10 minutes from the ocean and public beach, walkways and food vendors. We are conveniently located just off the Qualicum Beach 'strip' offering a perfect vacation get away. Various options for sites nestled among the trees on our 7 acre homestead. 2 sites in the woods and 1 #Vanlife nestled in a more open site along our private drive by the cabins nearest to the communal fire pit. Come visit....! Campers can visit with the hobby farm animals through the fence or with a guide. Stroll through the meandering paths and visit the horses. Love goats? They will love you! Please note that camp stoves (propane) are permitted at the campsites. If you would like to enjoy a log fire, the communal fire pit near the cabins offers an opportunity to enjoy a wood burning fire when local fire bans are lifted. Please contact the host for details if you cannot locate fire bans. Raysong is located on 7 green acres 10 minutes from public beach access on the Salish Sea, waterfront walkway with food trucks and restaurants and central to Qualicum Beach, Coombs, Bowser, Horne Lake Caves and the inland highway scenic route. The Woodland Site at Cabin and Camp at Raysong Homestead is a country campsite nestled in the heart of our forest. Located in the centre of our property, this site has the best proximity to our livestock! Tucked in behind our hay barn, this site offers a 10 X 10 raised platform and direct access to our lower trail. Wander the forest pathways, visit with the horses, chickens and goats on our working homestead! Raysong is located on 7 green acres 10 minutes from public beach access on the Salish Sea, waterfront walkway with food trucks and restaurants and central to Qualicum Beach, Coombs, Bowser, Horne Lake Caves and the inland highway scenic route. The private Rail Line Campsite at Cabin and Camp at Raysong Homestead is a unique experience tucked into the edge of the forest just steps from the old VI Rail way which offers an ideal forest walk. This small site offers a 6 X 8 foot raised platform or a small level site for your tent if you prefer. This is perfect for a party of two! We have a tent shelter that encompasses the platform if your tent has a slightly larger footprint! Explore a bit of our history! Quiet lovely farm stay

Loved newly renovated and well kept cabin, picture did not embrace all the experience you could have at the place. Warm welcoming from the host, 2 bedrooms, living room is spacious, my kids loved feeding animals every morning and evenings. Quiet night out of busy area, close to any other attractions including beaches and hiking trails. Beautiful sunset restaurant was 5 mins away( Shady Rest) , Rathtravor beach was only 25mins away. You can’t compare this place to older and busy accommodation around that area. Goats on the roof and markets are only 15 mins away as well as Cathedral grove. We would love to come back another time!!

Woodland Camp Site

The host was very kind and very communicative. They had trolleys to assist you carrying things to the campsite, and offered a few things such as soap and tarps for campsite use. The bathroom was just a bucket though, with no light or hand sanitizer, just a heads up! They had a very beautiful farmstead with baby goats, chickens, a horse, and ponies, relatively close to a beach access area. We never really saw the owners though, their son was the one to help us with our stay. One concern we had was that some of the stuff they left for our stay had been tossed around, like the toilet paper being completelt unrolled and left in a wet pile for us to find a few meters away. We cleaned up a bit, but there didn't seem to be any issue with our own belongings. We found two shards of glass on the trail, which we assumed to be from previous campers unfortunately, so also just be aware of any little ones or pets. Overall, it was a very nice area with good privacy.

Lovely homestead camp

Woodland Camp Site

Raysong is a beautiful and special place. We loved being greeted by the animals, and watching the sun rise and set through the trees. The tent spot was private and Sully was incredibly cool and responsive. Ps. The composting toilet was a first and may not be everyone’s cup of tea!

This is a cute cabin. It was comfortable and well furnished. I had a fantastic time here and will be back. This place made it to my favorites short list. The walk along the tracks was nice and is also a decent base of operations for outdoor activities.

Rail Line Campsite

The site is fairly secluded. There is a trail that goes right by, but mainly just saw the farm dog who was protecting the farm (dog kept his distance never coming closer than. 20ft). I enjoyed camping here and will likely come back to the farm to spend a couple nights in the future.

Silly was great! We got in much later than we expected and she called to check in and ended up still greeting us and showing us around. Quick trip, but a nice place to camp! Lovely to have a platform to put our tent on, so everything stayed dry.

Sully’s Place (Hobby Farm) #Vanlife

I was just looking for a save place to sleep in my car and got so much more. I was offer the Bunkhouse for the night and it was so cute and the bed was amazing. The host showed me all around the farm and introduced me to all the very friendly animals including the baby goats. We even went to a really nice coffee place near by. This is for sure one of the nicest places to stay in this are.
