Love this place!

Enjoy this campground! Good size site, lots of greenery and views. There’s a field I could throw the ball for my big doodle. Great price. there was a note on the website about spraying your site for mosquitoes I’m guessing for a cost. I would probably look into that there were a few of those

Lots of mosquitos like all of the reviews say. Load up on mosquito repellant. We quickly went in and out of our tent though so luckily none got in the tent and we were fine while sleeping. Had a new moon during our stay and the stars were amazing. Toilet within walking distance of drive in tent sites but it isn’t the nicest. Showers and better restrooms at main wash area which wasn’t too bad. However, it did look like there was mold in the shower area. Came in after check in and went to tent sites without a problem.

Showers were nice, pretty easy layout BUT my site didn’t have a number on my reservation and I did not hear back from the host. Luckily I wasn’t in anyone else’s site when I picked at random. Due to smoke in the area and excess mosquitos we only stayed one of the two nights we were supposed to. If you decide to stay bring a mosquito net if you want to be outside at all.

This campground was very disappointing! The toilets and washrooms were so dirty, that we couldn’t use it. Every single toilet was disgusting and no one cares… The site was very loud, especially in the night.

Great place. There was an open mic stage on whilst I was there which was very unexpected but created a wonderful vibe. The site was very well kept and easy to navigate. Thankyou!

The view at the site was beautiful! However, the mosquitoes were brutal, the hosts are not very responsive in the messages. We received a phone number from one of the Janitors and we called to know our site numbers. The restroom was clean and had showering options.

No garbage facilities. Our site was too narrow for our 19 foot single axle trailer. Signage is almost non existent. It was difficult to know how to get to your site. No one was at the office at approximately 4 pm.

Electrical , showers, laundromat , private sites and an active paragliding and hang glider field nearby. Very exciting to watch the pilots airborne flying and landing their craft.. Went up on a tandem paragliding flight with Hugo and thoroughly enjoyed myself. An amazing experience and a good spot to visit

Don't arrive after dark if you intend to camp here, confusing map and layout of the campground. You can't drive into the tent site despite the listing saying "drive on tent site" and need to walk your items to the camp. Lots of mosquitos as other have said. Management is not very responsive to calls or messaging. Most annoying bit is the lack of communication in what site you have. You have to go to the office and look at where your last name is on the list, with not much clarity that that is procedure in the listing. I wish they would communicate the site you have within the hipcamp app prior😔

Perfect Base for Exploring Golden

Riverfront Campground was a great place to spend a few nights. The campground is quiet, peaceful, and surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery, making it a relaxing place to unwind after a day of exploring. The sites are spacious, and the overall atmosphere is calm and well maintained. One of the biggest advantages is its location—just a short drive from the historic town of Golden. I enjoyed walking around town, checking out the local shops and restaurants, and using it as a base for exploring Yoho and the surrounding national parks. If you're looking for a peaceful campground with easy access to Golden and the Rockies, this is a solid choice. I would definitely stay here again.

I booked last minute and arrived after office hours. . Smooth stay overall. I was unlucky with my assigned site but made it work. It’s a huge area just outside of Golden.So even if busy, it doesnt feel crowded. Washouse with showers further Away from the tent sites, but free, very clean and good water pressure.

It is not a well keep camp. Washing machine did not work. Neither did the dryers. The undergrowth needs to be cleared. No shop, it has loads of possibility if they put the effort in. And the showers with no locks need deep cleaning.

Dans l’ensemble, cela correspond à ce qui est décrit et tout ce qui est nécessaire est disponible (laundry, eau, électricité). L’endroit est bien situé comme « base » pour explorer les environs. Néanmoins : il est dommage d’arriver sur un spot à proximité de travaux (pour de nouveaux chalets ?) avec des déchets partout. Les moustiques ne sont pas de leur ressort mais il est certainement possible de limiter leur présence (abondante…) dans les cabines de douches.

The place has good potential but it behind on upkeep. Laundry: requires 3 CN $1 coins (loonies) to run the wash. Our cycle took long enough it required 3 more to finish spinning the load. The machine was locked and would not finish the load or get our laundry out without the additional coins. There is only one working drying for 4 washers. There appears to be something leaking that leaves a 7 foot puddle to walk through to enter. The washroom building IS kept clean. Our campsite (10) was a wetland. It never dried out-not even close. I’ve never camped with more mosquitoes and we will never go back there. If it hadn’t been for the hot weather we probably would have moved out into their overflow field with no hookup. The were still bad out there, but better than at our site. Tent campers beware. There are hundreds of gophers throughout the campground and fields. They are super cute, but I was glad for our trailer.

It was a good camp site. View is amazing. Host was helpful. Cleaning lady was keeping it clean as much as she could. Someone was keep stealing the toilet paper and broke the toilet seat which was very inconvenient specially with kids. The only down side for me was that Sani dump was out of order for our entire stay.

We had a gorgeous tent site in the trees. We could see the neighbors but it wasn’t a big deal. The mosquitoes were HORRENDOUS!! Would 💯 stay again!

Lots were overgrown with trees so could not open slides on both side. Had to reset 30 amps at post 3 times during our 1-night stay. No signage indicating correct roads for RV parking. Dumps station out of order - not working.
