New update , I don't currently have enough firewood to accommodate everybody . I'm working on it and hopefully we'll provide that service in the near future but in the meantime I have an address of a friend that sells firewood bundles for $5 each very close by . This is their address . 3904 Tillamook River Road. Please be careful when using Google maps, for whatever reason it has taken several people to other places other than mine. I posted a picture of the entrance of my property, hopefully this will help. Hurlys Hideaway is a very nice location located approximately 2 miles from the town of Tillamook. Very close to the beach Sand Lake various Rivers for fishing kayaking swimming Etc. Approximately 4 MI from Netarts Oceanside area, Netarts Bay, Cape Mears. A very nice location to be able to access all of these activities in Tillamook County. My land is Timber, some clearings, we'll see how this goes I'm just getting started. Also, I just learned that the transient tax for Tillamook Oregon is an additional 10% and I hate to do this but I'm going to have to raise my prices $5. If you are coming from Town, I'm 2 mi. from the hospital west on hwy. 131. Look for the purple Minnesota Vikings bus shack. I also put up a hipcamp sign just up my driveway a bit. If you are coming from the south on Fraiser road, turn right when you come to hwy. 131. I'm less than a quarter mile on your left. Also a heads up lately I've had a few people that are having a hard time booking and I learned from another camper if you're staying one night you actually have to select two days it includes the day you check out I just experienced that with another camper so just a bit information I don't know if hip camp changed something or what, but if you're staying one night select two days and it'll work.

*Please note, while we have no direct neighbors, we are in a narrow river canyon. There is an active farm and wedding venue across the river. You may hear distant noise of their operations or events, depending on the season. There is also a quarry across the road that operates M-F, from 8a-3p that sometimes can be heard sporadically throughout the day.

There have been cougar, bear, and elk sightings, so please don’t leave food out and be careful!
Although Short Sands Beach / Oswald State Park is close, it’s not really walkable. However, it is only two miles South on Hwy 101 to the parking lots from our gate. Most of the campsites are about a mile up the hill from our main entrance. So a total of about 3 miles to Shorty’s.
Fair warning: All of these sites are great for car camping and not great for tent camping. There is lots of rocks and not a lot of grass padding.
Lastly; there are no bathrooms! Please make sure you bring your own bathroom!
If we find any messes left we do charge a $250 fine. Thank you for for helping us keep our sites beautiful and safe for all!

During their first date, Chris announced his goal of developing a vineyard and making wine. Located an hour west of Portland through Oregons wine country. We are located in Scoggins valley which is home to Henry Hagg lake and the Scoggins valley park. The Lake offers a bunch of recreation including swimming , boating ,fishing ,hiking , biking and paddle board rentals. The camp site is situated on the bottom of my property a half mile from the lake. It is a fairly secluded campsite with room for up to 6 tents. Nestled in the woods there is a nice verity of sunny and shady spots a campfire spot, a picnic table and a porta potty. Sain Creek recreational area is just off our road at the lake with C- ramp another quarter of a mile around the lake. All of the lake is a park so you have to enter the park to come to our spot.

All of Rock Crick Acres is on a stream!!!!! Who doesn't love water? This hidden gem is only 1/3 of a mile off the highway yet all you can hear is the flow of the water from Rock Creek which flows along the 2 acres. There is plenty of spots to toss your tent. Personally, I prefer the bank overlooking the stream. Cool your feet on a hot summer day in Rock Creek (the main attraction). Enjoy the evenings around the fire pit for an extra $15/day which includes the firewood. There are complimentary tables, BBQ, chairs. Did you know the coolest porta-party in the galaxy awaits your visit? Yep, true.
Attractions: Spirit Mountain Casino is only 4 miles away, The Oregon coast is a 25 minute drive as well as plenty of vineyards. Also enjoy 100+ miles of hiking trails. The trail head is only 1 mile from camp. I'm available to answer any questions you have and look forward to your visit.
We ask if the ground is wet (rain for 24+ hrs) you keep your car on the gravel driveway and not drive in the grass (causing ruts). Don't be a turd. Respect the Hideout. If you plan on partying and/or staying up late around the campfire, don't book this. I have neighbors and respect them. Go do your party booking elsewhere, please. Lastly, if you are bringing dogs, you'll most likely get a bit of barking from the dogs to the east for the 1st hour. I just want to be honest and warn you.

Just outside of McMinnville you will be welcomed to an area of towering 60ft Ash, Alder, Maple, Oak and both Grand and Douglas Fir. The property is very secluded at the end of a wooded valley and only a few camping spots are opened. The tree canopy keeps the underbrush in check while providing the tree shadows you will seek for Bird watching, local animal life and quality of camping not found outside of the open camping area in the middle of the largest state park. Turning at the Dairy Queen on 99 before sheridan and 10 minutes later you are at the access drive, then to the right of the split on a 1/4 mile shared wooded drive is an open gate, a few trees and an entrance to an old logging road to take you down to a small grove with seclusion and gentle breezes coming from up the year round spring fed stream nearby. The road leads on down to the crossing being restored, some natural photo options and nothing but native oregon plants and shaded grass for a picnic. 2 hiking options are avalible, and one can be guided from there and at the far back end of the property is a barn and a few animals if they want to learn about small animals. The property is very secluded at the end of a wooded valley It is 21 acre forested lot behind a 20 acre forested lot in front and 3 100's acre parcelsaround it without direct view into the camping spots ( minus sunrise oaks that has one side exposed 100 feet away for max sun).

