Some call it the “Seal sanctuary of the Strait!” This stretch of coast line accessible only from the PRSRV is also home to otters, whales, crabs, eagles and more! Explore the miles of uninhabited beaches boasting some of the best fossil hunting on the Olympic Peninsula! In addition to the natural wonders of the PRSRV, we offer private, comfortably separated, sites that can accommodate tents/ Vans up to 22ft. Each campsite features its own ~10x10 tent pad, fire pit, parking spot, and amazing views of the Strait! Eagle Landing
Eagle landing was a beautiful campsite. Probably the best campsite I’ve ever stayed in. Private and primitive I’m excited to see this campground grow. The sauna was amazing and the location on the beach is beautiful. I hope to bring my kids back here one day and maybe stay in the tiny home to enjoy the hot tub. Can’t wait to be back!

Forest Den
I ended up staying at Forest Den and it is the most amazing car camping spot with the most beautiful view and a nice little private space nestled in the trees and ferns for a tent. It was so nice there I spent the first day at the campground, went for an early morning walk on the beach and most unusual conical rocks … Definitely put on your list for next summer!! Ian was a great host and his dog Fin is super cool dog running the campground oh yeah I saw eagles and seals it was really nice!!!

Spruce Hangout
Camping with Infrared Sauna!
We loved the camping area and the property. Sauna was fantastic after the heavy rain and Shevy was really helpful to show us the property despite our arrival time (9:30?). The floating tent was a little slanted. I was very comfortable but my husband had to stop from rolling down. We would love to try other lodging option next time- maybe the cabin.

Strait Overlook
Hidden gem!
Ian’s property was beautiful, super quiet and peaceful and had some really thoughtful and surprising touches…sauna, community kitchen area, axe throwing and more! The site was nice and flat for our camper van with great views….we even spotted a few seals lounging on the rocks. Property and facilities were very well maintained. We had the pleasure of meeting Ian and learning a little more about him and his vision for the land. He was super welcoming and shared lots of great info on the area. Path to the beach was great, a little muddy and steep/slick at the bottom but not hard to navigate with the handy rope railing. Oh, and the tiny house was beautiful!! Would definitely stay here again!! Others have mentioned the road in is steep, which it is but we didn’t have any issues getting in or out with our VW camper van even in the rain.

Strait Overlook
Relaxing spot by the water
Great view and a level spot for a campervan. Close to the beach and outhouse (which was very clean!) it’s just a tricky drive down from the road so be careful. It’s quite a steep downhill descent and you definitely don’t want to do it in the dark.
