This site has a bit of it all.. You find your camp away from the other sites, you’ll follow a fun little road that opens up to a view that stops you in your tracks. Perched about 110 feet above sea level, you can hear the waves below and take in sweeping views of the Strait. Sit among the tops of maple trees, look down into the creek below, and settle in for sunsets that seem to go on forever. The site itself is spread out, offering extra space and additional parking—perfect for larger groups or anyone bringing extra gear. You’ll have access to 102 acres to wander and explore, giving you plenty of room to enjoy the outdoors. Our private beach is just a short walk or a quick one-minute drive down the road. When visiting, please enter on the right side (creek side) at the end of the road, as the left side is reserved for a private campsite. Parking is available near the beach and at the top of the last hill if you prefer to drive. The walk down is easy, though the return is slightly uphill. Located in the heart of Olympic National Park, this site puts you close to it all. Lake Crescent and Lake Sutherland are just 10 minutes away, while the Elwha River and Salt Creek are about 15 minutes out. Lyre River is right next door, and Sol Duc Hot Springs and many other destinations are within a 30-minute drive. You can also walk the beach to the river mouth, visit nearby Murdoch Beach, and search the shoreline for unique round rocks and fossils. https://www.hipcamp.com/en-US/land/washington-private-beachfront-mxvhy2on

Tucked into a cozy spot, this site is a great fit for small groups looking for a simple, flexible setup. There’s space for up to two medium tents and two vehicles parked right on site, making it easy to settle in and spread out just enough to feel comfortable. This site really shines for camper vans and pop-up campers under 25 feet. You can park your rig and still have room for a second vehicle, or swap that extra parking space for additional tent space if you’re coming with more campers. Keep in mind, it’s a snug setup when fully occupied with two vehicles, so tents should be small to medium in size. Larger RVs, fifth wheels, and travel trailers won’t be a good fit here. It's Beautiful getaway with a private beach just 1 minute down our driveway. Just below Weekend Warriors. There is a private campsite down there at the end of the road to the left. So we ask if do visit the beach please enter it to the right on the creek side. There is parking down at the bottom and also to the right on the top of the last hill before the beach Labeled parking. It's such a short distance you could easily walk down. But the walk back to camp is slightly up hill. We are right in the heart of the Olympic National Park with both Lake Crescent and lake Sutherland just 10 minutes away. The Elwa River and Salt Creek are 15 min down the road from camp. Lyre River conservation area borders our property. And the mouth of the Lyre is a 10 min walk down the beach. iMurdoch beach is also a 5 min drive. Our beach has round rocks fossils, agates.
