Marie's spot was quiet, the facilities were clean, and the pool was a really nice bonus. The hosts were very nice and the location was extremely convenient. The only negative we experienced was a dog that felt the need to wake everyone up by jumping on their tents and/or trying to get into the tent. I don't think the dog belongs to them, but it was friendly and must've lived nearby because it happened all 3 days. Our last night the dog woke everyone up in the middle of the night (I think it was 3am). I love dogs, but this one was beyond extra...

I would stay again!

Large private yard and not many campers when we went, but the ones that were there were quiet and kept to themselves. Was able to bring my dog, and there is a porta potty available, but no water that we know of. There was also a dog (not sure if it was the owners, they only warned of us their cat) that kept trying to come into our and the other campers tents and it wouldn't leave us alone. Loved that the place is also close to the Deschutes County Fairgrounds as we were there for a festival.

Buyer Beware — Lack of Communicatio

• Pool charges not transparent: Pre-paid for pool use ($5 per night × 2 nights = $20) but were charged $30. No refund offered, even though we never used the pool because we never ended up staying • Shuttle misrepresentation: Asked multiple times (July 16 & 28) to confirm shuttle availability to concert venue (the reason we booked here). On arrival, no shuttle was available. Response from host came the next day, too late to matter. • Misleading advice: Asked if we should bring bikes; host discouraged it. Without shuttle and no bikes, we had no transportation options. Bikes would have been perfect for this venue from this place. • Shade is extremely limited: The site offers little to no shade, making it difficult to stay comfortable. We had to improvise with a canopy and van setup. • Poor site placement: Our only shaded spot was next to an outhouse, meaning constant foot traffic in exchange for barely any shade. • Refund handled poorly: Received half refund for camping but host refused to refund unused pool fees. • Overall experience: Unethical billing, unresponsive communication, misleading information, and poor site layout.

Very easy and accessible. I scheduled it last minute and it was great, easy to set up my tent in the backyard. Would definitely come back when I'm in the area.

Poppin’ our tent up was easy and a good option for us because of how spontaneous our trip was— campsites were full and we really just needed a place to rest our heads! It was peaceful, and did the job. My kids loved the playground, too. Although we didn’t make it to the pool, what a nice offering.

Marie was very friendly and accommodating. The property is well-maintained, and the store is wonderful. We bought farm fresh eggs and elk meat from her, and she gave us some information on the history of the town. We had a great time!

Hosts were friendly! The campground was good! It was quiet which was nice after the time spent at the festival! Other campers were awesome! Didn’t use all the amenities, but they offered a lot, such as sunscreen, a pool, and transportation to and from the venues! Great time!

My daughter and her two friends stayed Thursday to Sunday in mid July and had a wonderful time! Marie was very quick to respond to any questions I had and my daughter said Marie and her husband were very nice and that their property with all the amenities was great! I'm sure they will be happy to stay again in the future!

This is a great place to stay if you are looking for a place close to town in a neighborhood. The toilet was very clean. Their backyard is beautiful.

Wonderful Hosts!

Marie and Patrick were so kind and accommodating! We were able to chat with them before booking to ensure we had an understanding of the site and what would be included. The site is about 15 minutes from Downtown Bend and they have an adorable little "shop" where you can grab little essentials if you need them, like lighters, toothpaste, etc. They even had firewood for a super reasonable price! They provided immediate responses to all our questions and allowed us privacy and flexibility during our stay! The site was on the opposite side of an RV garage providing a private area, complete with a nice port-o-potty for us to use. GREAT hosts! Highly recommend!

Its not quite like BLM site or public campground. Pros: quiet neighborhood, less competition for reservations, fairly close to town, small play structure. Cons: All reservations at this location share one picnic table/firepit/porter potty. No grey water dump. Sites are not marked or separated, in a relatively small area. Mixed: The residential location and neighborhood street parking could make guests feel either more private or like intruders, depending on temperment. I didn't have any direct contact with the host until after departure either, which added to this effect.

Marie was very responsive to all my questions. I arrived late after a concert at Hayden Holmes. Her place was easy to find in the dark & not having to drive 3+ hours back to Portland after a concert was a real treat. I'll definitely stay here again! Thanks Marie, maybe I'll get the chance to meet you next time!

Nice ranchy neighborhood not far off main highway. Looks like they are doing some upgrades. We were there during the changes. Looks like it will be even better in future.
