The site was perfect for us. We were there to visit our daughter in Bellingham and this provided the perfect location. Bonnie left us some delicious apples from her garden as a welcome gift. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a safe, quiet place to camp.

Second time staying here. Great little spot in a quiet location just minutes from Blaine and other towns. Room to walk the dog around. Water, sewer, electric. The description reads site 2 doesn't have power but it does now. 50A at site 1 (south) and 30A at site 2 (north). The 50A plug was kinda hidden so I labeled it. Hope that's okay. Will be back.

This was our second stay and probably not our last. Bonnie gave us some Gravenstein apples and we made two crisps out of those. It is a very short distance to the mini mart, then the road to the Semiahmoo spit has a wide shoulder for bicycling. Good fish & chips in Birch Bay.

We had a great time staying at Bonnie’s Hipcamp. The site is nice and flat, and easily accessible from the road for our 19’ trailer. We stayed here with another family and it was ideal for a group camping setup as the sites are right next to each other. The kids had a great time running around. Bonnie was very responsive to my questions and was a great host. The location is very convenient for getting to Blaine and Lynden. It’s a charming spot. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

The host let us borrow an adapter for our 30 amp which was nice and left us with some area information on the table. There was a fire ring and firewood available and a picnic table for our use. The location was good, however the road had a lot of traffic during the daytime hours.

Host was very responsive and helpful to questions. The spot is easy access off the highway and simple for a stop-through overnight. Basically in a field and the road has a bit of traffic but it suited our needs for a quick stop-over.

We had such a great time in the Pacific NW! Birch Bay / Drayton Harbor is gorgeous and a nice getaway from the busy hustle and bussle. The campsite was perfect and private. The field was great for the dogs. 🐕 🐕 We will always have great memories of our this Summer!

The Doves HipCamp was the perfect spot for our trip. We needed to go into Vancouver for a day, but didn’t want to deal with towing our trailer across the border.
Bonnie was responsive and the campsite had hookups.

We stayed at Bonnies for our last RV trip of the 2023 season. Great spot with plenty of privacy and full connections (power, sewer and water). Distant view of Drayton harbour from the campsite, close to Blaine, Ferndale, and Bellingham. As others have noted, the road nearby carries a fair amount of traffic during the day and early evening but becomes very quiet over night. We never found it intrusive or disrupting. We'll be back!

Perfect for what we needed for an overnight stay. Cute goat farm next door. Yes there is some rad noise but not bad in my opinion. All was as advertised. We felt we had a private place that was easy and convenient. Thanks!

Very peaceful and quiet site with lots of room to stretch out. Next door to a cute little goat farm. Peek-a-boo view of Mt Baker to the east and Drayton Harbor and Canada to the north. Super close to Beach Cat Brewing and Birch Bay.
Host was very responsive and easy to work with.

Had a great time staying at the Doves. Quite clean and the host Bonnie was great. The neighbor was really nice too, checked in on us to see if we needed anything. Lots of wildlife and view of the bay through the trees. Our dog loved having so much space as did we. Would definitely stay there again next time I’m working in the area.

The location, RV space, and set up was perfect! Full hook ups, a level parking pad, and large field with picnic benches and a fire pit make Bonnie's place the ideal location for anyone looking to stay in Birch Bay. My husband and I booked Bonnie's spot for a long weekend "at the beach" with our two dogs. The property was perfect for the dogs to play while we say outside and enjoyed the beautiful scenery by the fire. I would absolutely recommend booking Bonnie's land to anyone looking to camp in/around Birch Bay or Semiahmoo - none of the local RV parks can compare to this private gem! This spot is great for couples and families with dogs + kids alike.

Good location, nice space, room for maneuvering, fire ring and wood awaited along with some squash. What a treat! Only 50 amp hook up so make sure to have an adapter if you have less. We drove around for 2 hrs trying to find one. The only down side to this site is the traffic noise. It's loud and constant. We ran the fan at night to try and drown out some of the noise and that was helpful but yeah, it's allot.

Great location. Minutes to Birch Bay beaches and close to Bellingham for shopping. Bonnie the host was great with communication and had left us wildflowers and brochures for the area. We even had a pile of firewood left for us to use. Nice large field for our dog to run around. Was extra special having the place to ourself instead of a crowded camping site.. Hope it stays that way. New picnic table and custom fire pit was very nice. Having power, water and sewer hookup was perfect! Nice level site but would be great if had a bit of gravel for where we parked the trailer. Settled quite a bit over 3 nights. Need a 30 to 50amp adapter if you want to use the power. Quite a bit road traffic noise but didn’t bother us too much. We’re from the city. Would definitely return!

This is an excellent camp site smack dab in the middle of Birch Bay, Semiahmoo, and Blaine. Perfect, quiet location for a fun base camp! 50A power available and host provided a converter from 50A to 30A if needed. Water was also available and maybe sewer, but we didn’t look for the latter. There are a couple picnic tables, a fire ring, and a pile of wood was provided, as well as some cute flowers and local literature. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and it would be our #1 choice for returning to the area. Thank you!

This is a wonderful location literally just down the street from Birch Bay and the waterslides. Having full hookups was just the cherry on top, and the site has nice views out towards the field and even a peek-a-boo water view in one direction. It is right off the street, but there’s not very much traffic at all so we hardly noticed it. There are some chickens and goats next door, but the sounds were quite pleasant, muted, and added to the experience for us. The site is also easy to get into and the parking space is quite level so set up was a breeze. The hosts also left us various pamphlets about activities in the area, a little cut of wildflowers to welcome us, and a beautifully maintained fire pit with some free firewood. Couldn’t ask for more! Definitely will come back in the future.
