We had a great one night stay at Carmen and Roberts. They stopped by to say hi but we had no problem finding where to camp. We loved saying hi to the longhorns, playing with the horseshoes, and the little washroom and spigot were perfect for cleaning up our mud loving kiddos. Thank you so much!

Parked my truck camper there, it was lovely and quiet in a country setting. They have a cabin and a large tent to stay in too. Beautiful area. Carmen was friendly and helpful.

Location was nicely located a short distance outside Tillamook. The cabin was nicely done on the inside. The fire area, picnic table, and gas grill were all nice extras. If you have a phobia of spiders, this is not your place. Other than that, it was fantastic and I would definitely recommend it.

We loved this spot. Carmen came right by and let us know the history of the area and the story behind the long horns. The whole campsite as well appointed with camp spots that are flat, great fire pits, nice tables. Getting to the river is easy and there’s plenty of space for blankets and lawn chairs. If you have a big group I recommend grabbing all the spots that they have and making a fun party of it!

This is a great spot! Right next to the water, plenty of space to spread out. They had an awesome fire pit with comfortable wooden benches, a picnic table, a horse shoe setup and a bathroom with a hot shower. Perfect!

The host was super nice! The yurt definitely felt like camping and was a little chilly at night. Also, you should know the shower/toilet was more like an outhouse / compost toilet. The cows were really cool! Although on the whole I don’t think the spot was worth the price charged.

Glamping at Wunderlust
I loved this tent glamping space at Carmen's!
Super cozy tent with a queen bed that was super comfy! We liked using the bbq and being by the river. They have some longhorn cattle that you are near and you can hear them, but honestly, I took great photos of them especially as the sun was setting! The outhouse was clean and hot water! We absolutely had a fun time! Carmen was super nice and her husband too. The lights come on outside the tent when you go out in the dark. I highly recommend this. Bring floaties and when the river is higher bring your kayak or paddle board.

Camping w a roof & comfortable bed!
Lovely land. They met us as we arrived on a very windy, very beautiful full moon night. Explained the lanterns, solar lights etc.
We were so grateful to have the roof over our heads because of the wind. The queen bed was quite comfortable & there was room on the floor for our 2 single air mattresses when we moved the chair, little table, & couch aside.
The next morning in daylight we saw dozens of cattle right outside the cabin, the river, and the extent of the property. Unfortunately, it was still very windy so couldn’t take advantage of the location as much as we would like.

Absolutely lovely stay! I have to admit being a little worried when I saw the outside of the cabin (it just looks like a utility shed when you drive up haha) but the inside was so nicely appointed! If the person staying at the tent site had been throwing a wolf party that would def have ruined the peaceful vibe for us, but luckily they were quiet as a mouse :) The River and the cattle being so close was really awesome. Will def be back!

LOVED THE SERENITY & COWS!
my kids and I stayed here and we will stay again! So cute and fun. The little cabin is cozy- a great way to be in nature but a little upgrade from a tent. The river is right behind the cabin- my 2 & 5 year olds LOVED playing in the water. The river was shallow and safe during this time of year so they coulc play and throw rocks and have fun! They loved feeding the cows grass- they are right there next to the cabin. The shower was nice and warm and the outhouse clean. The firepit was the highlight for my littles- they loved making s'mores. The bed was sooo comfy! a great little retreat. it was quiet and secluded. We went into town and hit up the Tillamook cheese factory and Blue Heron Cheese factory. Blue Heron was amazing and cute and had a wonderfully cute candy factory. Thank you to Robert and Carmen! this is a hidden gem.

This is THE spot to stay near tillamook. Nestled between a babbling brook and longhorn cows is the perfect camp spot. Clean facility, great host, unbeatable location. Would go out of my way to stay here if passing by the area.

We booked both the cabin and the second campsite. Carmen and Robert were incredibly hospitable and responsive! I had a large group and it took some coordination. They were very helpful answering my many questions and helping us figure out solutions for trash, etc. thank you so much for hosting us! Also loved meeting Rosie, their adorable and super friendly bulldog.

Super nice place and super nice hosts! We enjoyed visiting the beach and also wading in the river. The longhorns are AMAZING and so mellow. Awesome to have water available and HOT shower. We would definitely stay here again.

Camping with the herd.
We pulled in with our van equipped with a bed. The fire was enjoyable with the sounds of the river flowing near the campsite. In the morning, we watched as a doe and her two fawns walked right by our campsite in the river. On the other side of our site, a number of Texas Longhorn cattle grazed. The accommodations were absolutely sufficient.

This is an amazing property. You can tent camp, there's a cabin and a 3rd spot with a yurt. The tent spot is next to the cabin seperated by small trees and brush so there is privacy but not much noise suppression between sites.
The yurt is further away from the other 2 spots and although all 3 have access to the river the yurt site has the best. Will be staying there the next time we visit.
Only met one of the hosts, Bob I believe. He was very nice and welcoming. We were not disturbed at all during our stay.
It was so quiet and peaceful with just the sounds of the river at night and an occasional moo from the longhorns. The nearest road is quite a ways away and not a very busy one. We could just barely hear traffic every once in a while and was very faint.
During the day there was some tractor truck noise on the other side of the river but not bad and occasional engine noise from the other side of the farm but nothing I would consider even a little bothersome.
Camp site had 2 tables, a small fire pit and 4 bench chairs. Very few insect friends, some occasional wasps but they were not aggressive and were more interested in the wood benches than our food.
There is an enclosure with a pit toilet and a camp shower that works really well. If you like a hot shower you will find one here. Also, surprisingly not very smelly at all for a pit toilet. Surprisingly the whole area smelled quite fresh despite the field of longhorns right next door.
Really this place is amazing!

Great spot with river views
Such a cute spot! There are 3 sites: one for tent, a small metal framed cabin and a yurt/tent. All three sites have gorgeous views of the river adjacent as well as the longhorn cattle field on the other side. There are picnic benches at each site and a metal fire pit. There’s one shared vault toilet with a makeshift shower inside: nothing too fancy, but the befits of having a hot shower while camping are not to be taken lightly! Make sure to bring shower shoes or flip flops. There’s a hose outside you can use, so bring hand soap and sanitizer! After walking the property I think the third site the yurt/tent is the best option to reserve. You have to walk a smidge further for the toilet, but it’s a little more secluded and has direct access to the River. The river has many shallow points, so I’d suggest bringing a float and anchoring yourself for a relaxing afternoon. Firewood is available for purchase, but it’s a little more pricey than the store, which is fair. The owner was welcoming and made sure to stop by shortly after we arrived to see if there was anything else we needed. Only a few bugs were present which was a huge bonus not dealing with mosquitos or swarms of bees! The coast is a quick drive and so is Freddy’s if there’s anything you forgot. Great experience!

On the river near Longhorn cattle!
This is beautiful lush land away from roads, situated on a river next to a cattle pasture. There is only one rustic camp site with tables and chairs and fire pit. Also along the river is a primitive cabin approximately 150 ft away. and a beautiful glamping tent within a short walk.
