There have been cougar, bear, and elk sightings, so please don’t leave food out and be careful!
Although Short Sands Beach / Oswald State Park is close, it’s not really walkable. However, it is only two miles South on Hwy 101 to the parking lots from our gate. Most of the campsites are about a mile up the hill from our main entrance. So a total of about 3 miles to Shorty’s.
Fair warning: All of these sites are great for car camping and not great for tent camping. There is lots of rocks and not a lot of grass padding.
Lastly; there are no bathrooms! Please make sure you bring your own bathroom!
If we find any messes left we do charge a $250 fine. Thank you for for helping us keep our sites beautiful and safe for all!

Visit the only working covered bridge in Washington State. Bring a kayak or floaties. Ride your bike on a beautiful country road. The water is very amazing and surrounded by woods. There are 2 sites directly on the river and 2 about 50' from the river with a river view. A few miles away is a little restaurant called Duffy's. Open only Thu - Sunday. It is 12 miles to nearest town in both directions for a store and gas. There is a Porta potty and picnic tables. No potable water yet so please bring your own. A contained fire allowed. Wood is available to buy. Most phones get service. No electric at this time. Pet friendly. Pets must be on a leash for their safety. ( You should be able to let you dogs run free down at the end of the beach) Life jackets are highly recommended for people who can't swim. Two sites have a little country rd that is between you and the riverfront that hardly gets used. The river is a stone throw away. Only 26 miles to Astoria Oregon and 34 miles to Long Beach Washington. There is a old farmhouse on the top of the hill that is not lived in. I store my tools in there that I use. All sites are huge. Twisted Tree Camp s a 13 acre property about 5 miles north of Long Beach, Washington. The property is long and skinny, we have built road that accesses the back of the property. The campsite is in the middle of the woods, you can wake up to many birds singing and no neighbors in sight. In the evening you can listen to the frogs singing while you stare at th campfire.
The road winds thru the trees and this is not suitable for vehicles longer than 23 feet or wider than 8 feet.
There are multiple twisted trees along the road as you drive in to the campsite. We have recently built the road to the campsite at the back of the land so there is still evidence of recent construction along the road.
There are two cameras on site - one at the entrance along Pacific Way and one by the campsite at the end of the road. Cameras are there to monitor the site after hipcampers have left and will not be on while campers have rented the space.
Nearby there is SnowPeak Campfield that has a sauna and hot tub. There are many restaurants and public beaches to experience. During the summer there are numerous events like the kite festival, sandcastle festival, Rod Run and others.

New update , I don't currently have enough firewood to accommodate everybody . I'm working on it and hopefully we'll provide that service in the near future but in the meantime I have an address of a friend that sells firewood bundles for $5 each very close by . This is their address . 3904 Tillamook River Road. Please be careful when using Google maps, for whatever reason it has taken several people to other places other than mine. I posted a picture of the entrance of my property, hopefully this will help. Hurlys Hideaway is a very nice location located approximately 2 miles from the town of Tillamook. Very close to the beach Sand Lake various Rivers for fishing kayaking swimming Etc. Approximately 4 MI from Netarts Oceanside area, Netarts Bay, Cape Mears. A very nice location to be able to access all of these activities in Tillamook County. My land is Timber, some clearings, we'll see how this goes I'm just getting started. Also, I just learned that the transient tax for Tillamook Oregon is an additional 10% and I hate to do this but I'm going to have to raise my prices $5. If you are coming from Town, I'm 2 mi. from the hospital west on hwy. 131. Look for the purple Minnesota Vikings bus shack. I also put up a hipcamp sign just up my driveway a bit. If you are coming from the south on Fraiser road, turn right when you come to hwy. 131. I'm less than a quarter mile on your left. Also a heads up lately I've had a few people that are having a hard time booking and I learned from another camper if you're staying one night you actually have to select two days it includes the day you check out I just experienced that with another camper so just a bit information I don't know if hip camp changed something or what, but if you're staying one night select two days and it'll work.

