New update , I don't currently have enough firewood to accommodate everybody . I'm working on it and hopefully we'll provide that service in the near future but in the meantime I have an address of a friend that sells firewood bundles for $5 each very close by . This is their address . 3904 Tillamook River Road. Please be careful when using Google maps, for whatever reason it has taken several people to other places other than mine. I posted a picture of the entrance of my property, hopefully this will help. Hurlys Hideaway is a very nice location located approximately 2 miles from the town of Tillamook. Very close to the beach Sand Lake various Rivers for fishing kayaking swimming Etc. Approximately 4 MI from Netarts Oceanside area, Netarts Bay, Cape Mears. A very nice location to be able to access all of these activities in Tillamook County. My land is Timber, some clearings, we'll see how this goes I'm just getting started. Also, I just learned that the transient tax for Tillamook Oregon is an additional 10% and I hate to do this but I'm going to have to raise my prices $5. If you are coming from Town, I'm 2 mi. from the hospital west on hwy. 131. Look for the purple Minnesota Vikings bus shack. I also put up a hipcamp sign just up my driveway a bit. If you are coming from the south on Fraiser road, turn right when you come to hwy. 131. I'm less than a quarter mile on your left. Also a heads up lately I've had a few people that are having a hard time booking and I learned from another camper if you're staying one night you actually have to select two days it includes the day you check out I just experienced that with another camper so just a bit information I don't know if hip camp changed something or what, but if you're staying one night select two days and it'll work.

The Lake Pasture is now taking reservations for 2026 that will run until the end of September. We’d like to share a small but meaningful change at the campsite. Our numbered sites have been replaced with family names that reflect the families who have helped shape this property over the years. Many of these names are connected through marriage and shared history, and together they tell the story of how our family—and this land—have grown over time. We hope this adds a personal touch to your stay and offers a glimpse into the history that makes this place so special to us.Our season this year will run through the month of September. Welcome to our tranquil campground nestled on the stunning Oregon coastline. Our campground boasts four primitive sites located in an open field between a fresh water lake and the Pacific Ocean. Our campground provides a rustic escape for those seeking solace and adventure. If you prefer a more private setting you can put up a tent or bring a small RV on the riverside site on the far west end of the property, or choose the comfort of staying in our rustic cabin. Book both sites for extra large groups or if you need more space/privacy. There is no electricity or running water in the cabin, however a generator can be rented if it is desired. Potable water is also available on site if you bring a jug to fill. A portable toilet is available on-site. Take advantage of the opportunity to go fishing, swimming, or launch your boat/kayak/tube. Alternatively, simply relax and enjoy the picturesque views of the river and the wildlife in the coastal rainforest. Watch the salmon jump during spawning season in November, or cast a rod from our private fishing spot. We are also a birdwatcher's and rockhounding paradise! Just a few minutes away from town amenities, this location allows you to immerse yourself in the tranquility of the forested river canyon, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We are family and fur baby friendly! If you are an animal lover, take the time to enjoy a visit with our cats and chickens too. *Please note, while we have no direct neighbors, we are in a narrow river canyon. There is an active farm and wedding venue across the river. You may hear distant noise of their operations or events, depending on the season. There is also a quarry across the road that operates M-F, from 8a-3p that sometimes can be heard sporadically throughout the day.

Camping, fire pits, short hiking trails on property, compost toilets, potable water access, 25 mins from the beach and Pacific City, OR. A small creek is on the property and though too shallow for a good swim, it makes a lovely way to cool off in summer heat and excellent for splashing around with kiddos. There are several options for camping sites. A steep fire road (for 4wheel drive... or pack in access) leads into the woods for shady sites or camp below nearer the creek in an open grassy area in front of the house. Experienced 4-wheeling drivers only REQUIRED if you want to drive up to ridge sites. Otherwise feel free to park below and pack your gear up on foot. Less than 15 mins walk to ride sites. We have an outdoor aerial rig set up to enjoy, horseshoe pits and "lawn bowling":) We are not quite set up as a "glamping" venue so you must have and bring all your own gear. We will have wood available for purchase. We ask you keep fires small for safety and use of any cooking stoves done carefully and wisely. WE REQUIRE THAT FIRES ARE DEAD OUT BEFORE YOU GO TO SLEEP, NO COALS, NO SMOKE AND ALL PROPANE TURNED COMPLETELY OFF!!! As of now there are already 3 dogs and 3 cats on the property so we are asking at this point for a NO PETS please. We look forward to hosting you at The Rusty Rose!

All of Rock Crick Acres is on a stream!!!!! Who doesn't love water? This hidden gem is only 1/3 of a mile off the highway yet all you can hear is the flow of the water from Rock Creek which flows along the 2 acres. There is plenty of spots to toss your tent. Personally, I prefer the bank overlooking the stream. Cool your feet on a hot summer day in Rock Creek (the main attraction). Enjoy the evenings around the fire pit for an extra $15/day which includes the firewood. There are complimentary tables, BBQ, chairs. Did you know the coolest porta-party in the galaxy awaits your visit? Yep, true. Attractions: Spirit Mountain Casino is only 4 miles away, The Oregon coast is a 25 minute drive as well as plenty of vineyards. Also enjoy 100+ miles of hiking trails. The trail head is only 1 mile from camp. I'm available to answer any questions you have and look forward to your visit. We ask if the ground is wet (rain for 24+ hrs) you keep your car on the gravel driveway and not drive in the grass (causing ruts). Don't be a turd. Respect the Hideout. If you plan on partying and/or staying up late around the campfire, don't book this. I have neighbors and respect them. Go do your party booking elsewhere, please. Lastly, if you are bringing dogs, you'll most likely get a bit of barking from the dogs to the east for the 1st hour. I just want to be honest and warn you.

