bans. Please check the fire conditions PRIOR to making a campfire.

We are located in Marblemount, WA along the Cascade river. Every site we have you can hear the river and walk to in less that 5 minutes. There is an amazing rocky beach along the river with the view of mountains all around.
We are located 4 minutes from the town of Marblemount were there is 2 gas stations with some food and drink items, propane and a small hardware section year round. Marblemount has 3 restaurants open in the summer. The town also a post office.
We are 15 minutes from the North Cascades National Park and an entrance to the Pacific Crest Trail.
We offer fire wood ($5.00 a bundle), propane fire pits ($15.00 a night, please request ahead via messaging to Heather ) and in season vegetables (price varies depending). You can pay cash or Venmo on site.
Please be aware that we have a Firework show for the 4th of July.

Deer and occasional coyotes roam the property, but rest assured, they are apprehensive of us and pose no threat.
We derive great pleasure from spending time outdoors, so you may frequently observe us engaged in fieldwork, construction, or simply relaxing in our stargazing hammock circle. We are always available to provide you with space or invite you to join us. We derive immense satisfaction from meeting new individuals and have numerous recommendations for Whidbey Island, including the delectable blueberry stand in Freeland and the Mutiny Bay Blues, a venue that we can either recommend or provide directions to.
We eagerly anticipate your visit. Fern Gully is conveniently located just a two-minute drive from the charming Greenbank Pantry. Where you can indulge in delectable sandwiches and quench your thirst with refreshing Topo Chico or a bottle of wine. For a scenic excursion, venture to South Whidbey State Park, a six-minute drive away. Where you can embark on exhilarating hiking trails along the breathtaking coastline. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, 1 gallon drinking water and instant oatmeal are supplied. corn hole, charcoal bbq (not during burn ban), picnic tables, small zip line, rope swing, tire swing, port a potty, and fire pit are all in the communal area. During burn bans a propane fire ( included) is supplied in the firepit communal area only. 4 people per spot with a 5.00 charge per night for each additional up to max 6 people per site. please go to extras for the charge pick a unit per person per night. 1 car per site 5.00 charge per car per night max 2. please pay thru the extras.

Our family had an amazing time at Hazelanna's property. It was absolutely beautiful. Right on the river with a sandy beach and surrounded by mountains. The porta pottys were situated all around the property and all very clean and well maintained. We forgot our bug spray so we asked Hazelanna if she had any available to purchase and she stopped by a little later and saved the day! Although we thought the bugs were going to be worse then they ended up being. Hazelanna was a generous and gracious host who went above and beyond. We would definitely return and not hesitate to recommend her property to others.

Otter Run is perfect for a large group with trailers and tents. Close to the river and plenty of sun! But shade available if you need it, the best of both worlds! Mostly grass so it keeps the dust down. And Hazelanna is a gracious host!

We camped at Bigfoot's Den for 3 nights and had an amazing time. We had a large group with several children. The site was large and private with ample tree coverage. We had a private quick trail to the river. No showers and bathrooms were porta-potties but there were plenty of them placed within waking distance from our site and they were very clean. The kids played and we made so many great memories. Hazelanna is extremely kind and a very accommodating host. We would absolutely consider returning and would recommend anyone else to camp at this site. Thank you!!

Rusty Ranch was our first Hipcamp and we were impressed!
Our little boys enjoyed the easy hiking trails, playgrounds and chickens, our dog bounded around the woods and meadow (with us close by) and we loved the quiet, secure camping.
The entire property was well taken-care-of and the campsites were spread out.
It's like a private state park.

My daughter, dog and I stayed at site 2 and had a great experience. Tyla is friendly and welcoming, we met the goats and chickens, got some farm fresh eggs and enjoyed the area. Swimming hole nearby is great, the Falls Creek Falls hike is incredible. The land is beautiful. The dome tent was nice and very clean and cozy.

The property is well maintained, and Tyla was accommodating of a couple things during our stay. What we found strange was there was no access to a water source that we could fill our own drinking water containers. The host offered one free gallon jug, and the rest you had to buy or bring. Our children loved the goats and chickens. It was fun to wake up to rooster crowing.

Great place for jumping off and exploring the Olympics. Beautiful large camp sites, clean bathroom/porta-potty and a very nice new shower. Neighbors rooters do get to screaming early, but host has earplugs available. This host has taken a lot of care in their property and it shows. They have thoughtfully and thoroughly described everything you need to know about the place and they have done a great deal to make it a wonderful place to camp. Teresa has many suggestions that you only get from a local. It is important to note that she does tell u that the fire is comunal so take note. All the sites are large and comfortable. You can’t go wrong here!

Our stay at Hammock Heaven was absolutely magical from start to finish! This campsite has officially become one of our all-time favorite spots, and every single person in our group was obsessed with it. The privacy and space were incredible — it truly felt like our own little hidden paradise tucked away in nature.
The river access was such a highlight and made the whole experience feel extra peaceful and special. Everything was spotless and so well cared for, which made it easy to relax the second we arrived. The host was beyond attentive, friendly, and thoughtful, and the directions were crystal clear which made getting there completely stress-free.
Honestly, Hammock Heaven deserves its name because it felt like stepping into a dreamy woodland retreat straight out of a travel magazine. We were already talking about coming back before the trip was even over. If you’re looking for a beautiful, quiet getaway- THIS IS IT

We loved camping at Cowlitz. The views are amazing, the campgrounds are far enough from each other for good privacy, and even though we didn’t do any water activities we saw lots of others tubing and paddle boarding in the river.

Easy to find. Clean porta potty. Fantastic shower. Grass is definitely tall so if you have allergies it's too early for the grass to have dried out in the spots. Loved the trees around.
