Nate is a great host. He’s so thoughtful and kind. The setup is awesome. Flat spot, great hookups. Very peaceful and quiet. Everything is neat and clean. Nate was very attentive to any needs we had. It was an awesome spot for a long weekend as we explored the area. We would highly recommend High Desert Juniper.

We are driving to Montana and needed an overnight stay in Prineville. We are so glad we found Nathan's place! It is just outside of town on a nice piece of property. We had full hook ups and access to the property. The property is meticulous and had a nice view. We had our privacy, a view, beautiful sunset, 2 bucks in the yard, a bunny and our dogs were welcomed. Nathan was very welcoming and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again when we return to Prineville!

Private, quiet spot at high elevation. The sweet smell of juniper trees only added to the beautiful view and grounds. The host is friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

It's a wonderful place to stay with your RV. It's very private and quiet. Great location on the edge of Prineville up in the hills. All of the amenities you would expect and most importantly a awesome host.

We loved our long weekend on Nate’s property! What an incredible host! He was so kind and inviting when we arrived, and the RV set-up he has is awesome - power, water and sewer at our fingertips! The location is easy to find and so peaceful. We found a total gem! Thank you, Nate!

Staying at High Desert Juniper was a great experience! Great 50 Amp power, which came in super handy since we were having a bit of a heat wave over the 4th of July.
Nate was a very gracious host. A 'tour' through his shop proved to be very interesting. Nate himself is quite the craftsman.
The views were stunning, especially the sunsets.
Even though we were having a heat wave, we were able to open the windows at night and get cool, clean air during the night.
I highly recommend High Desert Juniper!

If you are looking for a private sitting, not wanting to be in a RV campsite with somebody within 15 feet of you, this could be it! Nate's a great host and is very respectful of your space, lots of peace and tranquility. We were in the area to help family with a property cleanup and looking for this kind of opportunity to RV camp for 4 nights, Nate's place was just perfect!

Nate is such a fantastic host with a fantastic full rv set up. His sunset views are wonderful and if you wish, he will show you around his place and share a glass of wine on the deck while the sun goes down. His space’s proximity to town makes it super convenient while still being out and convenient to the reservoir and the river. We will absolutely return and bring a bottle as our gift!

Nathan has a very accessible driveway with a flat spot, that backs up to a fairly large yard with a great view of the nearby mountain peaks. As a host, he was extremely accommodating and friendly.

We really enjoyed our stay at Nate’s place. First of all, he’s a good guy and really nice to be around. He was also flexible with our evening arrival. His place was in a quiet area close to town and with nice views. Also, the hookups were really convenient and high quality. We would definitely go back.

This single, quiet and beautiful camp spot is next to the host home which sits on 2.5 acres. Everything is well manicured and you have full hook-ups. Nathan as very personable and will look after all your needs. The property sits up a ways on a hill so there are some nice views. This beats any RV Park you've ever been to - don't hesitate to book your stay!

Private, pristine, peaceful. This is a beautiful hidden gem. Clean and tasteful. The location has mountain views and warm sunsets. Nathan is a delightful host, helpful and respectful. He is a joy to talk to and learn from (ask him anything about woodworking and stargazing). Would make a fabulous wedding or event venue! Will stay again! The RV site is level and has full hookups.

This is by far my most favorite Hipcamp experience to date. Nathan’s property is outstanding. The site set up with power, water and sewer is very nicely done. The property and sunset views are amazing. Nathan is a great host. He’s a genuinely nice guy, who is willing to help as needed. Our stay was great for climbing at Smith Rock. I highly recommend camping here when you are in the area.

Extremely quiet, easy accessible, well landscaped, leveled, spacious site with full hook-ups and it more than accommodated our 30ft travel trailer/truck.
The views of the surrounding area, from the porch, are specracular. The sunsets are breathtaking. Unfortunately, this hidden gem does not get the exposure it deserves. We highly recommend a visit if in the area. Close to town and nearby reservoirs. Many thanks to Nathan for his hospitálity and making our stay enjoyable.

Nate was an amazing host and always made sure we were set/comfortable. He even was so kind to help me with a project for our rv. If you are needing to work, he has good WiFi and decent Verizon service (t-mobile dead zone for LTE but has some spotty 5G t mobile service).
*Definitely take him up on his offer to help get into his rv spot since it is a little bit of a funky angle but totally definitely doable/spacious once you are in.

We had a great stay on Nathan’s property! The place was so clean, and tidy as well as private. The use of the porch, both front and back, was great for morning coffee looking out into the juniper trees! Lots of deer, bunnies, and birds to watch! Nathan was a gracious host, with extensive knowledge of the area!
(Ask him about his shop 😉)

Our stay at High Desert Juniper was beyond our expectations! We especially loved getting to know Nate and appreciated his knowledge and insight about Prineville and surrounding areas. His shop is AMAZING and we were lucky enough to get a tour and some very valuable lessons/education on knife sharpening and fine wood working. We will be back to visit again!

This was so much more than we expected. It’s a beautiful spot in the high desert and Nathan is a gracious host. We spent two relaxing nights here and would have spent more if we had known how nice it is. We highly recommend High Juniper Desert! The amenities are excellent and the sunsets are breathtaking!
