Beautiful property with a view! Site has everything you need and well maintained. Crystal and her husband were very attentive and gave the best recommendations for food in the area. There dog was adorable as well.

Crystal and Dustin are the kindest and most inviting people we’ve interacted with on Hipcamp. They were communicative and accommodating. We stayed for 4 weeks June-July. The property is perched on a ridge overlooking the town of Newberg, with beautiful views across the valley. There are two large open areas behind the Hipcamp site for pets to roam around off-leash. There is a road up the hill from the property and with no fenced in area, you may want to leash your pet if they are overly zealous explorers. Wifi was ok for basic internet browsing. We utilized our Starlink for work/video calls which worked well given the tree cover. Hook-ups are a bit away from the pad, so make sure you have at least a 15ft sewer hose or 2 depending on your camper’s configuration. The owner does run his business out of the garage adjacent the site, but there was only an administrative worker a few days a week and occasionally people picking up/dropping off equipment. Neither were ever a bother to us and we never heard any noise from the visitors or workers. Great area with tons of wineries, restaurants, and hiking. Short 1-2 hour drives to the coast or Mt Hood. All in all, would absolutely recommend!

Crystal and her husband were communicative, friendly and easy to work with. They have a beautiful property with a lovely view of wine country. It’s a great location for those wanting a place to relax and still be close to town.
I didn’t do my due diligence and ask about the actual camping spot so I didn’t realize it would be so close to the main house. It is on a concrete pad with full hook ups which was great although as noted in the listing and photos it is next to the workshop which wasn’t being used while we were there so that wasn’t an issue. My husband is a bit more reserved and felt that we were too close to their personal space since it is just behind the main house. Other than when they greeted us upon our arrival they gave us privacy and space so it wasn’t anything they did or said it was just a matter of personal preference.
They do have a turnaround loop that has plenty of space to setup if you either don’t need hookups or have long enough cord/hose so you can be further away from the main house, assuming they would be ok with that.
It was our first time using Hipcamp so I wasn’t too sure what to expect. Now I know to ask more questions. Regardless this is a great spot with lovely hosts and I would definitely recommend!

Noisy, Dirty and Unwelcoming

I arrived to find a man standing on the upper level of the garage, silently watching me. When he came down to instruct me on how to park, he didn’t introduce himself. I still don't know his name. I never saw or met Crystal.
I was asked to run my hookups under the stairs to not impede visitors to his workshop. I had to crawl under the stairs and around a cinderblock, a bag of soil and a hose. The water hookup was behind some steel components, and I had to park very close to the stairs for my sewer hose to reach, leaving little space to open the compartment door.
Parked next to a workshop with people coming and going 7 days a week, talking loudly, yelling, stomping up and down the stairs, running power tools, workers coming at 7 AM to load their truck, parking inches from my RV. Loud music day and night, whistling for his dog right outside my window - which caused my dogs to bark. A constant busy-ness of activity all day every day that made it a very unpleasant environment. The road is busy, noisy and narrow with no shoulder or bike lane so there's no place safe to walk my dogs.
They did not pick up their dog waste - some within 10 feet of my RV door that just got left there, so you really had to watch where you step. There was also trash strewn on the property that never got picked up.
I have never felt so unwelcome anywhere as I did here. I ended up leaving after a week, even though I paid for 20 days. They did refund the unused portion of my stay, so I’ll give them that.

Excellent place to park our trailer and be able to be in close proximity to Newberg. Very easy to park with a complete turnaround on their property for our 30 foot trailer. Full hooks up were so nice to have. Our girls enjoyed their puppy Pablo, who would come to visit occasionally. Amazing views and very kind hosts. Would absolutely stay here again!

Beautiful views and perfect setting! Thanks to Crystal and family for making our stay enjoyable. Full hookups and great WiFi! The driveway was steep, but RV spot was level and on asphalt...perfect for our 25' motorhome! Glad we unhooked our tow car before we came though! Highly recommend! Again...appreciate you, Crystal!

This spot was lovely! Nice view of newberg, plenty of space for the RV. Crystal was a very communicative host and very hospitable. They have a pull through that worked well for our 20
and 23 foot trailers. They had power and hook ups and enough space to spread out. We were able to set up a camp fire area and a big net tent. Super close to several wineries. The road getting there has a few sharp turns but is worth the trip.
