Park in our big wrap-around driveway under beautiful Ponderosa pines, kick back, and fall asleep under a sky full of stars—no harsh streetlights here. Don’t worry though, we’ve got a floodlight and cameras for a little extra peace of mind. In the morning, you might even wake up to our neighborhood mule deer cruising through the yard. Right across the street, you can hop on the Canal Trail and head either way. Cruise east for a quick 5-minute bike ride to Fred Meyer, Starbucks, and more. Or head west through 120+ acres of forest that connects straight to the Deschutes River Trail (about 4 minutes away). From there, it’s all about the outdoors—fishing, bouldering, biking, swimming, rafting…you name it. Want to check out the Old Mill or catch a show at Hayden Homes Amphitheater? It’s all just ¾ of a mile down the hill—super easy to get to. If you’re looking at Bend, you probably already know how great it is—tons of outdoor adventures, good food, and plenty to explore. Please note: this is our home, not a campground, so being respectful of our neighbors is very important to us. Thanks for checking us out—we’d love to host you! And if the timing doesn’t work this trip, hopefully we’ll catch you next time. Old Mill Pines Basecamp
This location is extremely close to most everything there is: shopping right downtown is less than 12 minutes away where there is a LOT of good stuff; Phills & etc mountain biking is just up the road; and the Descheutes River/Trail is a very comfortable, openspace walk, bring your trecking shoes, fly rod, or bike. They are very accomodating, and expect to keep your dog on a line. It's a good place....Do it!

Simple, level, shaded spot to stay right off the road so there is traffic noise but it didn’t bother us. 1 mile from The Mill District.There is a historic canal trail about 150 feet from the property. Really ice trail. The dogs loved it. Mike is a friendly host and a pleasure to talk to.

Super nice guy with great recommendation's. Pulled into our spot with our Tiffin GH1 and were level from setting the brake. Convenient location to Old Mill and Hayden Home Amphitheater.

We had a great stay. Mike was very hospitable, friendly, and responsive. He went out of his way to make sure we are settled and ok. The location is great, within 3/4 of the Old Mill District. He also gave us lots of tips of things to do and places to see in beautiful Bend.

Perfect spot to hang out and stay in Bend! We walked to and from Hayden Homes amphitheater for a concert. We could hear sound check as well while setting up our travel trailer. Mike was very helpful with getting us in the space and making sure we had what we needed. Would stay here again!

Mike was super responsive and property was as described and flat. Easy bike access to Old Mill and downtown Bend. Would recommend and would stay agin!
