Our house is located in Wood River Village. It is the beginning of where the Deschutes River bends as it comes into the town of Bend. One can quickly and easily walk to the river trail from our house. By going up river, one gets the sense of being remote and in the forest along a well maintained trail that makes a 3 miles loop with many rapids visible from the trail. By walking down river, one can quickly access Hayden Homes Amphitheater, Old Mill shopping and Downtown on a paved walking path. Park in our big wrap-around driveway under beautiful Ponderosa pines, kick back, and fall asleep under a sky full of stars—no harsh streetlights here. Don’t worry though, we’ve got a floodlight and cameras for a little extra peace of mind. In the morning, you might even wake up to our neighborhood mule deer cruising through the yard.
Right across the street, you can hop on the Canal Trail and head either way. Cruise east for a quick 5-minute bike ride to Fred Meyer, Starbucks, and more. Or head west through 120+ acres of forest that connects straight to the Deschutes River Trail (about 4 minutes away). From there, it’s all about the outdoors—fishing, bouldering, biking, swimming, rafting…you name it.
Want to check out the Old Mill or catch a show at Hayden Homes Amphitheater? It’s all just ¾ of a mile down the hill—super easy to get to.
If you’re looking at Bend, you probably already know how great it is—tons of outdoor adventures, good food, and plenty to explore.

Really just a home with a rv pad in a quiet subdivision. Nearby is shopping, coffee, concerts at an outdoor amphitheater, restaurants, river views and hikes, mountain biking, sketch or sitting areas in our backyard on the deck or to birdwatch or have tea and read a book, etc... Mt. Bachelor ski lift is about a 45 min drive. We do have a very rural bare bones glamping wood shed option with a nice twin bed and sheets/pillow/blanket, if you’d prefer to be in there, message me in advance please. No toilet just a clean paint bucket &tp. :-)

Campsite is on a second driveway to the front of the house on a wooded, half-acre lot in a quiet neighborhood in Southwest Bend. House lots are big and the area provides nice cool morning walks. There is a curb at the start of the driveway but aids will be provided if necessary.
Electrical (110x2; 50A with converter to 30A), water, and sewer hookups are available! The sewer hookup may not work if your drain is underneath your vehicle and low to the ground.
There is a fenced in yard that may be used if your dog(s) get along with mine and you help with poop patrol. You will need to check the fence line to confirm that your dogs cannot get out, as I am not responsible if they escape. A large part of my yard is rewilding, so you will see tall grasses and increasing varieties of flowers over the years.
A hot tub may be available by appointment. House is enhanced by the use of focused life force energy (FLFE.net), so enjoy relaxing in the higher vibes. There is one cat to rule us all and she may grace you with her presence if you welcome her. And a border collie to guard anyone she deems as part of her "flock."
Site is located an easily walkable ½ mile from a shopping center with grocery (just closed but hoping for another to take its place), vet, Mexican and Asian-fusion restaurants, and a wine bar with occasional entertainment. Beyond that, is a park with a climb to a tall hill with a lovely 360 overlook view of the surrounding mountains.
There is access to the river and river trail about ¾ mile walk away - this trail can take you all the way to Farewell Park and the Old Mill shopping area. And a bus stop is around the corner, just about a house length away.
This is a great base location for all your adventures in Bend and surrounding areas, and a quiet place in which to relax afterwards.

Tumalo town also a coffee shop, pizza parlor, tavern and the historic “Tumalo Feed Co. Steakhouse” with an old town western feel. For you adventure people, there’s Smith Rock State Park 30 minutes to the north and Mt Bachelor 50 minutes west for you downhill and Nordic skiers. Between Mt Bachelor and my Rancho Mateo site, you can find lots of hiking and impressive mountain bike trails including the Phil’s trail system network. Five minutes north on Old Bend Redmond Highway is "Schilling's Garden Market offering mini venues, gardening classes and fresh produce along with plants for sale. Fifteen minutes north is “Well Rooted” where you can pick your own fresh produce and buy meets and more. Twenty-five minutes N/W is the small town of Sisters with a small-town charm. The Deschutes fairgrounds and Redmond airport 15 minutes north.

This campsite is situated on a 20-acre farm, so it feels remote and removed from the primary residents. With this spot, you are nestled under a juniper tree that provides ample shade with a lava rock backdrop, and can watch the sun dip below the Three Sisters volcanoes in the distance. This spot is very simple and tucked away, perfect for stargazing at night with limited light pollution. There is a picnic table, swing, and fire pit (please make sure the fire ban is off for this). There is no water, electricity, septic, or wifi. You do have cell service.
Please remember, you may encounter wildlife. This can include, but not limited to, deer, coyotes, snakes, spiders, etc. I have seen many bull snakes around that mimic rattlesnakes but are harmless. As long as you do not aggravate any animals, they should leave you alone. Also, please remember if you have pets, to keep them under control and be aware that cheat grass in the summer months can get stuck in their paws, ears, etc.
While feeling remote and removed from the Bend tourism, it only takes 15 minutes to get downtown Bend, where there are ample restaurants, shops, coffeehouses, the Deschutes River, etc. It takes 7 minutes to get to Trader Joe's and Home Depot, and 10 minutes to get to St. Charles Hospital. We are perfectly situated between Smith Rock State Park (25 minutes) and the High Desert Museum (17 minutes).
Heads up: as many places in central Oregon, Picknik Place gets pretty dusty, dry, and hot in the summer months. You may also encounter minimal road noise. Enjoy this private spot with all of the surrounding natural beauty!

