The grounds were beautiful and our kids loved playing in the nice wide space. Friendly hosts, all we needed. A little further from the town of bend than we expected.

Our stay at this ranch was amazing. The scenic views were awesome. Alan at the ranch was completely accommodating. I can't remember the last time I saw so many stars! This is a fantastic experience and would absolutely go again and recommend to this site.

Great spot. The Owner Alan clearly cares about providing a good experience for campers. He greeted us when we arrived late and showed us around. The landscape he has created is truly impressive - and expanding! Highly recommend. Potable well water, fire pits, pond, teepees... bison. Awesome.

The site at Pine Mountain Buffalo Ranch was great! Very well kept amenities, incredibly helpful host, and amazing views! Plus, the yaks and bisons make great company. Very close to Bend which is a huge plus!

Beautiful, quiet location. Gracious welcoming hosts. It exceeded my expectations. Everything was clean and comfy—I overpacked bringing all sorts of things that the hosts provided (soap and shampoo, camp chairs, etc). Our kids enjoyed it too, especially the frog hunting tips. They are already asking to go back.

Large Tipi in BEND on Bison Ranch
We loved our stay at the buffalo ranch. The fire pits, tipis, stargazing, and animals were an awesome addition to our trip to Bend. We even saw a Yak give birth and the baby take it's first steps. You can't find that at a hotel. The tipi was really nice with outlets and lights inside. The only downside was that the tent spaces were super close to us (~5 ft away) and you could easily hear the people chatting in their tent. I'd highly recommend staying here though and would definitely come again.

It was great! Fun to be around the animals and a cute pond. I just wish there had been more specific rules about quiet hours as we had some noisy neighbors. The site was perfect for what we needed.

The view from the ranch was beautiful and it was fun to see the bison and yaks. The yard for the tents felt safe and comfortable and there was supplied firewood on site. Background noise from the pond and fountain was soothing when going to sleep.

Best campground ever! Clean, well maintained, and only fifteen minutes away from downtown Bend. Alan was super friendly - he welcomed us and then retreated back into his house, allowing us to do our own thing. The bison and yak were good company!

Excellent spot to stay! Alan was so friendly and helpful. He showed us around his property and told us about the bison and yams and let us take photos of them close up near their pastures. Such a fun spot to stay and we loved our morning and evening walks on the property. Beautiful and serene!

Alan is a great host full of information and his excitement about his setting, animals, and future plans for his property is contagious.
He shares his ranching/ farming background easily and his knowledge of local practices and area is well worth tapping.

Excellent site for our work retreat. Beautiful land and very well maintained camp facilities. Getting to see the animals in the morning and having easy access to Bend and surrounding activities makes his an ideal spot.

Brian (ranch hand) was there to show us around the first night. As the ranchers spend their weekends at various farmers markets selling their Yack and Buffalo jerky and products. My girls (both 11 years old) had so much fun staying in the huge Tepee that we decided to stay an extra night. That is when we met Alan, he is such a friendly guy with so many awesome stories to share. Cannot wait to come back. The grounds were clean, the sunsets weee stunning. Campfires, showers, and great people...what more could you ask for?! Thank you for sharing your beautiful ranch!!

Very beautiful and well-maintained campsite right outside of Bend. Alan is a wonderful host - friendly and accommodating. Only thing separating you from the wildlife is a fence.

This expansive property gave us plenty to see on our visit to the ranch. Right as we drove in, the tipis caught our eye. In the tent area, there are multiple fire rings, picnic tables, deck chairs to kick your feet up, and a pond that’s wonderfully relaxing. Anytime you’re ready, it’s only a few steps to the adjoining fields where you can see all the beautiful buffalo and yak wandering around. Alan was very helpful in providing information about farming, the surrounding community, and the various wildlife you’ll see in the area.

We recently stayed here on a PNW road trip. Not only did the site meet our expectations but it was better. Alan is a great host and the property is very well maintained and cool (it’s a sustainable farm) and close to Bend (5 minutes). The campsites are picturesque, just like in the pictures and it’s great to have access to a clean and private bathroom and have security due to the property owners living onsite. Definitely would stay here again!

Had such a wonderful experience on the Ranch! The hosts were very friendly and their land is beautiful! We came back to camp one night and the bonfire had been lit by the hosts for us. The ranch is close to downtown Bend and is very peaceful. Highly recommend!!

This was a beautiful ranch to stay at for our first night near Bend. My kids loved roaming around the open areas and seeing the animals. The view of Mount Bachelor is beautiful and the stars at night even better.

This location was perfect for spot to stay near Bend, OR. The host, Alan, was extremely helpful and informative, and the designated camping area was very spacious! It came complete with a fire pit and portable restroom, and it bordered the Yak and Bison paddocks. When staying here, be sure to check out the Buffalo and Yaks on the farm, and travel out to Smith Rock State Park during the day (only 30 minutes away!)
