Come camp on a 40-acre parcel backing onto crown land mountains and wake up in front of 10 acres of vineyard and a view of Okanagan Lake! There is a small cabin and two camp sites to choose from. Site 1 is best suited for tents and small campervans, less than 18' or so (though people with small trailers like tear drop campers have been fine). Site 2 has a much larger flat area that can hold RVs up to 30'. Cabin available for those that want to sleep in a cozy bed and have a warm fire :) Outhouse on the property, which is just a pit toilet. It is a working farm so will likely have various equipment around at times as well as workers at certain times of the year. You’ll likely meet our very friendly and very energetic Bernedoodle, Bernie. If you prefer to keep him out of your campsite just let us know and we can keep him closer. Otherwise, he thinks he has the run of the place! Please check to see if campfires are allowed (live in a high-risk fire zone) and firewood is available with an extra charge. If you need anything to better enjoy your stay, just let us know! Our property is located in Peachland, BC. Positioned midway between Kelowna and Pentiction, it is the perfect location to draw from both population centres and is well-positioned to act as a hub for popular wine and other agri-tourism activities. Peachland is within easy reach of over 200 estate wineries and microbreweries.

☀️ A Quiet Mountain Escape Above the Okanagan Off-Grid Retreat • 180° Panoramic Views • Complete Privacy Please note: Guests must bring their own bedding (sleeping bags, blankets, and pillows), towels, and drinking water. This isn't just a campsite. It's your own private mountain retreat. Nestled on 12 secluded acres high above Okanagan Lake, this is a place to escape the noise of everyday life. There are no neighbours, no traffic, and no crowds. Just fresh mountain air, sweeping views, and the kind of quiet that's becoming harder to find. Time moves a little slower up here, and that's exactly the point. Start your morning with a coffee overlooking miles of mountains and the Okanagan Valley. Spend your afternoons reading in the gazebo, exploring the property, or simply relaxing. As the sun sets, gather around the fire and watch the stars appear. With virtually no light pollution, the night sky is nothing short of spectacular. Although you'll feel a world away, you're still only about 20 minutes from a beautiful public beach on Okanagan Lake, making it easy to spend part of your day swimming, paddleboarding, boating, or simply relaxing by the water before returning to your peaceful mountain retreat. This isn't crowded camping. It's your own piece of the mountain. 🏕️ What You'll Enjoy 32-foot off-grid travel trailer Sleeps up to 6 comfortably Queen bedroom plus rear bunkhouse Air conditioning and propane furnace Full kitchen with microwave, stovetop, fridge, freezer, and hot water EcoFlow Delta Pro power station with 400W solar charging Spacious 10×14 covered gazebo with seating and lighting Outdoor soaking tubs filled with fresh well water (available upon request) Fire pit with Adirondack chairs Incredible 180° panoramic views over the Okanagan Valley Complete privacy across the entire 12-acre property ⚡ Off-Grid Without Giving Up Comfort The retreat is powered by an EcoFlow Delta Pro with 400W of solar, providing a quiet, clean off-grid experience without the noise or smell of a generator. You'll still enjoy many of the comforts of home while experiencing life off the grid. Lights, outlets, the water pump, and everyday essentials are all available. The air conditioner works well, but because it draws a significant amount of power, it's best used in shorter periods. The solar panel helps recharge the battery throughout the day, especially during sunny weather, so using electricity thoughtfully helps ensure there's plenty of power for your entire stay. The fridge, furnace, oven, stovetop, and hot water system all operate on propane, allowing you to enjoy reliable comfort while keeping electrical usage to a minimum. ❤️ Why Guests Love Staying Here Complete privacy with all 12 acres to yourself Stunning 180° mountain and valley views Okanagan Lake beaches only 15 minutes away Incredible sunsets and unforgettable stargazing A peaceful, generator-free off-grid experience A chance to truly unplug, slow down, and recharge If you're looking for a place to clear your mind, reconnect with nature, and enjoy the kind of silence that's hard to find these days, you'll feel right at home here. Storia Vale is a cozy young camp ground offering off-grid tenting camp sites and unique "tiny home" style outfitted stays. Get away from (some of) it all, with a quick trip into nature whilst still being close to plenty of activities and amenities! The property hosts a valley (or vale) with Clark Creek running through it. The ridgeline above offers a stunning view of the marsh and surrounding woodlands! Wildlife abounds at Storia Vale, you may encounter critters ranging from Steller's Jays, hawks, ravens, weasels, deer, moose, bears, coyotes, squirrels... and more! Located about 35 minutes drive outside of Kelowna on Rock Creek HWY 33. Approximately 7 minutes past the turn off to Big White Ski Resort. The address of Storia Vale is 9046 Painted Cliffs Private Road, lot #11. Both numbers are clearly marked by signage on the third driveway on your left after turning onto Painted Cliffs Private Road. At the start of your drive to Storia Vale, there is a sharp hairpin turn in the highway as you are leaving Kelowna. If you are unfamiliar with this highway, please do pay mind to the road signage and be cautious with speed at this section of road. There is also a section of winding uphill road on the way to Big White which is best navigated with care. Traveling east from town, once you see the turn off for Big White you'll have about 7 minutes drive remaining to get to the turn off for Painted Cliffs Private Rd. Please use caution when turning onto Painted Cliffs Private Road as it is a dirt/gravel surface and will offer less traction than paved roadways. Once you have located the driveway, you will find your camp site clearly marked. Please park your vehicle in the provided driveway space closest to your site. Please also note that there are currently NO showers at Storia Vale. Outhouses and gravity fed potable water dispensers are the only available washroom/cleaning amenities available on site.

Chute Lake Lodge

67km from Vernon · 14 sites
Make your stay with us unique. We know that everyone has their own ideas when it comes to how they want to travel, where they want to stay and what they want to explore. We are proud to offer a wide range of accommodation options to make your stay just right. The birth of Chute Lake started approximately a century ago. The combined population of Kelowna and Penticton was a mere 7,000, and the First World War was just wrapping up. A bustling new sawmill on the shore of Chute Lake had a crew of hardworking loggers thinking it was time to build themselves a place to sleep and eat. Raw materials certainly wouldn’t be an issue, located in the middle of a forest. The crews worked all day turning trees into logs. Soon enough those logs were being hauled from the mill and up a gentle slope to the proposed location of the new bunkhouse. A few years later, the Kettle Valley Railway would arrive, and the mill and freshly built bunkhouse would take on additional roles. It served as a water stop for the steam engines that pulled the passing trains. Enterprising mill workers would even sell some of the large fish they pulled from the lake to the dining carts. These were the formative years Chute Lake Lodge. Cabins have been added and in the 1980s, the central lodge building nearly doubled in size. The restaurant was added with lodge rooms above. The railway that ran directly in front was converted into one of the best cycling paths in the province.
