I posted a picture of the entrance of my property, hopefully this will help. Hurlys Hideaway is a very nice location located approximately 2 miles from the town of Tillamook. Very close to the beach Sand Lake various Rivers for fishing kayaking swimming Etc. Approximately 4 MI from Netarts Oceanside area, Netarts Bay, Cape Mears. A very nice location to be able to access all of these activities in Tillamook County. My land is Timber, some clearings, we'll see how this goes I'm just getting started. Also, I just learned that the transient tax for Tillamook Oregon is an additional 10% and I hate to do this but I'm going to have to raise my prices $5. If you are coming from Town, I'm 2 mi. from the hospital west on hwy. 131. Look for the purple Minnesota Vikings bus shack. I also put up a hipcamp sign just up my driveway a bit. If you are coming from the south on Fraiser road, turn right when you come to hwy. 131. I'm less than a quarter mile on your left. Also a heads up lately I've had a few people that are having a hard time booking and I learned from another camper if you're staying one night you actually have to select two days it includes the day you check out I just experienced that with another camper so just a bit information I don't know if hip camp changed something or what, but if you're staying one night select two days and it'll work.

A small creek is on the property and though too shallow for a good swim, it makes a lovely way to cool off in summer heat and excellent for splashing around with kiddos.
There are several options for camping sites. A steep fire road (for 4wheel drive... or pack in access) leads into the woods for shady sites or camp below nearer the creek in an open grassy area in front of the house. Experienced 4-wheeling drivers only REQUIRED if you want to drive up to ridge sites. Otherwise feel free to park below and pack your gear up on foot. Less than 15 mins walk to ride sites.
We have an outdoor aerial rig set up to enjoy, horseshoe pits and "lawn bowling":)
We are not quite set up as a "glamping" venue so you must have and bring all your own gear. We will have wood available for purchase. We ask you keep fires small for safety and use of any cooking stoves done carefully and wisely. WE REQUIRE THAT FIRES ARE DEAD OUT BEFORE YOU GO TO SLEEP, NO COALS, NO SMOKE AND ALL PROPANE TURNED COMPLETELY OFF!!!

This hidden gem is only 1/3 of a mile off the highway yet all you can hear is the flow of the water from Rock Creek which flows along the 2 acres. There is plenty of spots to toss your tent. Personally, I prefer the bank overlooking the stream. Cool your feet on a hot summer day in Rock Creek (the main attraction). Enjoy the evenings around the fire pit for an extra $15/day which includes the firewood. There are complimentary tables, BBQ, chairs. Did you know the coolest porta-party in the galaxy awaits your visit? Yep, true.
Attractions: Spirit Mountain Casino is only 4 miles away, The Oregon coast is a 25 minute drive as well as plenty of vineyards. Also enjoy 100+ miles of hiking trails. The trail head is only 1 mile from camp. I'm available to answer any questions you have and look forward to your visit.
We ask if the ground is wet (rain for 24+ hrs) you keep your car on the gravel driveway and not drive in the grass (causing ruts). Don't be a turd. Respect the Hideout. If you plan on partying and/or staying up late around the campfire, don't book this. I have neighbors and respect them. Go do your party booking elsewhere, please. Lastly, if you are bringing dogs, you'll most likely get a bit of barking from the dogs to the east for the 1st hour. I just want to be honest and warn you.

Although Short Sands Beach / Oswald State Park is close, it’s not really walkable. However, it is only two miles South on Hwy 101 to the parking lots from our gate. Most of the campsites are about a mile up the hill from our main entrance. So a total of about 3 miles to Shorty’s.
Fair warning: All of these sites are great for car camping and not great for tent camping. There is lots of rocks and not a lot of grass padding.
Lastly; there are no bathrooms! Please make sure you bring your own bathroom!
If we find any messes left we do charge a $250 fine. Thank you for for helping us keep our sites beautiful and safe for all!

