Tenino, the area we are in is where the First Nations People used as the Gathering Grounds. The Europeans when they came with their railroad chose to continue that tradition. Tenino is ground zero for the measurement of where one is on the railroad. We are located on top of Bunker Hill nestled between the Dunn creek and Chehalis river. Our property is 56 acres of mixed biomes including multi-generational forests, open meadows, and creek side trails.
There are four RV spots with full onsite hook-up. Two of the RV sites are paved and lit with ground lights and are prioritized for heavier rigs. The other two sites are on grass. We have two RV that are dry camping gravel sites with bathroom and shower access. We do not allow dumping of grey water or sewage at our property but there is a dump station just 1 minute away at Rainbow Falls State Park.
We are an ideal location for those who love the outdoors or just want to have private family events.

We want you to reconnect with what matters most and get some new inspiration! We are 25 minutes west of I-5, halfway between Seattle and Portland. Pacific Ocean beaches are 1.5 hours away.
Our guests love the near-by swimming hole, shared fire areas, fresh produce and clean outhouses. Meeting the farm animals, napping in the hammocks, mastering the rope swing and wandering the many paths are also memory-makers. Some of our "extras" -- Farm Tours, Propane Firebowls, Saunas, and more -- are available for purchase when you make your booking.
ALL SITES have flat tent spots, a picnic table, hammock, sun, shade, outhouse access and room to park. Sites are 300 feet apart, on average. This is a camping location with ACCESS to the river, access to OUR farm land, ponds and DNR land. Our camp spots are private and not stacked on top of each other. We are about 45 minutes from ocean beaches, only a few minutes from the best riding, hiking and boating in the world. We have a cute bar and restaurant within a mile. Also gas and groceries are close as well. Boat launch is about 1/2 a block easy access.
There is talk about sites at the river, we have some in their premature stage. This is NOT offered through our Hip Camp site!!!!! There are reasons for this: When we initially opened, we allowed people to camp there through Hip Camp and I was getting low stars ratings because Entitled people thought for $28 bucks, they got the whole river to themselves and would fight with other campers. IT JUST GOT TO EXHAUSTING. In the coming years I’m going to try to set up some premium sites on the river and work super hard at getting amenities that will match that price. But for now, Enjoy Camp Hope and the river ACCESS too!! We appreciate the wonderful feedback everyone gives it helps us grow with you!!

Guests love it here: "What a nice surprise! I was not sure what to expect staying on a horse ranch, but it was everything I could have hoped for and more. Kristy was an awesome host and there was one other group up by the rv pad, but we hardly saw them. Dogs were very friendly and Kristy let us use a propane fire-pit to provide warmth and a fire for our tent site. The bathrooms were clean and there was some water by our site, but we did not use it.
The camp, for the tent site… we arrived and she drove us all over her property and told us to just choose where we wanted to camp. We chose to stay in back of the horse area. While we could see the house from there, we didn’t care and if you want to move back in the woods further, there are spots back there too that would provide more privacy if you need that. This is a great site and a one of a kind experience being that close to the horses."

This place was fantastic. Had it all to ourselves for a lovely spring weekend. Easy parking on a flat surface helps this novice RV driver. Friendly, prompt, informative hosts. Dan showed us around, provided some great stories and years of expertise about the land he loved and has spent years taking care of. Amazing wooded path to the stream and a little further is the river. Beautiful trees, ferns, moss and also open grass areas to be enjoyed.
Full hookups but no waste water on site. We hit an RV shop a few miles down the road in Chehalis and used their system (for $1). WiFi was solid. AT&T worked great. No Verizon service.
Perhaps the best part for us was what an absolute paradise it was here for our dogs that are used to city living. They got their moneys worth!

What we love most about this campground is how spacious it was. We have a very long bumper pull trailer and a large van because we haul lots of kids and a dog, we were able to pull in without a problem. There was plenty of room to turn around. It is hard to find a spot that has enough room for our large camper with power and water hook up. We also had a large car trailer in tow with us too, and there was enough room to park both of them.
The covered Gazebo had light so we hung out under it and played UNO for a bit.
It was so nice being able to rent out the yurt. It was very cool. There’s a pool table in there so the kids had a lot of fun shooting pool and playing games plus it was a great place to do the dishes and a little bit of cooking. There is a full-size bathroom inside the yurt, which was awesome because our tanks are not that big on our trailer so everybody got to shower. There was not a burn ban, so of course we had a great fire and kids got s’mores !!! The host even had firewood there for our use!! Most places charge extra for that.
This is a 10 out of 10 recommend!!! We will absolutely be back!!!

This camp spot rivals the best of state parks - broad sites with lots of space between trailers. Rolling hills dotted with landscaping, vegetation, and farm structures. The trails lead to a small, picturesque creek that flows into the Chehalis. Solid hookups and lots of amenities like group fire pit, etc. It’s only a mile from Rainbow Falls SP.

We had a very relaxing and lovely time! We travel in a 30ft class C. We fit perfectly. We also travel with a medium size dog. There is an old logging road right across the street perfect for walks. There are areas on site that are perfect for middle of the night when puppy has to go. Yes, the owners are on site, but other than the initial greeting we didn't see them. We were relaxed. There was enough room to park our extra vehicle and set out chairs. We work remotely, so while our phones were fine, we did struggle to get strong enough service to work. But if you are not working, it is perfect. It was a wonderful spot and we will be back. Oh, Starlink worked great.

I travel for a living and this has to be my number one spot. It’s a safe location and the views are breathtaking. Nelda is absolutely amazing host and I would recommend this to anyone. I had a grill to cook on, power for the cold nights and plenty of room to roam and hike. 10/10!!

Kristy was the best ! We totally got rained out and she so graciously offered us space in her covered arena (complete with counter space and heaters!) for overnight. Her property is beautiful, the horses and dogs are so sweet, and I would absolutely come back again. Clean, spacious portapotty with a sink next to it, only 15 minutes outside of Olympia, what a treasure !
