We are centrally located on the Sunshine Coast (only a 40-minute ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay) on a spectacular 10-acre property. We run a small, organic farm and host guests in intriguing tiny homes and glamping tents. We have everything from a converted schoolbus with a woodstove, to gorgeous campsites in the woods. Check out our micro cabins, glamping tents, and campground. Our property is a nature oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Just 20 minutes north of Sechelt, we're close to beaches and lakes. Enjoy our recreation area with a large pond, our small playground for young kids, and our blooming orchard with several small ponds. Explore our walking trails, peak at our seasonal waterfall, or sit in one of our many picnic table or campfire areas. Tiny Secrets is fully family-run by your hosts Kito and Fiona. Our cozy glamping school bus offers a truly unique stay, set next to the forest with a spectacular ocean view. This converted “schoolie” combines comfort and creativity with a peaceful, natural setting. Inside, bamboo flooring and warm wood accents create a welcoming space. The bus features a very comfortable queen-sized mattress with ample storage underneath. A cozy loveseat faces the ocean view and can accommodate a young child for sleeping if needed. A movable desk positioned toward the view provides a comfortable workspace with reliable internet via Starlink, making it a great spot for reading, working remotely, or simply enjoying the scenery. Please note that the interior ceiling height is 5’10”. The fully equipped kitchen includes two convection hot plates, a toaster oven, and a small fridge with a freezer, along with the essentials needed for preparing simple meals. For comfort in all seasons, the bus includes a wood stove as well as an electric oil-filled heater for colder weather. The loft ladder hooks onto the bookcase, leading you to the charming loft bed. The double bed, little window for evening airflow, and sloped ceiling make this cozy loft truly magical. Great spot! Can see a little ocean and a little mountains in the horizon. Love this campground! Def need a little clearance and potentially a 4x4 for this campground. Worth it. Fiona is FANTASTIC and the woods around the camp are lovely! Plus there’s a rustic remote hike to some waterfalls from camp that are def worth it!! ❤️❤️

Glamping Tent in the Woods

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our Second Year at Tiny Secrets Retreat — and We Can’t Wait to Come Back! This was our second year coming to Tiny Secrets Retreat, and once again, it did not disappoint! This place truly feels like a peaceful little sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of the city. One of the things we absolutely love is how easy and relaxing the experience is. We can simply bring our own food and everything else is supplied for us. It takes so much of the work and stress out of camping while still giving us that wonderful feeling of being away in nature. It’s the perfect escape when you just want to unplug, slow down, and breathe. We stayed in the glamping tent, which was lovely. We did have a bit of a run-in with some very persistent raccoons during our stay, but what really stood out to us was how quickly and thoughtfully the hosts responded. They immediately moved us into the convertible bus, and WOW! What an incredible cozy space! It was absolutely phenomenal and gave us the restful, comfortable stay we needed. The hosts’ customer service is exceptional. They genuinely care about their guests and go above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable and having a great experience. That kind of hospitality makes such a difference. After the craziness and hustle of city life, Tiny Secrets Retreat is exactly what we needed .... a place to relax, recharge, enjoy nature, and simply do nothing for a while. We left feeling rested and refreshed, and we’re already looking forward to coming back again next year! Thank you for another wonderful stay and for taking such great care of us. ❤️ Michael & Sherri

Micro Cabin with Deck in the Woods

The micro cabin was thoughtfully designed and had all the basics we needed for a comfortable stay. Loved the indoor-outdoor vibe with the big covered porch. Kito and Fiona were responsive and flexible as we adjusted a portion of our stay. Would definitely stay again!

Truck Camper Parking Site #3

We booked this campsite thinking it was going to be a nice setting, nestled amongst trees and on a hill. We drove up a steep dirt road to see it a day earlier and it was nothing like we saw in the pictures. The road was hilly (as we were forewarned) with tight corners and the camp site was less than desirable. We turned around and went to provincial park which was very nice and had showers and toilets.

We stayed at campsite #6 and it was huge! It was so beautifully tucked into the woods that you feel like you are the only ones there. We were there for labor day weekend and one of the bathrooms were closed so there was one for the campers but everytime I went there, the bathroom and shower were available. There must be a yellow jacket nest nearby as there were a lot of them in our camp zone, I would definitely bring a gazebo or cover of some sort to make eating a bit more pleasant. The kids and I loved it though

Hidden Hemlock Campsite #5

Tiny Secrets was a great spot to camp and relax in. Our second time here and we will be back again, hopefully before long. Owners are very responsive, the sites are well laid out, it’s far enough of the beaten track to feel tucked away but still close to all the fun adventures on the Sunshine Coast.