Chris and Beth met and started dating in Indianapolis in 2009 where both were working on their graduate education. During their first date, Chris announced his goal of developing a vineyard and making wine. As the relationship evolved, Chris worked toward the goal by researching viticulture, attending classes and investigating potential vineyard sites. In summer of 2011, Chris and Beth got married and dove into the wine industry when they purchased a majestic 62 acre property in the foothills of the coastal mountain range in Yamhill County. Green Crest is an active Memorial Park (cemetery) adjacent to Highway 18 between Portland and the Oregon coast on the South side of Sheridan. This property makes a great stop over while en route to your final destination, but is also a great getaway if you'd just like to relax in a natural setting while having conveniences near by. **if you have an rv that you are planning to back into the site, please enter via the 'exit' as it will allow better positioning to back in. otherwise use the drive marked entrance.**
If you have young ones, the park next door has a playground and a stocked fish pond. We also have a pond on sight that is perfect for viewing birds, beaver and having morning coffee. You're also welcome to bring your kayak and or paddle boards to get out on the water for fishing or just floating the pond.
There is the occasional Deer, coyote and raccoons all around on the property.
Two minutes from your site, you will find 24 hour gas and diesel; Subway, Riverside Cafe, Bennie Huies Chinese and the local Grocery store. Did I say there is a Dairy Queen 5 minutes way?
Nearby Ballston Road offers a great rural road system from which to explore by bicycle. Points of interest both out in the wild and more metro are all within an hour drive. We can direct you to some little known sites that offer a great day trip.

Welcome to Riverside Camping on the Siletz River! Come and enjoy the peaceful setting riverside, under the large Spruce trees. We have a wide variety of wildlife including Otters and numerous birds. We are just 10 min from Lincoln City Beaches and about 20min to excellent hiking.
Our one designated site, closest to the river bank we call the Riverside Site. It can be reserved for up to 4 people. It can only accommodate smaller tents, campers, pop up trailers, small pod-type trailers and larger rigs up to 15'. has a rustic firepit and your own deck for viewing the river.
For groups of 5 or more or people or camping with large 10 person tents or trailers over 20', there will be an additional fee and you will need to set up camp in our Riverwood Site, about 150' from the riverbank. You will still have full access to the deck and firepit in the other site but, larger rigs cannot maneuver in the site without tearing up the grass and leaving ruts on our property. **Please note**When you make the reservation you will add an "Extra", ADDITIONAL CAMPSITE.
We have clean, indoor bathroom facilities that include a shower! It is in the downstairs of our house and is a separate apartment. There is a small living area to hang out if it is raining, a dining area, kitchenette with barista bar, microwave and small fridge if you need it. It is about 150' walk from the campsite. It is visible from the campsites but, still feels private.
We also offer our little Bunkie, the Glass House for an extra fee.
The Bunkie sleeps two comfortably. It has a nice mattress (Please bring your own sleeping bags), a comfy bench, a coat rack, remote control lights and a nice electric heater. There are curtains all around for privacy. You'll use the bathroom facilities in the apartment.
All of our guests have full access to our personal dock to get down to the water. Feel free to fish off the dock, swim, Kayak, SUP or just enjoy the evening on the dock.
Our property is about a 10 minute drive to the Ocean/Hwy 101, just south of Lincoln City.
There is hiking close by and miles of coastline to explore. We are happy to help you have the best experience at the coast...Just ask!

We have 2 camp sites and a vintage trailer available nestled in the trees across the open hay field where you can watch wildlife.
each site has access to the composting toilet, has their own picnic table, fire ring, access to water, and some extras like hay that can be used for under tents, kindling to help start your fire, a fire extinguisher, access to a propane fire ring during fire danger season, and a few yard games. we do have firewood available to purchase as well as farm fresh eggs.
the camp sites are seasonal and most will be closed for the wet winter months. they will be open from June thru October, depending on the weather we may need to adjust the access to the sites.
you are welcome to walk around the field during your stay, pick some blackberries, apples or plums but please be aware and careful as we do have some poison oak on the property. I encourage you to stay on a path.

Located an hour west of Portland through Oregons wine country. We are located in Scoggins valley which is home to Henry Hagg lake and the Scoggins valley park. The Lake offers a bunch of recreation including swimming , boating ,fishing ,hiking , biking and paddle board rentals. The camp site is situated on the bottom of my property a half mile from the lake. It is a fairly secluded campsite with room for up to 6 tents. Nestled in the woods there is a nice verity of sunny and shady spots a campfire spot, a picnic table and a porta potty. Sain Creek recreational area is just off our road at the lake with C- ramp another quarter of a mile around the lake. All of the lake is a park so you have to enter the park to come to our spot.

Although in the middle of the country woods, we are surprisingly only two and a half miles from the adorable and quaint town of Carlton. So beside the views, you’ll be alongside some fantastic eateries and outstanding winemakers.
Being raised in the community, and over ten years of experience in the local food and wine industry, I can give recommendations aplenty.

