We are located on a beautiful farm with lots of animals to see! Our property is in Black Creek, BC. We have one private site available for tent and RV/trailer campers. The site is level and grassy and it can accommodate vehicles up to 30ft in length. We provide a picnic table, wifi, and potable water. Campfires are permitted when there is no fire ban. Hi, my name is Dave. My family and I would like to welcome you to Nile Point, a secluded campsite located on 20 acres of privately owned, oceanfront property on Nelson Island, BC. I consider it the closest thing to paradise. The first you'll need to know about this property is that it's only accessible by boat. This is what makes the campsite so secluded and peaceful. Transportation to and from the island is included with your stay. The stunning 15 minute boat ride to and from Nile Point is one of the many things that makes this a truly unique experience. The second thing you'll need to know is that we offer TWO SITES on the property, a 10x16 TENT PLATFORM and a OCEANFRONT CANVAS TENT WITH ENSUITE (NEW!) with king size bed, in-tent ensuite bathroom and fully stocked outdoor kitchen with potable water, bar fridge and BBQ We have one canoe, one one-person kayak, a two-person kayak, and some paddleboards. Bring your own water exploring devices if you wish. Our beach is rocky (it ain't a sandy beach!), so bring your good water/rock shoes! This is a great place to stay and explore if you love the wild. It's off the grid, so if you want to unplug from devices and do nothing but relax or play in the ocean and explore the forest, it's perfect. That said, there is cell reception should you need it and a solar charger if you need to charge your devices. Egmont offers a pub, a fancy restaurant, and a charming convenience store with wi-fi. We can take you in to town during your stay for an additional charge of 50$ per direction. We've secured exclusive moorage at a private dock in Egmont. This is where you will park. Along the way, observe rotational grazing as it shapes the landscape: an ever-changing pattern of movement, growth, and renewal. Here, the process behind cloth begins in place: in soil, in pasture, in the care of animals, and in the rhythms of the seasons. All sites are walk-in only, preserving the quiet and integrity of the land. Guests are asked to remain within marked areas to support ongoing regeneration. Each tent is intentionally and comfortably appointed for the 2026 season while remaining fully off-grid. Please bring your own drinking water and come prepared for a more mindful, unplugged experience. The land is shared with wildlife (bears, cougars, elk, deer, and many others). A secure sea can is provided for storing all food and scented items. For those wishing to deepen their understanding, guided farm walks are offered Saturdays at 4 PM, offering a closer look at the working systems behind the landscape. To ensure the safety of guests, livestock, and working animals: - No fires - No pets (livestock guardian dogs are on site) - Do not climb or touch fences - Do not feed or pet animals Rooted in reciprocity - experience sheep Ranch camping

We absolutely loved our stay at the lovely little cabin – it was all super comfy, and exactly what we needed. It was great to have the picnic table outside. We set up our propane stove and cooked ourselves some yummy dinner and breakfast. The raspberries were ripe in the garden and super tasty! Absolutely loved the earthship tour – thank you so much Susan and Tony for a wonderful stay and for sharing your home and your passion!

Camping here was such a joyful and relaxing experience! The hosts are so welcoming, caring and most helpful. We loved the location in the woods, close to beautiful trails and a quiet beach. Taking a tour of their place added inspiration and a new perspective. As an unexpected but meaningful bonus, I enjoyed an evening full of music, strumming along with friendly and talented people. Thank you Susan and Tony! I hope we will meet again next year.

Weekend Trip to Peacock Camping (Vancouver Island)

The tiny house was lovely and had everything we needed for comfort and cooking. There was a deck and dedicated large side yard that we loved having our coffee on. The menagerie of animals are a delight and the hosts were welcoming and friendly. As a host of an air bnb myself, I highly recommend this place and loved all the details and touches they’ve put into the tiny home. FYI the bed is a pull out couch bed.

The Maple Cabin is such a sweet spot, nestled on Susan and Tony’s land with a lovely view of the trees and the sounds of songbirds. The bed was comfy and the space warm and inviting. Just a note, If you want more than a shared pit toilet, consider booking the other cabin with a bathroom.

I loved my stay at the portal! So close to the lake, perfect for a morning swim - close to town to get groceries/food, on a very quiet road (probably one of the best sleeps I’ve had in a long time). Host was kind and helpful! Would recommend for a couple or a solitary stay (would be a great place to use as a writing retreat, I will have to book again!)

3 nights at The Glamping Beachcomber

The platform tent was wonderful. Everything was thought of, bedding and furniture, cooking setup, bathroom and heated shower. We sat on the deck with the gas fire pit watching bunnies run around the field at night. The bed was comfortable. Made steaks on the bbq. There’s a grocery store 5 min drive away. It was the end of a week long camping trip and a great way to relax.

We absolutely loved the cabin we stayed at. I would definitely recommend this place for a summer getaway. Andrew and his partner were amazing and so welcoming and make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The lake was like a 3 minute walk down and had incredible views plus was amazing to swim in. Would definitely come back here again thank you so much Andrew 😄

Our stay in the Maple Cabin was very comfortable. A nice double bed with cotton sheets and a down duvet kept us perfectly warm and cozy. Susan was very kind and communicated well. She greeted us and showed us around the gardens and facilities when we arrived. It was the perfect jumping off point for our day trip to Qualicum Beach, Cathedral Grove, Tofino and Uclulet!

We loved the space and the setting. Though the Dome is set among the trees, it has plenty of light. We made good use of the sauna and fire pit! The Done was well equipped and comfy—perfect space for the two of us. The additional beds would work well if traveling with teens.
