Camp at your own private oasis! Welcome to the Lookout at Mayfield Lake, a nine acre private retreat with panoramic views of Mayfield Lake. The site includes a 23' stationary Airstream (2008 era), a 16' dome, six Adirondack chairs, a picnic table, outdoor barbecue, outdoor shower, laundry, and is fully fenced. The site is completely private and surrounded by abundant wildlife including a pair of eagles that frequent the property. Perennial gardens surround the property. Lake access <1 mile away.A private glamping retreat perfect for getaways and get-togethers. You’ll have the entire site to yourself, including an Airstream, 16' dome, and stunning lake views from multiple seating and dining areas with two fenced areas for dogs, tents and privacy. The Airstream, Spud, comes packed with everything you'll need from bedding to cookware. The site also includes a 16' all-weather dome to extend the outdoor living space. Plus an outdoor shower, propane chiminea firepit and seating area, on-site laundry and a porta potty for tenters. The property: the site includes several seating areas to capture the views of lake. There's a 1/2 acre fenced that can accommodate several tents with a nearby porta potty. There's two firepits: one massive wood burning boulder firepit, and another propane chiminea to use during burn restrictions. Other amenities include a state park style charcoal grill, picnic table, a cedar outdoor shower, on-site laundry with washer and dryer, and vegetable garden beds. Sleeping: the Airstream has two beds and can sleep three via a folding dinette that turns to a queen bed and a full size bed from the main area bench. Bedding includes Pendleton quilts, blankets and cotton bed sheets; there's also an extra camp mattress for the main bed. There's a folding outdoor daybed in the dome that can also be used for sleeping and sleeps one comfortably. The site also includes space for additional tent camping. Airstream features: fridge/freezer, sink, bathroom including full-size shower, cooking utensils, cookware, drinkware, two burner stovetop, electric hot plates, toaster, keurig maker and kcups The dome: the dome is set-up as a flex space including two bistro table sets, a folding outdoor daybed that can also be used for sleeping, and floor seats. The dome is solar powered with electrical power and AC. Nearby lake access: There’s a local put-in for kayaks and fishing directly below the property (.5 miles) as well as a public boat launch and park at the Ike Kinswa State Park (.8 miles). Rife Lake is about 15 min from the property. Cell service: the property has decent coverage for most carriers The site sits on a bluff overlooking Mayfield Lake with areas of steep slopes. Trails and paths are constructed of gravel and crushed rock.