* Please note that there is a strict fire ban in effect Welcome to Timber Ridge Ranch! A rustic tree farm with close proximity to the beach. Experience a variety of epic timber campsites just above the iconic surf spot, Oswald State Beach, also known as Short Sands (aka “Shorty’s”). Nestled in a coastal Forrest, a short stay with us will have you feeling both inspired and connected as you experience our regions legacy industry: evergreen farming. So pack your flannel and join in the heritage of the Pacific Northwest logging traditions… Whether you're set on catching waves, hiking Smugglers Cove, or exploring the charming towns of Cannon Beach and Manzanita, our picturesque property provides the perfect basecamp for your adventures. Sites range from secluded two person hideouts to large open group sites for 30 people. With this unique setting, why settle for a traditional campsite ever again? Embrace the majesty of Timber Ridge Ranch. Disclaimers: We had one person say that this place is not 2 Wheel Drive accessible. Therefore we highly recommend four-wheel-drive (4WD)! There have been cougar, bear, and elk sightings, so please don’t leave food out and be careful! Although Short Sands Beach / Oswald State Park is close, it’s not really walkable. However, it is only two miles South on Hwy 101 to the parking lots from our gate. Most of the campsites are about a mile up the hill from our main entrance. So a total of about 3 miles to Shorty’s. Fair warning: All of these sites are great for car camping and not great for tent camping. There is lots of rocks and not a lot of grass padding. Lastly; there are no bathrooms! Please make sure you bring your own bathroom! If we find any messes left we do charge a $250 fine. Thank you for for helping us keep our sites beautiful and safe for all!

Close to area cities, but private and beautiful. Campsites are along the woods in an open meadow. We have a tasting room onsite where we serve cider, perry and wine that we make here (open Fri-Sun, 3-9pm in summer). Lots of great bird watching, beautiful gardens and great backdrop of the coast Range. We host a summer concert series, usually on Saturdays, so those days are blocked. Chris and Beth met and started dating in Indianapolis in 2009 where both were working on their graduate education. During their first date, Chris announced his goal of developing a vineyard and making wine. As the relationship evolved, Chris worked toward the goal by researching viticulture, attending classes and investigating potential vineyard sites. In summer of 2011, Chris and Beth got married and dove into the wine industry when they purchased a majestic 62 acre property in the foothills of the coastal mountain range in Yamhill County. The property had been an old timber farm that was in bad shape. In 2012, a portion of the property was cleared and planted and the adventure had just begun! The vineyard was planted in 2012, with additional blocks planted each year since. In 2015 they produced our first lots of Pinor Noir and Sauvignon Blanc and have since expanded the wine selection to offer hand-crafted lots of Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, Gewurztraminer, Riesling, Dolcetto, Lagrein and more. These days, Chris manages the day to day operations of the farm and wine production while Beth manages the business.

Learn more about our land: In the heart of Willamette Valley AVA and on a breezy 20-acre lot of land we provide a space for you to set yourself up and enjoy life's natural bounty. We offer a small shared space with a wood fire stove and some essential items, many games (such as horseshoes), and lots of picnic areas and tables sprinkled throughout the property. The location is central and half an hour to just minutes away from water bodies Hagg Lake, Nestucca River, Yamhill River, little Niagara Falls, Mill Creek, Baker Creek, Rainbow Lake and more… Such as the Carlton public pool. If your looking to jaunt from camp a little further, we are located a little over an hour and a beautiful drive to the Pacific Coast and about an hour from Portland. Although in the middle of the country woods, we are surprisingly only two and a half miles from the adorable and quaint town of Carlton. So beside the views, you’ll be alongside some fantastic eateries and outstanding winemakers.  Being raised in the community, and over ten years of experience in the local food and wine industry, I can give recommendations aplenty.   ꕥ  The property has been in our family since the late 60’s and has recently been transferred in ownership to the next generation! It’s been a large adjustment with many precious memories in tow. In hopes to carry on the legacy we opened up camp mid-summer 2021, and it’s a work in progress (as work normally is!), but has been a beautiful experience being in a position to share. There are two family homes on the property with people who truly admire this land! With the work of these past couple seasons, and thanks to our fellow campers, we have been able to lay more gravel, get a more fluid bathroom situation established, and lay out a few more sites! So thank you for your continued support in this venture and in any form, I’m excited to be apart of your adventure and hope to have you in our neck of the woods soon! ❊ ❁ ❊  All the best on your ventures, Whitney!

Tranquil RV spot on our one acre property, an hour's drive from Portland, Corvallis or the Pacific Ocean and 45 minutes from Salem. Our mile long rural road is great for family bike rides, bird watching, picking blackberries and other fruit in the late summer. We are close to the Yamhill River for some kayaking or canoeing. Our property offers a quiet refuge from the hustle and bustle of the city and being away from city lights make us a great spot for some star gazing. We recently finished building our passive Eco-home and are in the process of creating a permaculture food forest by planting lots of fruit trees and other perennials. We have a flock of 10 hens.
