We have a 7 acre developing hobby farm currently with fruit trees, a garden, a king shepherd named Jack and a cat named Lulu. You may see some of our neighbour's ducks walking around and hear their rooster in the morning. Please note; our driveway is an uphill, switchback driveway so long trailers are not a fit for our location. Front wheel or 4 wheel is a plus but typically all vehicles can make it up our driveway. We have 2 swimming holes near and backing our property. At the back of the property is Hayward Lake/Hairsine Creek which is great for swimming. Inflatable paddle boards are the way to go if you wish to paddle board in the lake since it would be difficult portaging a rigid paddle board down the Crown Land trail. On the front is the Stave River Runoff. This has trails and is ideal if you have smaller children as the water is a bit warmer and has shallow areas. There are hiking trails in the area and a beach area a short drive from the sites.

Golden Ears Glamping is a forested riverside getaway that has has two types of stays: The Cabin-like self contained suite with private entrance and your personal hot tub or the riverside self-contained Glamping Tent with seclusion and a personal 2 person tub. 1. We have a huge river frontage with a swimmable natural pond and many relaxation areas that are very private and secluded. Great for fishing for rainbows all year round, salmon in fall, and steelhead in the winter. We are so close to metro Vancouver and anywhere in the Fraser Valley so you don't need a big road trip. Glamp camping is open officially in May - earlier if we have beautiful weather. (we provide everything except your food, drinks and personal items!) Enjoy the beautiful acres right on the Chilliwack River! A wonderful family-friendly (including pets!) getaway with endless activities nearby. (no pets allowed for glamping) Our campsite is available in the spring and summer and is just 20 minutes from the city of Chilliwack, BC. We provide a fire pit and campfires are allowed as long as there is no fire ban. (then you can have a propane campfire) The sites are quite private but there will be other campers nearby. We try to keep a large amount of space between sites and some are separated by trees. We are a walk in tent only site- parking is very close, 30 second walk. We can also provide access to electricity so you can charge your phones or other devices if needed. There is no cell reception, but we do have wifi. Potable water is available. We supply natural spring water but you must bring your own jug. We live in an adventure playground! Activities nearby include hiking, white rapid river rafting, fishing, watching bald eagles, Cultus Lake water slides and adventure park, mountain biking, cold plunge and sauna retreats, and more! There is not currently a TV, but you will have access to WiFi, so be sure to bring your laptop to cuddle up and watch your favorite shows or movies in bed! The bathroom is, frankly, a fairy-sized wet room – Lucinda is economical like that. It will give you a decent shower though and we provide bath towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The toilet is flushable, and we provide RV toilet paper that is made specifically for our RV plumbing system. The water heater works well and heats up pretty quickly. However, it is a standard RV water heater which means you'll have about 5-6 minutes of hot water until it heats up again. The shower head has a stop button to control water usage while you are showering. Lastly, please do not be surprised that Lucinda is small; she is small. However, we find her to be a comfortable resting place. -Guest access- You may use the outdoor areas located directly outside of the RV but please respect the area around the adjacent private residence as off limits.

We have the absolute best time staying at Micheals cabin this past weekend. He is a fantastic host, very welcoming (He even came to us to show us a brand new chick he was keeping warm in his jacket!) The cabins are lovely, have everything you need for a comfortable stay in the woods. The local area is beautiful and we made some amazing steaks over the fire. 10/10 would recommend to anyone needing a little affordable get away!

I loved my stay in Michael's Woodland Cabin. It was the perfect blend of tiny house living and camping. The outdoor bath under the stars and short hiking trail in the forest through lush ferns and moss made my stay even more special! Perfect spot to unplug completely (or even sneak in a little work while enjoying the view of the mountains and reliable internet, to boot). Add in the easy check-in/out, quick responses to questions and friendly host means I will be back!

Weekend Trip to Raylia Cottage Farm Stay

What a perfect stay! Michele was a lovely host and the cabin was in such a beautiful, peaceful spot. I loved the vibe of the cabin, cosy with the option to make a fire (loved chopping wood), and lots of cosy dvds' and vhs's to watch on the couch. The cabin also had its own privacy (its far enough from the main house & has its own driveway) which was perfect for us. It's located in a super convenient spot too, probably the best part of the island to stay - right next to a few cute shops, coffee carts and a restaurant while still being tucked away in the woods. Also next to a lovely hike. Would highly recommend!!!

Weekend Trip to An Experience!-Golden Ears Glamping

Greg and Shelly are extremely kind and have such a beautiful home! Very clean and LOTs of appliances and fun things to do in and on the property. They had dry firewood ready for use and the hottub was hot and well kept. We had hummingbird visitors and were able to go down to the river and see salmon swimming! We used the bbq that was full of propane also. We are returning guests and highly recommend visiting! They were so generous to invite us to stay longer past the check out time as there were no guests after us so we enjoyed being able to sleep in and pack up without rushing. Very happy to be up in such a gorgeous area. Don’t hesitate to book with them!

We had an amazing stay at Michael’s place! The cabin and the bathroom were super clean and well maintained, which made our stay very comfortable. The whole property is peaceful, surrounded by beautiful nature, and you can really feel the care and love put into every detail. Michael was such a kind and helpful host — friendly, responsive, and always making sure we had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting by the fire at night, watching the stars, and just relaxing in the quiet atmosphere. It was the perfect getaway from the city, and we’ll definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

The perfect 1 night getaway from the city. We are right for money right now but we wanted to get out of the city and Michael made that possible with his accessible pricing. He provided everything we needed so packing was light. The bathtub was a wonderful addition and both of us (both 6 foot plus) could fit comfortably inside. Will recommend!

1 night at Lakewood Cabins

This was a pretty great little spot. The cabin is small, but it had a good setup with a hotplate, sink, fridge, & microwave. There was a big very comfortable mattress in the loft. The bathroom wasn’t too far away across the parking area and it was well maintained, with a flush toilet and a sink. Everything during my stay was very clean. I walked down to the lake, and it was about 10 minutes on a nice trail through the woods which meets up with the main road just before the lake. Property has a horse, goats and other animals. It’s quite a nice place, the host was very friendly and I will definitely be back in the summer.

We had a wonderful weekend getaway at Riverside Glamping. The hosts, Lisa and James were friendly and helpful without being intrusive. The site was exactly as described and all we needed to bring was food and personal items. The site itself was gorgeous and private. The yurt was beautifully done and very comfortable.
