Shaped by behemoth glaciers that carved out the land over 10,000 years ago, Colville National Forest is a gorgeous treasure spanning 1.1 million acres (props to President Theodore Roosevelt for saving it). The lands include a number of geographic features including the Kettle River, upper reach of the Columbia River and the Selkirk mountain range, which is considered to be at the foothills of the Rockies. Residents (including several Native American tribes) and visitors enjoy camping, nearly 500 miles of hiking trails, mountain biking, lakes, rivers and some too legit to quit wildlife including grizzly bears, cougars, bald eagles and the last remaining herd of caribou in the US. That was almost starting to sound like an indie music festival lineup! Did we mention it’s an inspiring place? So much so that close to a million smackeroos was recently rewarded for continued restoration projects. Check the forest website for alerts and advisories.

ESTABLISHED IN 1912 This 4th generation grass valley floor at sea level includes views of Mt. Baker & Rainer. Surrounded by retired culinary herb fields and planted cow corn to the west. Summer includes herds of heifers ranging the north. Minutes to amenities in "Old" town Duvall and swimming holes on the Snoqualmie River. Our family has lived and worked this farm since 1912. Originally the fields were used to grow peas (1940's), dairy (1950-1960's), black angus (1970-1980's), hogs & dairy replacement heifers (1990's) & fresh culinary herbs for the grocery stores (last 20 years). Every year our fields flood and hold at least 3 feet of water, hence we only offer seasonal camping. The property has held events from town picnics in the 1930's, hoedowns in the 70's and a traveling circus in the 1980's. It is perfectly located 1 minute to Duvall and 25 minutes to Redmond. Easy access to Woodinville, Monroe, Carnation, Fall City, Snoqualmie & North Bend.

We will be opening up the 1st of MayAnd I hope to have more pictures and sites posted before April ends so you Can reserve your site. If you camped with us last year we moved just down the road. Closer to our beach more private no road noise bigger sites on 102 acres. The waves will be the only noise you hear at night. We are still located near all the popular places to visit. And our private beach is just down the road from our campground. You might have seen "Private Beach Front" Property campground on hipcamp that is our property too.

We are a working permaculture farm community that thrives on diversity, beauty, health, and resilience. We have created a conscious farm and forest ecosystem to host people, friends, family, and biodiversity. It also encompasses a homestead we operate towards productivity, resource abundance, water harvesting, social capital, and craftsmanship. You may find us here - havnhill.org We manage our landscapes and gardens for aesthetics, supreme health, smart design elements, ease of use, and maximum function. Tiny house building is our newest long-term endeavor. There are many tiny homes on the property Nursery cultivation is another element we are excited about and committed to. Hosting gatherings and ceremonies is another priority for our collective community. We have high work ethics and aspirations and aim to create an epic scene for all to enjoy. Update: In the past we have had a lot of projects happening, including construction based ones. We have incurred some bad reviews and unsatisfied customers as a result. We have now completed everything and the camping experience will be without interruption or trouble. New locations and systems are online to ensure you have a great experience.
