Welcome to our Private Riverside Retreat in Cherryville, BC. Escape to a hidden gem nestled in the heart of British Columbia’s pristine wilderness. This fully detached guesthouse offers the perfect balance of adventure, relaxation, and privacy—ideal for nature lovers, outdoor enthusiasts, and families seeking a peaceful getaway. Our cozy yet spacious guesthouse is surrounded by breathtaking mountain views and the crystal-clear waters of the Shuswap River—one of Canada’s most untouched rivers. Pets are welcome (please inquire before bringing one).Escape to a hidden gem nestled in the heart of British Columbia, close to the Monashee Mountains. This fully detached guesthouse offers the perfect balance of adventure, relaxation, and privacy—ideal for nature lovers, outdoor enthusiasts, and families looking for a peaceful getaway. Guests have access to our private beach with swimming hole and certain times of the year they may have the possibility to use the hot tub, right on the riverbank (inquire first, additional cost). It is filled with river water, no chemicals are used and it is heated by a woodstove, managed by the hosts only. Right from the guesthouse, guests have access to lots of maintained grassy trails meandering through the trees. Horses are sometimes free roaming the property, which can make for unique encounters. Close by are a number of options for exploring: Falls, lakes, logging roads etc. SAFETY: Exterior CCTV security cameras, (without audio) on property, smoke alarm, carbon monoxide alarm, fire extinguishers, steep stairs to first floor, toddler safety gate available and waterfront property. BEDROOMS AND LAUNDRY: Towels, bed sheets, soap and toilet paper are provided and washing machine available. Master Bedroom: 1 queen bed + 1 twin bed. Second Bedroom: 2 twin beds. Common Space: Can be used as a third bedroom with a queen-size bed sleeps 7 in total. Kitchen: Fully equipped with a fridge/freezer, electric cooktop, microwave, slow cooker (no oven) and essentials. Bathroom: Located on the main floor for easy access, with toilet, sink and hot shower. Heating: Main heat is woodstove, wood provided, 2 bedrooms with additional electric heater. Please note: Our property is non smoking, inside and out . The stairs to the bedrooms are steep and may not be suitable for young children or elderly guests. INTERNET AND OFFICE: WIFI available, desk available in common space upstairs, TV with Blue ray DVD, (HDMI cable provided to connect your own device). LOCATION: Parking available for free, backyard with patio set, private beach access and access to walking trails on property.

Lovely Cabin retreat!

Riverside Guesthouse

we had such a lovely time here! the cabin was gorgeous and well appointed and the property was stunning. the hot tub is absolutely worth it - its set up right along the river in a spot that is quiet and relaxing with just the sound of the river. we will absolutely be back!

Riverside Guesthouse

We had an amazing stay over the New Year and absolutely loved this place. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, thoughtful, and attentive, and the tour of the guesthouse and property was a great touch. The property is stunning and the guesthouse was larger than expected, which was a lovely surprise. The wood fireplace created the coziest vibe, but the real highlight was the wood-fired hot tub — tucked into the forest beside the rushing river, surrounded by fairy lights and total quiet. Cold dipping in the river and then warming back up in the tub was pure magic! Meeting the horses and dogs was also a bonus, and the location is the perfect balance of feeling remote while still being close to town. We’d happily return and highly recommend this place to anyone!

Riverside Guesthouse

We had an amazing stay with Peter and Renske! They were very welcoming and made us feel right at home quickly. The guesthouse was very clean and had everything we needed for our weeklong visit. The atmosphere is so relaxed and the hot tub was a perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. Highly recommend staying with Peter and Renske!
