Camp Cedar Creek
9 sites · RVs, Tents37 acres · Sandy, OR***PLEASE CLICK "CONTINUE READING" AND READ EVERYTHING BEFORE BOOKING OR ASKING QUESTIONS.*** Hi! We're Lauren and Jeremy (and Juno). We met through a van life community, and fell in love on the road, camping at different national parks and Hipcamp sites from Jeremy's RAV4 (our first month dating was spent traveling up and down the west coast). We are now the proud new owners of Camp Cedar Creek, an incredible 37-acre property that was built from the hands of the owner before us over the last 40 years. We're so honored to carry on his vision of this magical place, and share it with as many people exploring the Pacific Northwest as we can. We hope your stay here will bring you a deep sense of peace, inspire creativity, give you whatever it is you're in need of at this moment in time. Take a stroll down Cedar Creek, sit and read by one of the seven ponds, get your heart pumping on the hilly trails on the north side of the property, pick as many blackberries as you can find if in season. We can't wait to host you! Learn more about this land: Located right off Hwy 26, directly in between the city of Portland and the peak of Mt. Hood, you'll find the most peaceful corner of the Pacific Northwest for you to pitch your tent or park your van. We are conveniently located just 7 minutes from downtown Sandy, known for its food trucks, outdoor gear shops, and the famous Joe's Donuts. Though we are right off a busy highway, all you'll hear are the tranquil sounds of Cedar Creek's flowing waters and the chirping birds who live in the cedars overhead. The small clearings throughout the property provide natural privacy for our campers, and the 37 acres sprinkled with trails and ponds offer exploration and a sense of wonder we hope you'll enjoy. NOTE: 4WD IS NOW REQUIRED. Due to the traffic we've experienced recently, the steep gravel roads can be tough for some cars and rigs so for everyone's safety, we are restricting access to vehicles equipped to handle the terrain. We're sorry for the inconvenience. If you've been here before and know you can get by with your car, feel free to book again, but please do not message us asking us to advise on the vehicle you have. If we have to dig you out, we will charge a $200 fee. *Cell service: There is an AT&T tower on our property so that gets the best service by far. Verizon is pretty good. T-mobile is very spotty.

Timber Sand's
4 sites · RVs, Tents52 acres · Cloverdale, ORTimbersands is a 52 acre organic farm on the Oregon Coast, I started this project in 2022 with the goal of growing fruits and vegetables year round, with the help of greenhouses and the temperate coastal climate. The property has a long history as an original 1910 homestead that began as a cranberry farm and later a blueberry farm. Now it is mostly a natural coastal forest with some sunny pastures, gardens and winding creeks. Located 6 miles north of Pacific City and less than a mile from Sand Lake beaches and recreation area. Enjoy a dispersed camping atmosphere without the hassle of neighbors right next door. Please note there are free range chickens and other farm animals, as well as wild elk and deer. If you have pets that chase or attack animals they need to be on leash at all times, but they are always welcome. Filtered and UV treated spring water for fill ups. Brand new weekly cleaned portable toilet. Please pack out any trash. Firewood available on request.

The Arboretum at Bear Canyon West
16 sites · RVs12 acres · Cinebar, WAThis is a gorgeous park-like campground situated between the trees of the arboretum. Beautiful view of the mountains and forests here in western Washington. We are close to Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Rainier and several lakes. There are walking trails all around the site. The 12 acre campground is located on a 136 acre property that is an active Christmas tree farm. Trails continue throughout the tree farm. Many trails have a view of the Tilton River, which can be reached via a challenging 3/4 mile trail. Sites are on 10 acres planted with many different species of trees that are about 25 years old. Giant Redwoods, Cedars, and Maples are just a few of the varieties present. Part of the farm is still a working Christmas tree farm. The trails are wide and grassy. There is an old logging road that we use as a trail to the river. With an elevation change of about 500 feet, the trail can be quite challenging. Bear Creek empties into the Tilton river at the end of the trail. There is an ART GALLERY where you can learn to pound flowers, see the host's artwork and get a cup of coffee! This is upstairs above the shop, right on the property. Tilton River Studio Gallery. Member of ARTrails of Southwest Washington. Every site has a water spigot (use a pressure regulator if you want to hook up). No restrooms or sewer hookups. Garbage disposal site available Memorial Day to Labor Day. We look forward to hosting you!

