Our family "Riverhouse" is one of my favorite places in the world. We use it to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday professional life. The town of Harrisburg is such a cool, easy-going, quaint place to spend some time. Accessibility is one of its' key assets. Harrisburg has a few family owned places to eat at, and a few shops to explore. It's a one light town, but that is why we love it here. The river is my favorite part. I sit for hours on end, watching the water flow by. Fishing, rafting/floating, and wading in the water are all fun things to do here. If you are looking for something just to get off the highway for the night, or for a longer stay, this is a great quiet place to be. Learn more about this land: This listing is for access to a 50ft. long full hook-up RV pad. This does not include access to the house that sits on the property. Conveniently located off of historic 99 hwy., our property is one of only 12 properties located right on the Willamette River in Harrisburg Oregon. Our vacation home "Riverhouse" has a dedicated RV pad with full electric/sewer/water and WIFI hook-ups that can accommodate up to a 50ft. RV. Enjoy our amazing views of the Willamette river on our 500 sqft. custom Japanese Cedar deck located right on the water. Take a 2 minute walk to downtown Harrisburg and enjoy the local eateries and shops. Float or fish the Willamette River! The best part will be relaxing afterwards, enjoying the postcard sunsets. Also, our location is conveniently located halfway between Eugene and Corvallis for sport venues for the University of Oregon and Oregon State. This property is a true gem. Hungry? Then check out "Junkyard Extreme Burgers and Brats", home of the best hamburger in the U.S.A according to Guy Fieri from "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" which is less than two miles down the road. Whether you are just driving through, or looking for a Zen-like, peaceful setting to get a away for a long weekend, this is the spot. Firepit, private. Firepit behind the house is available. Please make sure fire is out when done with the campfire ring by spraying off with garden hose attached to the back of the house

On leash. Please PICK UP pet messes and dispose of in garbage bin!

No toilet; campers must bring camp toilets

Potable water available

Spigot. Sometimes our gardener uses the dedicated RV hose connection to water the front yard. Please feel free to disconnect the sprinkler, and connect to your RV as needed

Recycling bin, trash bin. For campers staying during the week, trash day is on Tuesday. Typically the neighbor will put the trash/recycling on the curb.

Storm watching!

Great weekend! We watched a storm roll in over the river. Actually watched it coming! So cool. The rain came and we had no flooding issues. Once the rain was over, we played football in the front yard! Like I said, great weekend!

Great host, beautiful view, fishing was perfect and the small town feel was fun. Everything you need is close to camp. Evening walk by the river is a must! I hope it’s not booked up when I want to stay next time. Enough space for my 28ft camper, truck and a SUV!

Great spot to Hipcamp! We love being on the river. Plenty of room to move around and park our 28ft trailer with 2 cars. The eagles every morning are super cool! Great host with excellent communication! We decided to book a few more day!

Amazing riverfront RVing!

Camping at Chris’s place in Harrisburg was an absolute highlight. The setting right on the water is stunning, especially in the evenings when you catch the beautiful sunsets over the river. We had an incredible time fishing and even spotted bald eagles flying overhead while we were out. Chris is a fantastic host, and the location offers the perfect blend of relaxation and nature. Can’t wait to come back!

A peaceful paradise!

What I loved most about this trip was the absolute peace and quiet. The layout is incredibly spacious—there was plenty of room to comfortably park my 28ft trailer and two cars without feeling cramped at all. My days here were perfect: starting with refreshing early morning runs and ending with beautiful walks along the river every night, capped off by a gorgeous sunset. If you're looking for a relaxing, scenic getaway with great amenities and space to call your own, this is the place to be. I love it here!

We booked the RV spot with full hookups, and the setup was perfect. Chris is a fantastic, quick responding host. The entire property is incredibly quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. Every single night, we were treated to a stunning view of the sunset. If you love to fish, you won't be disappointed—the fishing here has been seriously impressive! To top it all off, they hosted "music in the park" last night from 6:30 to 8:00 PM, complete with some fantastic food carts. It was the perfect community vibe. We absolutely love this place and can’t wait to come back!

Level, 1 RV spot easily accessed via alleyway. We were visiting friends in Eugene and this was a quiet and convenient overnight stay. Willamet River was across the street. Nice city park 1 block away.

Sunsets and river otters

Nice friendly little town. The spot was a great place for sunsets and reading on the deck. We were here in fall and there were no bugs. We did see a pack of river otters right below the house that were fun to watch. Super dog friendly area with people jogging and strolling by. Dog friendly park right doen the street and even a dog bad dispenser less than a block away . Felt safe. Close to stores and the Vu, a nice little pub with good, great selection of beer and cider (didn't try the mixed drinks) and pool tables (free pool on Sundays FYI). Next time we in the area this is out go to spot.

Great location for RV with a Dog!

This spot was exactly as advertised! It had a great spot to back into on the side of the house with gull hook up. The host was not there so it felt pretty private. The Willamette River was right across the street and had a lovely quiet park on the River with tables and a gazebo to enjoy. Our dog had lots of great walks around a quiet neighborhood and along the river. 15 minutes from quaint town of Coburg and 25 minutes from downtown Eugene

Convenient Spot in Town

This site comes just as advertised - great sunsets with a deck, convenient water/electricity/sewer hookup and a quiet neighborhood in a small town. The river put-in takeout spot is very close - we paddle boarded on the Willamette. We walked to 99 Highway Grill and had a fun dinner. There’s brand new pickleball courts less than a half a mile away.

This is a nice place in a quiet and safe neighborhood. It's across the street from the Willamette River where you can watch hawks and eagles soaring and great sunsets. Full hookups are an added plus. The only negative for me is it's only a couple of blocks away from the railroad tracks for both freight and commuter trains that run all night blowing their horns. If you don't mind train noise then you should enjoy all of the other amenities this location offers.

The location was great, beautiful view of the river, field and the mountains in the distance. The town was nice, great burgers at the 99 grill a 10 min walk away. Electric and water worked as expected, used the offered deck to watch the sunset.

We loved this little spot on the river. It was quiet and peaceful and had amazing views of the Sunsets. We have a class A with slides, it was cozy but my husband was able to park with no problems. We will look forward to staying here again when we visit Harrisburg again!

Quiet, relaxing Sunday by the River

The location of Chris's property was really great. It was on a very quiet street across from a beautiful river with an amazing sunset. It was a easy walk down to the city park and boat launch area as well as into town to get to restaurants. The trail nearby lead down to the river banks underneath the bridge where it was really fun to enjoy in the water with a slower current.

Lovely, but not for big rigs!

This is a lovely site across from the river, quiet, in a nice neighborhood. Parking for a big rig is very challenging. We have a 35’ 5th wheel with slide outs on both sides and it took perseverance and skill to narrowly back in the site without snagging wires, telephone poles and gutters. We finally did it with an inch or two to spare. This is best for travel trailers, campers and Class C RVs.
