Rock Crick Acres: Tent Hideout
Great creek
I only gave it an ok because I was told it was just going to be my son and one one other camper. Turns out it was a guy with two kids and they took most of the camping area. Then another guy shows up with three kids and my Peaceful camping trip turned into a rather noisy camping trip. The creek was great and easy to get to.

Highly recommend
Super easy to find! Some say google doesn’t get you there but honestly it took me straight to it. Can’t miss it. It’s a nice lil tuck away next to water. There are two camp spots by each-other and a Porter potty. I didn’t care much to being the one close to the potty as it does give off a smell during the hot summer but I put my tent as far away as possible from it and it worked. Scott was amazing at communicating and I was even able to score a late check out. I highly recommend this place, it’s clean and quiet and just wonderful!!! Will do it again.

Camping in grandma‘s backyard.
Let me start off by saying Scott, the host, is a very nice and straightforward individual. The creek behind the campsite is beautiful, quiet and serene. This is counter to the barking dogs on both sides of the campsite, the noise from the main road and the neighbors at the end of the gravel road. It really feels like you’re camping at grandma‘s house, but with around 10 dogs constantly barking. No lie!

Lots of barking dogs!
The site is pretty with a beautiful bubbling creek to listen to, wade in, catch crawdads, explore, and even take a dunk. Scott, the host was excellent and responded fast.
Unfortunately, I don’t recommend this place because there is constant dog barking!! The site is in between two neighbors who both have several dogs each, as well as distant properties that all have dogs. If you want a quiet, Peaceful, remote getaway this is NOT it. The dogs started barking at 6:30 am, all through the day, and distant dogs barking late in the middle of the night. I hate to have to rate it this way because none of this is the fault of the host. The host and the site was excellent- if only there weren’t the dogs.

We had a great time. It was a perfect spot with a mix of sun and shade. The creek was inviting and the fire pit was awesome. We would love to camp at this spot again. The neighbors dogs bark for a bit when you arrive but they settle down after a while. We would stay here again for sure.

Scott has created a really lovely spot for campers! The land is lush and green and lots of open space. Plus you can’t beat the sound of the creek babbling by. While you can’t see the creek from your campsite, it’s a short trek down to the bank where kids could plan or you could set your chair in and relax.

Easy to find. Beautiful grounds. The dog had a blast. We played frisbee for hours. We took our pop up but beware of steep drive. Definitely needed 4wd(H) on way out. We will be back!

Rock Crick Acres: Tent Hideout
The camping area was open & spacious and next to a small river you could see & hear. There were nice trees for protection & shade. It had a nice fire pit area for cooking & sitting. There were two paths down to the river which wasn't very deep or fast & you could walk out into it which our dogs loved. There was a port-o-potty close by which was clean & cute. The only one mild negative was the next door neighbors 4 dogs would start barking but it was mainly due to our 2 dogs. The owner of the camping property asked the neighbors if they could take measures to keep their dogs from barking which they did. The owner was very nice and did things to make the property very charming & inviting. The overall experience was very positive and we will come back.

Awesome spot for my girlfriend and I! Perfect fire pit, and more than enough coverage from the rain! Super clean porta potty, a bunch of fire wood available. Bring some extra dry wood to get the fire going, overall fun and great experience!

Great spot about 30min from Lincoln city. Easy access to the stream. Scott is a great host and answered all questions very quickly as well as offered advice on activities in the area (Mountain biking in my case). Definitely would camp here again.

Family Camping Trip
We had a great weekend at Scotts property! Our 4 kids had a blast exploring the trails and creek. Beautiful land and even in the rain we enjoyed our time! The only downside wasn’t any fault of the owners… We also had our dog with us, but the 4 dogs in the property next door made it pretty impossible to let him run around as they would bark incessantly at the fence whenever they were out.

This spot was perfect. Next to the creek which is more like a beautiful roaring river, the best campfire and lots of grass to play frisbee. Scott was super responsive, kind & helpful. The neighbor has a lot of adorable dogs that bark occasionally but seem super friendly. We took the wrong turn and there are definitely some sketchy areas not too far from their perfectly safe serene space so pay attention to his directions. The hike was great too. It was 4.33 miles to and from our car.

This was a great tent spot on our trip! Host Scott was prompt in responses and directions were clear. Camping by the water and the fire pit was great, I wish we had time to do more hiking here, it’s very scenic. All that and a clean sticker covered porta pot!

Rock Crick Acres: RV Hideout
I had a great stay at this campsite! It's easy to get to, and so peaceful and relaxing. There's a fire pit, a cute trail through the garden, an amazing creek, and a perfect spot for RVs. Smaller rigs can park close to the creek when the grass is dry, and it's such a nice place to camp.
Scott was really helpful, and I would definitely recommend this campsite!
