We loved Sarah’s property !! Easy to find , close to the places we wanted to explore and Sarah gave us great local recommendations. Her animals and farm are well kept and the grounds are beautiful - it was so fun seeing all the animals just wondering around haha. Beautiful , easy , no fuss tiny home with everything we needed. Would stay again and highly recommend
My family and I had the absolute best time. Every single person we chatted with on site was friendly and welcoming. The kids loved all the games and animals. Picking a few veggies in the garden was a treat. We didn’t have time to get in the pool, but it looked wonderful. Although the site was a little uneven, it was still easy to find a fairly flat spot to park. It was an amazing way to finish off my visitors time on the island. Highly recommend. 🩷
Thank you!
Amazing hosts that were very kind and welcoming. There was even a washroom and fridge available for use. Totally above and beyond my expectations. Lovely farm and trustful animals. Thank you so much !
Sarah was an amazing host, she was so kind and answered all our questions and needs! The animals were adorable and was a great little camping spot we even saw shooting stars!
We loved our stay and enjoyed being around the farm animals. The place was beautiful, clean and neat. The host was aslo friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend it!
The campsite is very nice and the hosts are lovely people and very helpful. The bathroom is very clean. The place is close to the road and there is a lot of traffic. It was quieter later in the evening though.
We loved staying at the Peacock Campsite on Sarah’a farm. The campsite was private and quiet. We loved having the opportunity to see the animals! Highly recommend.
The tiny house was wonderful, peaceful, relaxing, and had everything we needed! We loved the firepit in the evening and watching the farm animals during the day!! Highly recommended!
Wonderful spot with everything you need ! Bbq was great, animals were adorable, host greeted us upon our arrival and was very kind. We will come back! Thank you for the wonderful stay....and the delicious home grown blue berries !!
My family had a wonderful week at Peacock Camping. We booked the tenting campsite and the 'tiny house' which was the perfect combo for our family of six. The tiny house was our daytime HQ for meals and showering. The two generations of family who are the property hosts were outgoing in their hospitality and lovely to meet. The use of the play hall was a hit with our lads (indoor soccer, foosball, etc.) and we even watched a film on the big screen. For outdoor fun Saratoga beach is a 5 minute drive away, and we also made trips to Campbell River and to favourite spots in the Comox/Courtenay/Cumberland area only 30 minutes drive.
Really lovely place. It was raining and they offered us to sleep in the Party Hall instead of tenting. My kid was in Heaven ! Roosters and Ducks wake up at 6am though.
Had an absolute blast at the Tiny home. The hosts were friendly, kind and very communicative. Everything was clean, and well maintained.
The animals are absolutely hilarious with fun personalities. My son enjoyed seeing the baby chickens, making noises at the turkeys and watching the deer graze through.
It was quiet, relaxing and perfect for a getaway.
What a sweet little spot with fabulously welcoming host!
Stayed in the tiny home which is so well equipped for cooking a good meal. Great mattress on the pull out sofa .
Would love to have settled in to read and relax for a few days. Will definitely stay again when in the area.
This was a FANTASTIC camping experience. The hosts were beyond friendly and kind and the campsite was fabulous. A highlight for us and we are already planning on returning this fall! Cannot recommend enough!
A wonderful and fun stay at the farm. Both of the hosts were amazing. the amenities and cute animals were a bonus! Thank you. We can't wait for our next visit.
This place had no hook ups, which was perfect for us in our self-contained camper van. Lots of neat farm animals to see and waaaay better then the glorified parking lots that called themselves RV resorts. Friendly hosts and a nice quiet space to spend the night.
The tiny house was lovely and had everything we needed for comfort and cooking. There was a deck and dedicated large side yard that we loved having our coffee on. The menagerie of animals are a delight and the hosts were welcoming and friendly. As a host of an air bnb myself, I highly recommend this place and loved all the details and touches they’ve put into the tiny home. FYI the bed is a pull out couch bed.
We had soo much fun staying in the tiny home! It was modern yet still rustic with the wood burning stove. Everything you could need to make meals. Places to sit and relax and look at the animals. Would absolutely come back :)
The generosity of the hosts and the welcoming spirit of their land - both by animals wild, farm, and their caretakers - made this a wonderful experience. The tent space is spacious and private and includes a picnic bench. They have an indoor toilet and sink for campers. They let us sleep in their party hall when the rain got our things kind of wet. A nature park with trails and coastal access just half hour walk from property. Perfect for visiting Saratoga and Miracle Beach. Mt Washington and Strathcona Park just half hour drive away. We were perfectly situated.
The site itself is a lovely, treed and grassy site
The farm animals are fun to interact with and you are not far from lots of day trips
However
You are next to the road and not far from a race track that goes for a few hours on the weekends in the summer.
The facilities are flush toilet with hot running water which is great, but you feel like you are right in the owners home with a loud tv on in the next room
I would recommend it if you are on your way through to somewhere else or if you have kids you want to keep entertained
Lovely farmstay, Rebecca and Sarah were amazing hosts and offered us some freshly picked raspberries. We woke up to turkeys roaming around next to the tiny home ❤️. All in all great experience!
This was our first time using Hipcamp and it was great!
Sarah was wonderful! She met us upon arrival and was super kind. The lot was a good size, and her animals were so fun to watch! Highly recommend.
The site is absolutely beautiful, so much wildlife as well as all the farm animals. Had the best nights sleep there and we were camping. There is even a swimming pool!
Loved it so much would recommend.
