This is a gorgeous park-like RV campground situated between the trees of the arboretum. NO TENTS, please. Also we have NO PUBLIC RESTROOMS. Beautiful view of the mountains and forests here in western Washington. We are close to Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Rainier and several lakes.
There are walking trails all around the site. The 12 acre campground is located on a 136 acre property that is an active Christmas tree farm. Trails continue throughout the tree farm.
Many trails have a view of the Tilton River, which can be reached via a challenging 3/4 mile trail. Sites are on 12 acres planted with many different species of trees that are about 30 years old. Giant Redwoods, Cedars, and Maples are just a few of the varieties present. Part of the farm is still a working Christmas tree farm.
The trails are wide and grassy. The old logging road that we use as a trail to the river has an elevation change of about 500 feet, the trail can be quite challenging. Bear Creek empties into the Tilton river at the end of the trail.
There is an ART GALLERY where you can see the host's artwork and purchase a piece if you wish. Originals and prints are both available. This is upstairs through the check-in entry area lobby. Tilton River Studio Gallery.
Three sites have electrical hookups. Every site has a water spigot (use a pressure regulator if you want to hook up). No restrooms or sewer hookups. Garbage disposal site (dumpster) available Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Our rental property was once a mini Rail Road with full size locomotive's, train cars, pumper cars and more. My dad & grandpa layed all the tracks & put together the buildings in the 1970's. Once done my grandma sold tickets to the tourist and my grandpa ran the engine around the 7 acre oval track pulling a train car full of happy tourist through the woods over the train bridge and past the big water tower back to their vehicles so they could finish their journies with a drive to Mt. Rainier. There is a lot of history on this property for our family and we hope by sharing it with others they will be able to experience some fun here as well. Our quiet time is 10pm

The porta potty is located at the second driveway behind the privacy fence.
Campers in site 6 and 7 can walk through the woods on maintained trails to access the porta potty or drive back out to the main driveway. The sites are large and spaced out.

Currently we have two full hookup sites that are smack dab in the middle of this sleepy mountain town that also has big plans of it's own. We are a minute walk to a coffee stand or burger joint and no more than 5 minute walk to either Packwood Brewing or Longmire Springs Brewing! Whether you are looking for a basecamp to hit White Pass, Mt Rainier NP, Gifford Pinchot NF or the countless other activities, we have the spot for you.
We have two spots in a 60x40 area. It's enough area to have an RV and tow vehicle for both sites. We're working on fencing the site for added privacy this summer and continue to make other improvements. Contact us for group reservations.

All of the sites have a ton of space, so there is ample privacy and quiet. Entire property is imaculately maintained, and the foliage and landscaping is amazing. "Arboretum" is an entirely accurate description!
Walks around the property were a great way to start each day, although we didnt get to the river this trip. We'll make a point of it next time.
Barb and Terry stopped by on our arrival to check in with the rules and to see if we needed anything, but were not obtrusive at all and both super friendly.
In all, it was a relaxing, peaceful stay and we will definitely be back!

What a rare treat to have a place like this all to ourselves with full hookups! We've been full-time traveling for over 4 years and I can't impress enough what a pleasure it was to stay at Kristin's property. The location is perfect for exploring the national park and it's a short drive to Elbe if you want to ride the train. Backing our 37' super c was a breeze, as the road is wide and obstacle free. We loved it so much I looked into extending (unfortunately some lucky camper was already booked after us).
Some folks in the reviews complained about cattails and grass blocking the view of the pond but for us that was a MAJOR bonus, for two reasons - first, we have a dog that loves all water and immediately has to jump in. This kept her from needing multiple daily rinse offs and possibly drinking water that could give her GI issues. Second, it added to the privacy of the property because the other side of the pond is a large public access area. We appreciated the extra privacy!

What a gem of a spot. Awesome mountain views, amazing sunsets that highlight the very flat parking area. This hideaway has all the hookups, water, 30a,,50a,, and a 110 plug. Sewer as well. Super easy to get in and out of,, any vehicle friendly. Greg was very accommodating, and made sure i had what i needed.
Definitely a hipcamp i would highly recommend.

Barb & Terry were such lovely hosts! Barb greeted us at check-in, and we got to see (and purchase!) her beautiful art. We also were able to purchase some of Terry’s honey. The property was perfect - so lush and so private. We walked to the swimming hole for a quick dip before settling into our nook. It was so quiet and peaceful. We are already excited to go back!

Four Fathers RV Park was great, check-in was very simple. The facility is clean and well maintained. I really liked the privacy fence completely surrounding the park, it gave a very secure felling. The park is well located for visiting Mt. Rainier National Park.

This was a wonderful spot! The grounds were impeccable, with a good view, plenty of space in each spot, and very well kept hookups. The location was so convenient being in walking distance to several breweries and restaurants. On top of it, the location is right outside Mt Rainer National Park, providing easy and quick access to the park. I will definitely go back, and try to bring more friends to also stay in some of the cabins on site. Jeremy was super responsive and friendly. An overall excellent experience!!

Everything was clean and beautiful and well maintained. The signage was great and easy to read and find your spot. Being surrounded by thousands of Christmas trees and summer is pretty cool. Hosts we're communicative and really nice.

We absolutely loved Scott’s camp spot. Very private, wide open and with a peek-a-boo view of the mountain. Short walk down to the river and you can hear it but not see it from the campsite. Located in the midst of a gorgeous old growth forest.
We had plenty of room for our 36’ trailer and two vehicle but it is definitely a tight fit between the trees up the drive and we had to put it in four wheel to get out of the steepest section of driveway.
Our only criticism is that the road noise is very apparent and loud in the campsite. Nothing can be done for that because the road runs very close to the property. Just an fyi for other campers that you can absolutely hear cars along the busy road.

Probably one of the best camping sites you could have anywhere: spacious, good privacy (all to yourself), level ground, full hookup, very close to national park entrance.
My friend who has camped 5-6 years said this is the best private camp site she has been to so far.

Beautiful mountain and wildflowers
Arrive early in the morning to avoid parking crowds at Paradise. Instead we enjoyed the wildflowers at the Stevens Canyon overlook and waterfall at the Box Canyon picnic area trail to Middle Stevens Creek Falls.

Mt. Rainier is just incredible. Lines and traffic can be long, but it was absolutely worth it. Arriving early (before 7:00) or late (after 5:00) on weekends worked well for us.
