Welcome to Nestucca River Retreat, our small farm tucked away in South Tillamook County with private access to the Nestucca River. If you're looking for a quiet place to pitch a tent, build a campfire, spend the day fishing, swimming, tubing, or simply enjoying the fresh country air, you've found it. Each spacious campsite includes: * Fire pit * Two Adirondack chairs & small table * Plenty of room to spread out and relax Guests also have access to: * Private access to the Nestucca River for fishing, swimming, tubing, and relaxing * A communal volleyball field * A shared portable restroom While the campsites aren't directly on the river, our property extends beyond Blaine Road and includes private access to the Nestucca River, giving guests a peaceful place to cast a line, cool off, launch a tube for a relaxing float, or simply enjoy the water away from the crowds. Whether you're chasing salmon or steelhead, riding the scenic backroads, exploring nearby hiking trails, or taking a day trip to the Oregon Coast, our farm is a great basecamp for enjoying everything South Tillamook County has to offer. Cell service can be hit or miss depending on your carrier and can change within a half mile. Just something to keep in mind if you need to stay connected during your stay. **Please note:** * Campfires are permitted only when local fire restrictions allow. * Swimming, tubing, and all river activities are at your own risk. River conditions can change quickly, so please use caution. * An Oregon fishing license is required if you plan to fish the Nestucca River. * Please pack out what you pack in and help us keep the property clean. * Please respect the property, wildlife, and fellow campers during your stay. Nearby Destinations: * Oregon's Niagara Falls Trailhead (~8.5 miles) * Cape Lookout Trailhead (~17 miles) * Munson Creek Falls (~17 miles) * Cape Kiwanda (~20 miles) * Tillamook Creamery (~22 miles)

Tucked beneath the trees, Frog Pond Hideaway is our most secluded campsite. With natural shade in the morning and again in the afternoon and evening, it's an ideal spot for campers looking for privacy, cooler temperatures and a peaceful place to unwind.

The Overlook is an open campsite with views overlooking the garden and toward the Nestucca River. While it's the least secluded of our three campsites, you'll still enjoy a spacious setting and can often hear the frogs and other wildlife from the nearby pond, adding to the peaceful country atmosphere.

The Front Forty is our newest campsite, located in the front field closest to the church. It’s a spacious, open site with privacy along the north and south sides and fencing along the west end. It’s also our closest site to the Nestucca River, restroom and volleyball field. There is no shade at this site and you may hear some car activity from the neighboring church on Sunday mornings around 9:30am.

Frog Pond Meadow #2
We loved our weekend at Heidi's hipcamp. I booked two sites for my husbands 40th birthday and it was the perfect place for us to gather. The kids especially had the best time. Heidi is so generous with her space and was so kind and welcoming. Our kids got to visit the chickens and ducks, pick apples, make up their own volleyball variations, and explore the woods. Meanwhile the parents got to relax around the fire, play games, and catch up. We only spent a little time at the river since we were there on a rainy weekend, but I would love to come back on a hot day next summer. It's a gorgeous river. Thank you Heidi for welcoming us and sharing your beautiful property. We would love to come again.

We had an amazing four day stay and will definitely be back. The site well supported our group and provided plenty of opportunities to enjoy ourselves without evening leaving the property… we relaxed in the river, picked blackberries, played volleyball, sat by the fire, fed the chickens, and more… The hosts were so wonderful, accommodating, and knowledgeable of the area and community.

This spot is a dream. Heidi is a wonderful host and made everything so easy. You cant beat the fresh blackberries, lawn games, big open spaces, and an incredible private river and quiet nights under the stars here. I cant wait to come back!

We loved our time at the Nestucca River Ranch. Heidi and Travis greeted us on our first night—they are super friendly and made some fun suggestions for things to do in the area. We loved campsite #1, it was at the top of a hill looking down at the rest of the property and most secluded site on the property. There is one port-o-potty centrally located, a gaming field (volleyball/badminton), and easy river access. We attempted to float the River as recommended by the hosts, but found the river was too low and rocky to enjoy—but there is a lot of waterfront access where you can swim and play right off the property. Our dog enjoyed her off leash freedom! We will definitely be back—this was one of the best hipcamps we have stayed at!

Of all 7 sites I stayed at on my road trip, Heidi’s was the best. If you think you need it, Heidi has probably already provided it for you. Just across the road is access to the river to wade in and a short walk up the road is a swimming hole. Heidi provided fire wood, kindling, and an extinguisher to put out any loose embers. She also has a volleyball net set up and some baseballs, and gloves to play a few different games. In the morning Heidi was out tending to her garden and gave us peaches and zucchini. It was a very beautiful property with a farmhouse and picturesque tree line.

Had a wonderful time. The site was amazing and well prepped firewood was very close by and the hosts were very personable and conscious about making sure we enjoyed our stay. Not sure that vegetables from their garden is available year round but it was really sweet of them to share. If we go back that way again we will definitely be using this site again.

Beautiful, peaceful place! We were very happy to find this spot after striking out on dispersed camping in the area. Absolutely lovely, friendly, helpful hosts (thanks for the peaches!), gorgeous view, and just a perfectly quiet and safe place to be.

Sarah’s farm is so lovely! I had a great time in my tent on the hill with a beautiful view of the mountains. Loved the little extras like firewood & kindling set out for me, the cutest table & chairs set, a volleyball court, and river access (which you can hear from the campsite ❤️). And a big shout out for the best, clearest signage I’ve ever experienced with Hipcamp! I would definitely return to Sarah’s farm.

Loved this spot, camp site 1 was at the top of the property and easy to access. Pretty view and fairly level for our tent. Heidi and her husband went above and beyond for us during our stay - they are so sweet. Would definitely stay here again! Very quiet, peaceful, and the 3 camps sites are spread out.

My family and I loved tent camping on Heidi and Travis’ land (who were great hosts). It was beautiful and peaceful-we loved the sounds of the farm animals and frogs in the frog pond. My husband enjoyed fly fishing in the Nestucca River which has an access point on their property. It was a last minute booking that was a gem-highly recommend!