We have 2 camp sites and a vintage trailer available nestled in the trees across the open hay field where you can watch wildlife.
each site has access to the composting toilet, has their own picnic table, fire ring, access to water, and some extras like hay that can be used for under tents, kindling to help start your fire, a fire extinguisher, access to a propane fire ring during fire danger season, and a few yard games. we do have firewood available to purchase as well as farm fresh eggs and ice.
the camp sites are seasonal and most will be closed for the wet winter months. they will be open from June thru October, depending on the weather we may need to adjust the access to the sites.
you are welcome to walk around the field during your stay, pick some blackberries, apples or plums but please be aware and careful as we do have some poison oak on the property. I encourage you to stay on a path.

We have a tasting room onsite where we serve cider, perry and wine that we make here (open Fri-Sun, 3-9pm in summer). Lots of great bird watching, beautiful gardens and great backdrop of the coast Range. We host a summer concert series, usually on Saturdays, so those days are blocked. This was such a great spot! I was in a travel trailer (this place only has water and electric), and loved it. Not being a super skilled backer-upper, it took me a few tries to get settled but as soon as I was, the stay was delightful. The spot is on the property of the cemetery so the neighbors are quiet (🤣) — can’t imagine people would have a problem with this, but know they do! It truly was incredibly peaceful. We enjoyed the Canada geese flying in, the super sweet blackberries growing a few steps away, the sunsets, the open space, and what I’m guessing is a coastal wind (though it’s about 25 miles as the crow flies to the coast) which came every evening and cooled the trailer down in a huff with the freshest air imaginable. Joel, the host, was very helpful and kind… and friendly! We enjoyed chatting with him and loved his sense of humor. I would recommend this spot to anyone with a travel trailer and wanting W/E site. We peeked at the other site and it was lovely… near a sweet little pond. The little town of Sheridan had friendly folk, and the Riverside Cafe, as recommended by Joel, had a wonderful breakfast… and Figaro’s had a calzone so packed full of meat and cheese that it was a meal for two.. with leftovers!

We enjoyed the quiet and solitude during our 2-night visit to Rock Crick Acres.
Scott could not have been more helpful and kind.
The dogs on the property to the East barked often, but they usually stopped after a few minutes, and Scott did mention this beforehand.
The crick was not accessible to my elderly relative, but Scott did explain before I booked it that it may be difficult for someone with mobility issues to navigate the paths to the crick.
I only note it here so future campers are aware.
My dog enjoyed all the open space and all the different areas to explore. She had so much fun that she did not want to leave.
I did not want to leave either. What a beautiful place. Thanks for a great visit!

This place is awesome. Joel is a great host and makes sure you have everything you need upon arrival. I had a nice concrete pad that was super easy to park on. You are directly next to a cemetery, which did not bother us at all.
It’s a perfect place if you have dogs. I have two ridiculously large, good boys and they had a blast. They had plenty of space to run around and also got to go swimming in the pond.
Joel also had two kayaks there that we took out. That was my first time on and I loved it. Now my husband is shaking his head, knowing that two kayaks will eventually appear in the garage.

This is such an inviting camp with lots of little details to discover while you roam around. Having access to a porta potty is really nice and getting my camper van flat was a breeze with the land being very well kept and mostly flat all around. The dedicated fire pit was perfect for roasting hot dogs for dinner, and the sound of the creek nearby put us all to sleep. I would absolutely recommend camping here if you're looking for a cozy, family friendly spot.

This is a pretty cool stay!
I liked the view, the chickens and even the rooster!
During my stay the wind was a welcomed plus - kept any pesky flying bugs away!
Enjoyed the sunset and during my stay some cool Mexican music was happening from a neighbor - hey, I poured a glass of wine and took advantage of the free concert.
It was easy to find with the directions - long gravel road up to the camp, so your vehicle/trailer gets a bit dusty but nothing that a little soap and water can't take care of.
Close enuff to Beaverton and Portland for a drive in on a 2 day stay.
Be sure to bring a camp rug or 2 to lay over the weeds and grass, especially tenters.
No neighbors and you can feel secure leaving behind your gear for a day trip to Henry Hagg Lake (25min drive)

Absolutely beautiful and all to yourself. We brought out two daughters (7 and 11 months) and had so much fun. The host is very friendly and super knowledgeable about all the great local places to check out. We would love to go back.

19 ft campervan
A very beautiful, quiet, and simple spot. Need to be self-contained. We had a neighbor’s dog visit around 2am to bark his disapproval about our presence, but otherwise it was a lovely location. Very close to Wapato NWR, which was a fun added bonus.
