Our stay at the Goats and Boats camp site was great. Despite the land being quite wild and riddled with Rv’s, pallets and bunnies… we felt quite at home. And received a very warm welcome. The goats are definitely a highlight! The only downside was a walk to the outhouse. But surprised to see running water and a heat lamp! Will be going back.

My kids LOVED the end of the road campsite and farm .... Brandalyn and Jesse are so friendly and welcoming and invited the kids to help with feeding the animals too! Access to wifi and drinking water was a huge plus too

Meadow Down the Road
Brandy and Jesse were super welcoming. They came out to say hello when we first arrived, took us on a tour to see all their animals once we were settled in. Our daughter loved meeting the goats, bunnies, ducks and pigs on their property. Their property was quiet and our spot was secluded from their house, making it feel very private. It was perfect for a quick overnight camp before we headed home early the next day

Brandalyn is a welcoming & hostpitable, the goats are cute as all get out, and the land is nice. The sound of the wind through the poplars is calming, and we heard a great horned owl calling.
The site is pretty be a basic but it's a good distance from the other one and from the house.

The host was extremely nice and friendly! My favourite part was meeting the goats!! They are soooo adorable, I had no idea goats were so sweet and friendly. I didn't feel comfortable going to the bathroom during the night because it was a bit too far from the campsite (I stayed at the end of the road site). Overall, it was a fine camping spot and the goats made it well worth it.

I loved staying at Brandalyn and Jesse's hipcamp, it was our very first trip with HipCamp and our hosts couldn't have been more hospitable. Loved the property and loved the animals, highly recommend!

Easy going atmosphere and super friendly host. Directions were clear and easy to follow. Close to Coombs but far off the highway (no traffic noise). Our 8 y/o gives it two thumbs up and a 5 star review.

Nice spot, if you like cute animals this spot is for you! (Plus it’s very close to Goats on the Roof which I would recommend you check out) Fair warning the road to the end of the road is a little bumpy. There is no set spot for a tent but with our air mattress we had no issue. PS there was running water in the outdoor toilet!!

Brandalyn and Jesse were extremely kind and friendly people. We spent one night at the end of the road and it was a wonderful experience. The spot is very private but still convenient to get to the outhouse. The goats were absolutely adorable. Super peaceful and great experience. Great spot to stargaze as well. Would love to stay again in the future!

This place is AMAZING!! We loved all the animals in particular. The goats won my sons heart while the bunnies stole mine! The site was great and l the location is a perfect home base if you’re looking to explore the island. The hosts are so genuinely warm and welcoming. I can’t thank them enough for sharing their little slice of heaven with us. We will definitely be back again!

We loved camping at the end of the road spot! It was very peaceful and private with sunny and shady areas. Jesse was a kind and welcoming host. His land is a great basecamp for exploring the area. As an added bonus, we got to hold a baby goat that had been born earlier that week! :)

I would recommend staying here! It was a very quiet location with cute animals! The hosts were very friendly and helpful. 10/10. I will be booking this campsite again if I need to stay in the area in the future.

Although our stay was very very brief, we enjoyed the peaceful surroundings! Frogs croaking and stars overhead made for a very relaxing evening. In the morning we met Jesse, who was welcoming and introduced us to some of the animal friends. We were grateful to have had a nice private slice of land to visit and would stay again.

We had a great time camping at this site! The hosts were kind, communicative and generous. When we ran out of wood they offered us some scrap wood to keep the fire going. 10/10 would return/ highly recommend. :)

We enjoyed staying at Jesse and Brandalyn's place. The directions to find their spot are clear and the site was tucked into the woods. Lovely to wake up to the birds, I'd recommend it!

We had a lovely private stay, the outhouse was extremely clean and modernized which is a lovely comfort to have when you are staying far from home. The hosts were really friendly, helpful and gave us a lovely tour of their assortment of animals. Our stay was short and sweet, we will definitely be back! Bonus was meeting the cute baby rabbits!

Lovely site - hosts were friendly and helpful. Site was a little muddy, but conditions were reasonable for mid-November! Goats were adorable and definitely a highlight.

Nice wide open space for tenting, could probably park a large RV. Owners gave us a tour of the farm and we met a one day old baby goat and got to hold some young rabbits as well. Definitely would recommend!

Jesse and Brandalyn place is fabulous! We loved every minute of our short stay! Facilities are simple and perfect for a comfortable night. Clean toilets, water and WiFi are the usual helpful amenities - the goats, rabbits, duck, pigs and deer were added extras and made this lovely place truly unique! Jesse and Brandalyn were friendly, welcoming and chatty. Jesse came and got us in the evening to tell us one of the goats was giving birth and they kindly let us in the pen to watch the whole thing! What an experience!! Thank you so much! Will recommend to anyone and definitely be back if we’re every back this way!
We didn’t have our kids with us but definitely recommend staying with kids!!

We had fun staying at Boats and Goats. Jesse’s friends welcomed us in and showed us around. There is a large open area to camp, tables and chairs, swings, and a trampoline. The animals (goats, rabbits, pigs, and ducks) are adorable and the mini outhouse is clean. There are clean water on site too. Overall we had a great time!