We loved our time on Kito & Fiona’s land. We had a lovely, rugged spot to park our Jeep with rooftop tent. We were surrounded by blackberry bushes, wild lilac bushes and birdsong. It was quiet and private, and Fiona was so helpful in creating a wonderful stay. The property is lovely, and Kito & Fiona are both kind and friendly. We look forward to coming back!

We had a great stay at the Tiny Farm. The shower & composting toilet were very tidy and well stocked with TP & tiny soap bars. The pump sink outside was a nice touch. The hosts were easy to communicate with and the tent platform was awesome for keeping our tents out of the wet dirt.

After plans changed last minute during our trip on the Sunshine Coast, I was happy to find this place! We had the RV site and an extension cord was waiting so we could have power. It was so quiet here and a welcomed change after staying in big public campgrounds. Thank you Kito and Fiona for the peaceful stay!

Charming Peacock Micro Cabin & Loft

My wife, myself and two boys aged 7 and 9 loved the Peacock Cabin. It's super cute and has the privacy we wanted. We didn't need anything more than what was already there, and we cooked breakfast and dinner throughout the 3 night stay. The location is perfect. Just a few minutes from the General Store in Half Moon Bay. Thank you so much for a beautiful stay. We will stay again next year.

A lovely place to camp! It’s very expensive if you’re just renting a tent pad but overall a lovely site and very well located. Would recommend the General Store at Halfmoon Bay for a nice coffee/sandwich shop. Thank you for having us!

Very nice and communicative hosts. The tent sites are reasonably appointed, albeit fairly close together. Shared shower and composting toilet worked fine. A very nice option for a camp-out.

Very basic camping for the price. Water for washing hands at outhouse not available in the evening. Unfortunately they implemented a fire ban the same evening as we arrived which was a disappointment for my son, although understandable given the worry about fires across the province

Tiny Secrets is a little slice of paradise off the beaten path yet still in a great location! We were minutes to Halfmoon Bay, Smugglers Cove and Sechelt among many other great spots! We loved the campsite which provided sun, shade and lots of privacy. It’s just you, the birds and the squirrels and a lot of peace and quiet!

Wayfinding a challenge. Main site map in campground does not include all campsites. This map should be updated. One site was not marked which resulted in mistaken site selection for our tent. Tent was removed next day with no communication from hosts. We returned and repositioned the tent for the night and left a day early. Minimal toilets for size of site due to toilet closure. A lot of this could be avoided if host walked the property to insure guests were well established as we experienced on other properties. To their credit they reached out on day of arrival through app but cell reception challenging on Sunshine Coast at times so not a guarantee guest can connect. We replied next day but then found tent removed with no word from hosts.

The property had lots of greenery which provided some privacy between sites. It's a bit rustic driving in and around, but lends to its charm. Unfortunately there were some late night social groups not particularly observing the posted Quiet hours. That's not on the hosts -- they were quite responsive to any requests before and during our visit. I would definitely come back again.

When we initially arrived there were a few small hurdles: someone else was set up in our site, there did not seem to be adequate parking, and our campsite was not actually labeled. But the caretaker was able to provide a quick solution and everything was fine in the end. The platform was great to camp on, kept our tents dry and clean. The compost toilet near us was broken so there seemed to only be one for several sites. A bit inconvenient (especially when they ran out of wood shavings). Overall a very enjoyable stay.

Micro Cabin with Deck in the Woods

We enjoyed our stay at this charming micro cabin! It was equipped for basic cooking needs and we appreciated being able to have a window that could open onto the deck so that we could expand into the patio space. Space was clean and steps away from the outhouse and outdoor shower (also had a urine toilet inside the cabin that we opted not to use). A very quiet spot, hardly saw anyone while we were there. Great spot to get away from the crowds and relax if you're looking for a rustic spot with some glamping opportunities. Depending on personal driving abilities and comfort levels, I would recommend 4WD/AWD to access the place as the road was quite narrow and rougher than I expected it to be; our 2WD vehicle struggled a bit in sections. I would stay here again!

Clean toilet, and showers. The maps, and signage could use updating, we did 3-4 rounds trying to find our site. The road on site was very narrow and uneven. The tent pads could use some work. Other than that the site was great. It was nice, quiet, and isolated from other sites. Id definitely come back.
