This is a gorgeous park-like RV campground situated between the trees of the arboretum. NO TENTS, please. Also we have NO PUBLIC RESTROOMS. Beautiful view of the mountains and forests here in western Washington. We are close to Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Rainier and several lakes.
There are walking trails all around the site. The 12 acre campground is located on a 136 acre property that is an active Christmas tree farm. Trails continue throughout the tree farm.
Many trails have a view of the Tilton River, which can be reached via a challenging 3/4 mile trail. Sites are on 12 acres planted with many different species of trees that are about 30 years old. Giant Redwoods, Cedars, and Maples are just a few of the varieties present. Part of the farm is still a working Christmas tree farm.
The trails are wide and grassy. The old logging road that we use as a trail to the river has an elevation change of about 500 feet, the trail can be quite challenging. Bear Creek empties into the Tilton river at the end of the trail.
There is an ART GALLERY where you can see the host's artwork and purchase a piece if you wish. Originals and prints are both available. This is upstairs through the check-in entry area lobby. Tilton River Studio Gallery.
Three sites have electrical hookups. Every site has a water spigot (use a pressure regulator if you want to hook up). No restrooms or sewer hookups. Garbage disposal site (dumpster) available Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Campers in site 6 and 7 can walk through the woods on maintained trails to access the porta potty or drive back out to the main driveway. The sites are large and spaced out.

Our rental property was once a mini Rail Road with full size locomotive's, train cars, pumper cars and more. My dad & grandpa layed all the tracks & put together the buildings in the 1970's. We offer some of the most beautiful scenery in western Washington. Here you will find the peaceful quiet of being "away from it all", yet in reality you are only a little over a mile from the local grocery store, restaurants, and gas stations along Hwy 12 in Randle.
We have 20 spacious sites on 70 acres, bordered by the Cowlitz River in Randle, WA. We are centrally located between Mt. Rainier, Mt. St. Helens, and Mt. Adams. Since we are not open for public entry, you can feel safe leaving your camp set up while you take day excursions.
We have dry camping ONLY. There is a spigot for water at the gate, but no water or electricity hookups at any of the sites. This year (2026) we are expanding almost all of the sites while doing our best to keep privacy intact. This will allow for a wider variation of vehicle types, as well as more room for kiddos to play within the site itself.
We welcome individual campers as well as groups. Many of our sites will hold 20-30 people, all in one site area. We can also accommodate much larger groups.... Let us know if you have a special group event.

Nestled between three of the most magnificent mountains in the Pacific NorthWest, and backing on to the Pinot Gifford National Forest, this delightful farm is surrounded by open space, beautiful views and forest trails.
With zero light pollution, a myriad of stars fill the clear night sky here, and the only sounds that break the utter peace of an evening are the sounds of nature.
We are located 1hr and 40 minutes from Mount Rainier National Park and 2.5 hrs south of Seattle.
We have 3 tent sites and 2 tent/RV sites available. For the RV sites, we can accommodate vehicles under 45ft in length and the sites are flat. Electrical hookup available: Both 30 amp plus 50 amp hookups are suitable for RV and electric vehicle charging. Regular Electric sockets are also available in the studio barn for charging devices.
Water hookup available and TV hookup available.
Campfires are permitted as long as there is no fire ban. Pets are allowed. Flush toilet available. Potable water is available. Cooking equipment provided. Wifi available.

This place is magical with spacious campsites among pristine fields, gardens, and woodlands. It felt like camping in our own private park. It’s a beautiful drive in every direction and only 15 minutes from Ike Kinswa. We will be back next summer with our paddle boards. Barb and Terry are great hosts and fantastic communicators who made sure we had everything we needed.

We only stayed one night at the Blue site at the Arboretum on our way back to Seattle from Mt St. Helens, and are already scheming a return visit. It really is a remarkable place… big campsites on a well manicured lawn tucked into the trees with openness but ample privacy. Just about perfect!

All of the sites have a ton of space, so there is ample privacy and quiet. Entire property is imaculately maintained, and the foliage and landscaping is amazing. "Arboretum" is an entirely accurate description!
Walks around the property were a great way to start each day, although we didnt get to the river this trip. We'll make a point of it next time.
Barb and Terry stopped by on our arrival to check in with the rules and to see if we needed anything, but were not obtrusive at all and both super friendly.
In all, it was a relaxing, peaceful stay and we will definitely be back!

5* hipcamp ... We had it all! Natural beauty, close to Rainier, privacy, Nisqually River within walking distance, cell service, and close to a grocery store if needed! Scott (Host) is the absolute greatest! We had a couple of issues and he went above and beyond to help us ... "Thank you Scott, you're the best!". The Campsite can accommodate our entire family which consists of over 20 family members. Bring your own porta-potty (no problem), bring your own propane fire pit (no problem during restricted fire ban), also trash and recycle cans were provided. Our dog loved patrolling the grounds unleashed... He was in his glory (FYI be sure to pick up after your furry pal) ... In closing all I have to say is "Just book it!"

What a rare treat to have a place like this all to ourselves with full hookups! We've been full-time traveling for over 4 years and I can't impress enough what a pleasure it was to stay at Kristin's property. The location is perfect for exploring the national park and it's a short drive to Elbe if you want to ride the train. Backing our 37' super c was a breeze, as the road is wide and obstacle free. We loved it so much I looked into extending (unfortunately some lucky camper was already booked after us).
Some folks in the reviews complained about cattails and grass blocking the view of the pond but for us that was a MAJOR bonus, for two reasons - first, we have a dog that loves all water and immediately has to jump in. This kept her from needing multiple daily rinse offs and possibly drinking water that could give her GI issues. Second, it added to the privacy of the property because the other side of the pond is a large public access area. We appreciated the extra privacy!