We really enjoyed camping here. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, and we appreciate that a lot. The restrooms and showers were clean and well kept. My wife even mentioned how great the water pressure in the shower was.
The area was very quiet, and close to everything we needed. We would definitely stay again!

What a pleasure to find such a perfect place to glamp. Marlisa is a dream come true. For all she has to do she makes every guest feel like they are #1. I will be back for years to come. I stayed a week prior on my journey up the north coast and had to stay one more time on the way back home because I kinda missed the place. Has everything you need to feel comfortable. I've stayed at over 20 Hipcamp locations and Marlisa's camp ranks in the top 2. Paul

My family and I stayed for two nights and absolutely loved Marlisa’s property. It was surprisingly quiet and peaceful even though there were plenty of people there for the good fishing spots. We stayed in spot #19 with full hook ups which was really nice to have. We will definitely be back to camp here the next time we’re in the area.

Being right on the Columbia River was wonderful!!!! It is right next to the highway, but the big fence provides privacy and I found I was tuning the traffic noise out. The empty RV mentioned in other reviews is gone. It was so great having the place to myself. I would stay there again!

We had such a lovely stay at Williams Park! The host was incredibly welcoming, the campground was peaceful and well cared for, and the bathrooms were absolutely immaculate. We really enjoyed our time here and would happily stay again!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The host was amazing—so friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The property itself is beautiful, with plenty of walking trails to explore and incredible access to the river.
The amenities were an added bonus, especially having a kitchen and ice machine available for guests to use. Everything was thoughtfully provided and made our stay even more enjoyable.
We absolutely loved our time here and will definitely be coming back! Highly recommend this Hipcamp!

We loved the level sites and full hook ups! There was a free laundry! Our host was friendly and accommodating! Our dog didn’t want to leave. She was allowed off leash with 40 acres for walking and a river for swimming.

We stayed here for several days as a family of 5 with kids 8 and under. It was such a great experience and I would definitely recommend staying here!
Many reviews that I saw mentioned that the campsites were super small which gave me pause before booking. I’m so glad we booked anyways because the campsite sizes were great! We have stayed at many other campsites that are much smaller and more difficult to park in, including places like Thousand Trails and KOA.
A couple things to note, there’s one washer and two dryers. We need occasionally had to wait for laundry but never for long. The laundry is coin operated only, so bring quarters. But great washer and dryer set up and only $3.50 total to wash and dry.
The showers were great but only one shower in each of the 2 bathrooms. So again, sometimes we had to wait for the shower. But never long!
None of these things would deter me from staying again.
My kids enjoyed the open areas of grass to play, the cornhole and rec room. Plus the access to the beach from the campsite.
Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Our stay at the Fisherman's Cove was good. Having the electric hookup was helpful for our PHEV and kept our fridge charged. The ground was leveled, the site was clean and quiet at night, nice laundry and a shower, and very close to the sights we came to see. Matt, the customer rep, was friendly and helpful.

The spots were close together, but the raised area above the water where the tables and firepits are gave each space extra room, and great views of the water. The hosts were very nice and stopped by multiple times during our 4 days there to make sure that everything was good and to see if there was anything we needed.

Location was great. I don’t think I’d stay here again because we like to be outside and the spaces were just too close- we couldn’t extend our awning half way. I loved that they had a little off leash dog area, quiet part of town and very quiet campground. Owner was GREAT! If you’re staying to go site seeing and spend your time in your trailer (or if you have a very small trailer, ours is only 20 ft)- it’s perfect!

The RV park was quiet, clean, and the hosts were very nice. Ron waited up for us as we were a little past their 7pm cutoff. He found a better site for us that was quiet and away from the street.

It turned out to be one of best vacations we've had. Everything was ready to go when we arrived. The best part was the location being just a short walk from the beach. I'd highly recommend it for anyone with a RV less than 45 ft.

Greeted when we arrived. Very clean and well stocked restrooms. Sites had water, electric, picnic table, and the memorable orange slugs! Walking distance to town. We found the marine/wharf/water side surroundings a novel change from our usual campgrounds. Would have stayed longer to explore Ilwaco if our schedule had allowed.