We relocated to Redmond and LOVE being here! It has allowed us the opportunity to enjoy everything Central Oregon has to offer and we hope you too can experience and enjoy it as much as we do. It's all about making memories. It's also perfect for Fall/Winter fun and avoiding the summer crowds. Simply stay on our 5 acre property with complete hook ups if you're looking to avoid the bustle of downtown and it's hotel prices!
Our property is about 5 acres and tent spots are first come first serve with about 1 acre being closer to our house with shady grassy areas. The other 4 acres are in the pasture and mostly unshaded.
Pitch a tent out in the pasture, near the canal that runs through the property. We are a perfect location to the fairgrounds for the Farewell Festival/Rise Up Reggae Festival and all Bend festivals throughout the year. We are 4 miles to the festival sights in Redmond and 20 min to Bend. Ask about our shuttle rides to and from the festivities so just enjoy the ride, enjoy the show and come home for a relaxing evening under the stars.
If coming fortheRise Up Festival we offer the purchase of a weekend shuttle pass to and from the fairgrounds so you can enjoy your time and not spend it stuck trying to get out of the parking lot!!
If you are bringing an RV or trailer we have hookups for electric (first come basis).

Located 9 miles east of Bend our serene 40 acre ranch is full of open fields, flowers, and juniper forest. We have Bees, dogs, cows, chickens, geese and ducks that live on the ranch. You will most likely see the cows roaming around the fields, ducks and geese in the irrigation ditch and bees on the wildflowers. We are close enough to Bend where if you need something you are not far, but far enough out that you have dark star filled nights with full view of the milky way.
We have our local honey available on the ranch in both pints and 1/2 pints!

This not your typical HipCamp. Don’t let the RV camp moniker or swanky land yachts bias your judgement, this place is great. Great amenities, minutes from downtown, a store stocked with Bend’s best beer, and a great staff. One suggestion, a pool with a small bar would be a nice addition.

We absolutely LOVED Ricki’s site. Maybe our favorite of our whole trip! She made things so pretty and inviting with fresh flowers, solar hanging lights, an outdoor sink and toilet, picnic table, and the most luxurious grass to run around with our kids and dogs. Our Aussies loved playing with her frenchies. We flew kites and walked around the gorgeous neighborhood with horses and other animals. Location wise it’s 5 min from Tumalo and 10 min from downtown Bend! Couldn’t recommend this spot more, we will for sure be back! We stayed in space 1 for five nights.

Joel's camp spot is in a great location for easy access to Mill District in Bend. Its a simple camping spot in his back yard. He has a lovely dog and Joel was very friendly. If you are looking for simply camping this spot is fine.

This was a great place to stay close to everything in Bend but still far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. The site is full hookups with easy access. We pulled in and backed out to have them on the correct side. Alaina is quick to respond and great to work with. We will stay again if we are coming through the area!

Driveway is a little narrow, but Joel was super patient and helpful while we tried to back in at 11pm in the dark. They have a dog who puts on a good show of being a watch dog, but she is super sweet and it was fun to have her greet us when we returned to the site. We came back one afternoon and the hose that we hooked up to had burst, Joel was quick to respond and replaced it within a couple of hours. Location is amazing- quiet, close to the river float drop in area, and was perfect for the long weekend. Will certainly stay again!

We love The Camp and have stayed here a few times when traveling to Bend. It's incredibly clean, great location and we love the sitting/coffee/book swap area in the middle. The only downfall is Burnside can get a tad noisy with trucks going by in the morning, but not much you can do about that and the pros far outweigh the one con. We will be back!

This place is a hidden gem! My family and I stayed here for two nights in our Sprinter van at Site 1, and it was an excellent experience. The site was impressively level, so I didn’t even need to use leveling blocks.
The bathroom facilities were clean and well maintained, with a sink available for washing your hands. The electrical and water hookups worked flawlessly throughout our stay. We also appreciated the shade and enjoyed several relaxing lunches at the picnic table provided.
Our dogs absolutely loved this property. There was plenty of open grassy space for them to run and play, and they had a great time with the hosts’ friendly dog, Kona.
Rocki and Myles were, without a doubt, some of the best hosts we’ve ever had. They were welcoming, kind, and made us feel right at home. I highly recommend this spot to anyone traveling with family or pets. We would gladly stay here again!