Cowlitz River Rentals
27 sites · RVs, Tents70 acres · WAWELCOME to Cowlitz River Rentals! Sites are listed as: -Individual (ind) - up to 6 people -Small Group (sm group) - up to 16 people -Large Group (lg group) - up to 30 people We have 9 options for Individual, 7 options for Small Group, and 5 options for Large Group. Some of these are different options for the same site. They are not necessarily in order. Please scroll through. Not all sites can accommodate groups. Some sites are not feasible for large trailers. Click on a site for the description and more details. More site pics coming soon. We offer some of the most beautiful scenery in western Washington. Here you will find the peaceful quiet of being "away from it all", yet in reality you are only a little over a mile from the local grocery store, restaurants, and gas stations along Hwy 12 in Randle. Randle is a gateway to many other outdoor areas and activities including Mt. Rainier, Mt. Adams, and Mt. St. Helens. You can feel safe leaving your camp set up while you take day excursions. We have sites scattered across 70 acres. Your perfect camping site may be found in the fields, in the shade of the trees, by the river, in view of Mt. Adams, or a combination of these. We have space to accommodate one person or large groups. You can be assured plenty of space for privacy and quiet, even if other campers are in the vicinity. We currently host newly developed, private river access, camp areas on the upper Cowlitz River. ("Newly developed" means that the brush and briars were pushed away and there is dirt remaining.) We are mowing and clearing limbs to try to make things easy to get around and look nice, but this has been a cattle grazing pasture for the past 100 years. It is also flood plain, so we get a fresh covering of river silt almost every year. HipCamp shows us as having 22 sites, but that is because some sites have more than one option to book. However, there are ONLY 13 site locations strategically spread across this large acreage, each with its own "personality" and benefits. The property has a TWO MILE perimeter.....there is plenty of room! PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION FOR EACH SITE to find out what type of vehicle it can handle. Some are tent only. Even though the HipCamp site map may look like the property could be crowded, we monitor our registrations and limit bookings in an additional effort to maintain privacy and a peaceful atmosphere. We value being in the outdoors, with the feeling of "getting away", without having the rules, restrictions, and crowds of typical campground areas.... we figure you do too. The Google Earth picture used to pinpoint site locations is a few years old. We have been clearing site areas of underbrush and briars. New pics will be added as we get them. Please feel free to ask questions about any site. Most areas can be accessed with 2wd vehicles, although certain areas may not be sketchy for something with low clearance. Some sites are more friendly to larger trailers than others. Please read the descriptions and ask questions if you are unsure. We have four separate riverbars, some with sandy beach areas. There is plenty of river space for all. Ask us about river floating and kayak options. Let us know if you have a special group event. We are very flexible and can help you create the situation that would suit your group the best. Pets are welcome, but be aware that coyotes, bobcat, and cougar have been sited in the valley. There are also eagles and hawks to be aware of for smaller animals. Feel free to reach out with questions before booking to make sure all of your needs can be accommodated. Things to be considered: Need for outside toilets, need for campfire wood, need for water, types of vehicles, your camping goal (group get together or total solitude with peace and quiet), quick easy access to the main road or camping way off the path, best pet areas, best kid friendly areas, ect. We welcome your questions. Our goal is to help you make great memories!

Dragons Gate Gardens & Wilds
15 sites · RVs, Tents126 acres · Tenino, WATenino, the area we are in is where the First Nations People used as the Gathering Grounds. The Europeans when they came with their railroad chose to continue that tradition. Tenino is ground zero for the measurement of where one is on the railroad. We fell in love with our farm with its much untouched acres (not know any chemicals for the last 25 years) to create a place where people can gather and reconnect with life's natural beauty. We are certified organic, Salmon Safe certified, and pesticide free. Dragons' Gate Gardens is home to many giant crystals and here their beauty works delightfully with the land. The area has gently rolling hills filled with wildflowers during the earlier part of the Summer. Dragons Gate Gardens and Wilds has a hundred and twenty acres to explore. The Skookumchuck River is a little over a mile away where you can enjoy a waterfall and walk along the river with low bank where one can get into the water. Doing so is a great favorite of our guests. There is a giant crystal housed in a gazebo that overlooks the surrounding fields and woods. Time to meditate with the giant crystal in the gazebo can be booked with Kathleen. We are wild and woolly. We provide a place to experience nature as it simply is. We privilege pollinators above human aesthetics. Wildflowers abound, including various dandelions which many are edible and healing plants. We encourage converting from lawns to meadow lands being supportive of wild birds and insects. If you like it wild we are the place for you. This is not a resort or English style garden. Tall grass, wild flowers and trees fill the land around you to give you a feeling of full immersion in Nature.

Portland has long been a favorite among nature-lovers and for good reason: although it’s very much a city, Portland offers easy access to some of the prettiest natural areas in the Pacific Northwest, from the rugged Oregon Coast to the sunny high desert of Central and Eastern Oregon. As such, it’s a great place to visit by RV. While you can’t technically park your RV for overnight stays in the city, plenty of people have enough land (or large enough driveways) to accommodate RV guests. Don’t know anyone in Portland? No problem;  there’s no shortage of private RV sites as well as RV campgrounds both right in the city and in nearby parks. Many of Oregon’s state parks have RV sites with full hook-ups; popular spots in the Portland area include Oxbow Regional Park to the west of town and Ainsworth State Park in the Columbia River Gorge.

Hipcamp is created with ❤️ and hope for our future.
