This is an established RV parking place that has been privately used, but is now made available for others to use. Please note: there are no restroom or toilet facilities provided; you must provide a vehicle with a bathroom. The roads leading to the site are scheduled to be plowed after snowstorms, but the property itself will not be plowed. Packwood does receive snow on occasion, but usually not a lot. The real snow happens at White Pass and Mt. Rainier. However, please watch weather reports and come prepared.

It's a beautiful campsite in a community of cabins in the woods. It's very private and quiet on a cul-de-sac. The covered picnic table is great!! We had no trouble parking our 24 foot travel trailer. We used the full hookups, water, 30 amp service, and the septic! Very handy. It was so great to not be in a campground! It is close to town and the Cowlitz River. We also drove into Mt Rainier Park for the day. It is true that if you want to find a parking spot you must get there by 8:30. We got the last spot in the lower parking lot at 8:30.

The property is very clean, very quiet, and private. It is surrounded by big beautiful fir trees. The firepit was wonderful and I loved the tree rounds as stools. The location was perfect for day trips to Mt Rainier. Packwood is nearby if you wanted to step out for dinner or an icecream cone! My german shepherd appreciated her freedom of not having to be on a leash. If you have a larger RV there are two trees that could be tricky to navigate when parking but the site is very spacious. Highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet peaceful getaway. Brandon was very responsive to my questions and super easy to work with. This property is a great find!

The spot was quiet and felt very private. Make sure to back down the driveway if you have a 3/4 ton truck or larger. It took a while to get turned around. Other than that it was great.

We loved the privacy of the location and how close it is to Mt. Rainier. We also enjoyed such a large fire pit. There was a minor issue when we first arrived but Brandon was quick to respond to my text and prompt to rectify the issue. Overall, we were very pleased.

It's a nice piece of property, power, water and sewage was nice, has a very nice fire pit and even though we brought our own wood there's a lot of wood on site you can purchase and the pieces looked very big. Even has two cool tree's that's perfectly spaced for a hammock.. the provided table with cover and the string lights was a nice touch.

We really enjoyed our 2-night stay at this, our very first Hipcamp! We successfully backed in our 34 foot travel trailer, which took a little time but it wasn't as difficult as some of the other reviews said. although, my husband is really good at that sort of thing.If it was at night, it would definitely be harder. We loved the privacy and the wooded area where we felt completely free and happy. We bought some of the firewood which was really nice, large pieces. The only minor difficulty we had was getting our Starlink to function because of the coverage of the beautiful trees! We had a great time though and would totally recommend this site to other campers who want to be near Mount Rainier with lots of privacy and full hookups!

To Many trees and not really enough room to maneuver 25 foot trailer without a stressful time in dark . Back in bring lots of sewer line if you want to hook up with 25 foot. Dont bring anything bigger. I wouldn't recommend 25 foot. I drive truck and trailer evday for 30 years. 22 foot max with sĥortbed truck. They could get rid of 2 trees and make it more user freindly. Loved the seclusion.

Site is level and well graded. Everything is clean and well organized. Sewer and power worked great. The lit covered structure is a nice touch. Communication from the Owner was fantastic. I have a travel trailer 30ft in total length towed by my F150 truck and it is a very tricky site to maneuver into. Some of the trees that are adjacent to the driveway made it extremely difficult to back the trailer into the site. No option to drive in head first due to limited turnaround space. Better suited for a 25' trailer .

This spot was perfect for my family of 5! It is a great site for anyone looking to travel near white pass. The site is kept very clean and has a lot of room for family activities. The host was very communicative and responded quickly with answers to questions. Highly recommend for anyone looking to get away from the busy city life and be out in the woods!

Great spot! Lots of room. Full hookups! Our 32 ft trailer got in and out just fine but I wouldnt try to pull in in the dark! Get there early!! Great cell service with Tmobile. Blazing mobile data speeds. We stayed here to ski at White pass which is about 20 mins away. Just far enough to get out of the freezing weather with the trailer.

Great spot only 15 minutes from Mt Rainier and about an hour from Paradise Visitors Center. The camp spot is nestled in a small cul-de-sac with a few cabins around and generally quiet. We heard the occasional 4x4 cruising the roads which is pretty common given the amount of trail riding options down the road. Highly recommend if your looking for a convenient location to the park while enjoying the luxury of full hook ups.

Nice clean and fairly private spot in the shade. Great hookups. We didn't use the firepit or the covered picnic table area, but they both looked nice. The pack your trash out was a first for us. We camped there five nights and cook in our trailer, so keeping a couple days worth of trash inside was not ideal. I asked for suggestions and was told perhaps gas stations was a solution. I did not feel comfortable putting household trash in any business locations. We drove 35 minutes to the closest landfill station, and they had a $20 minimum. I might have made a different decision knowing this. I also felt the price was just a little on the high side. Otherwise, timely responses and a clean and shady location worked well for us.

Pulled in w 31 ft Thor outlaw. Pretty easy in / out. Hookups near lighted shelter w picnic table. Very close to nearby park access. Ashford not far down the back road, sunrise bout an hour w construction. Excellent spot quiet. Elk wandering in the area.

We spent 4 days at the site and enjoyed it. Our dogs were able to be outside with us off leash to just hangout, and that was nice. I would recommend staying there. There is a rental cabin next door, but there was enough trees to provide privacy, so was not an issue for us. Additionally, the host provided excellent communication, so the site was easy to find. Had everything we needed and lots of shade. Such a big space. Our children enjoyed playing and running around the site. Had all the hookups and a nice fire pit. The table with the hanging lights was a nice extra touch.