The property has been in our family since the late 60’s and has recently been transferred in ownership to the next generation! It’s been a large adjustment with many precious memories in tow. In hopes to carry on the legacy we opened up camp mid-summer 2021, and it’s a work in progress (as work normally is!), but has been a beautiful experience being in a position to share. There are two family homes on the property with people who truly admire this land!

Tranquil RV spot on our one acre property, an hour's drive from Portland, Corvallis or the Pacific Ocean and 45 minutes from Salem. Our mile long rural road is great for family bike rides, bird watching, picking blackberries and other fruit in the late summer. We are close to the Yamhill River for some kayaking or canoeing. Our property offers a quiet refuge from the hustle and bustle of the city and being away from city lights make us a great spot for some star gazing.
We recently finished building our passive Eco-home and are in the process of creating a permaculture food forest by planting lots of fruit trees and other perennials. We have a flock of 10 hens.
We want to share our rural little farm with traveling guests. We look forward to meeting you and sharing our favorite local spots.

We enjoyed the quiet and solitude during our 2-night visit to Rock Crick Acres.
Scott could not have been more helpful and kind.
The dogs on the property to the East barked often, but they usually stopped after a few minutes, and Scott did mention this beforehand.
The crick was not accessible to my elderly relative, but Scott did explain before I booked it that it may be difficult for someone with mobility issues to navigate the paths to the crick.
I only note it here so future campers are aware.
My dog enjoyed all the open space and all the different areas to explore. She had so much fun that she did not want to leave.
I did not want to leave either. What a beautiful place. Thanks for a great visit!

This is such an inviting camp with lots of little details to discover while you roam around. Having access to a porta potty is really nice and getting my camper van flat was a breeze with the land being very well kept and mostly flat all around. The dedicated fire pit was perfect for roasting hot dogs for dinner, and the sound of the creek nearby put us all to sleep. I would absolutely recommend camping here if you're looking for a cozy, family friendly spot.

Beautiful place to stay if being next to a cemetery doesn't bug you. Gorgeous views with picnic tables. Host welcomed us upon arrival and let us know to reach out if we needed anything.

This is a pretty cool stay!
I liked the view, the chickens and even the rooster!
During my stay the wind was a welcomed plus - kept any pesky flying bugs away!
Enjoyed the sunset and during my stay some cool Mexican music was happening from a neighbor - hey, I poured a glass of wine and took advantage of the free concert.
It was easy to find with the directions - long gravel road up to the camp, so your vehicle/trailer gets a bit dusty but nothing that a little soap and water can't take care of.
Close enuff to Beaverton and Portland for a drive in on a 2 day stay.
Be sure to bring a camp rug or 2 to lay over the weeds and grass, especially tenters.
No neighbors and you can feel secure leaving behind your gear for a day trip to Henry Hagg Lake (25min drive)

We had a wonderful couple of nights on Joel’s land. Despite being near a fairly busy road it felt quiet and private. The pond was a perfect place to sit and read and there were so many birds to watch and listen to. I would definitely stay there again.

A very beautiful, quiet, and simple spot. Need to be self-contained. We had a neighbor’s dog visit around 2am to bark his disapproval about our presence, but otherwise it was a lovely location. Very close to Wapato NWR, which was a fun added bonus.

We really enjoyed staying here. Joel was a great host. Very friendly and respectful. Made sure we were set and was available if we needed him. This site is located at the back of cemetery and less than a minute walk to the pond. The trailer areas is paved and level with 50amp power and water hookup. We have a converter plug for our 30amp trailer. We loved that there was a large area to set up our dog pen and that it was near the fire pit so the furbabies were always with us. The views are very pretty This site is very peaceful and we will definitely stay again.

This is a beautiful spot! We rented out Camp 1 & Camp 2 and had a whole section of river to ourselves.

Had a fantastic tent stay in A-56. It is next to a low beach entrance. One shower per bathroom but a proper shower building in the C-1/2 loop near the yurts for kids. A quieter tent loop in A loop without all the noise from diesel truck campers.

Fun campground right on the ocean. One dune between campground and the beach. Sand dollars and crabs all over the beach. Lovely spot to watch the sunset. Wooded campsites and open sites available. Flush toilets, water, and water disposal available. Trash and recycling only at campground exit. Picnic table and fire ring at each site. Be careful with wild animals - very daring raccoons kept trying to take our food at night.
