We are excited to announce our partnership with Grandma Betty’s at Loon Lake, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, to host specialized programs for local school districts and families with children who have disabilities.
Located on the south shore of Loon Lake in Douglas County, Oregon, our private park offers camping and a scenic venue for weddings and events. Visitors can enjoy swimming, fishing, a sandbar, miles of groomed walking trails, and kayak or paddleboard rentals for $20 per day. We also offer unique experiences such as hayrides, horse grooming, and goat walking.
Following our 2023 approval as a private day-use park, we are proud to share that we have been officially approved as a campground now in 2026. Every visit to our family- and pet-friendly park directly funds the development and programming for Grandma Betty’s.
Park Guidelines & Information:
- Registration: All guests and vehicles must register prior or upon arrival and sign a release waiver.
- Safety: Please keep the front gate closed for privacy. Due to our wetland environment, stay on groomed trails and exercise caution near the water.
- Lakefront Access: Vehicles are not permitted on the lakefront peninsula; please use the designated loading zone next to Lake Creek dock #1.
- Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
- Fire Safety: Fire restrictions are evaluated daily. Please contact us for current protocols.
- Pets: Leashed, well-behaved pets are welcome but must not be left unattended.

This is their address . 3904 Tillamook River Road. Please be careful when using Google maps, for whatever reason it has taken several people to other places other than mine. I posted a picture of the entrance of my property, hopefully this will help. Hurlys Hideaway is a very nice location located approximately 2 miles from the town of Tillamook. Very close to the beach Sand Lake various Rivers for fishing kayaking swimming Etc. Approximately 4 MI from Netarts Oceanside area, Netarts Bay, Cape Mears. A very nice location to be able to access all of these activities in Tillamook County. My land is Timber, some clearings, we'll see how this goes I'm just getting started. Also, I just learned that the transient tax for Tillamook Oregon is an additional 10% and I hate to do this but I'm going to have to raise my prices $5. If you are coming from Town, I'm 2 mi. from the hospital west on hwy. 131. Look for the purple Minnesota Vikings bus shack. I also put up a hipcamp sign just up my driveway a bit. If you are coming from the south on Fraiser road, turn right when you come to hwy. 131. I'm less than a quarter mile on your left. Also a heads up lately I've had a few people that are having a hard time booking and I learned from another camper if you're staying one night you actually have to select two days it includes the day you check out I just experienced that with another camper so just a bit information I don't know if hip camp changed something or what, but if you're staying one night select two days and it'll work.

The ranch offers 7 different campsites and a Cabin. Campfires are allowed (outside of burn bans), and there is a flush toilet in off season and additional Port-A-Potties during the summer on site as well.

When we woke up we got to visit with the horses, use the really clean port-potty, and chat with Bonnie and Chris the Hosts. They have tons of recommendations, but our favorite was the Indian creek cafe across the river. The areas so great and clean and the host cares about their guests! Would recommend!"

Grassy mowed area along the Sixes River on our cattle ranch and cranberry farm. We provide an outdoor shower and composting toilet shared by the 5 camp sites. The shower water is filtered water from a shallow well, but bring water to drink. This campsite lies about 1 mile from the pacific ocean at about 15 feet elevation so it will be cooler than inland camp sites.
I believe we are the closest camping to the south side of the Blacklock Hiking Trails. Also next to the Cape Blanco State Airport. (call if you want to fly in and get transport to and from the campsite).
Access Road is a single lane in and out (gravel, dirt, and grass). Any towed trailers need to be pulled by a 4-wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicle to climb back out (in and out procedures for trailers will be provided)
Bring a fishing pole or a kayak. Sea-run trout are in the river during the summer (no motorized vehicles allowed in the Sixes River by law. No motorized vehicles in campsite besides automobiles by rule.)
- Please be accurate with the number of guests in your party.
Please note about lack of signage: The "walters landing" and "92220" on airport road are the only markings to indicate our entrance. We don't want to put any "campground" signs to avoid curious trespassers into the property (we only want invited guests).

Come and stay at my licensed Hemp farm! Since 2015 I have been regenerating the soil and improving this once barren property. I plant a large portion of the property in Hemp plants. There is now abundant plant life on-site which attracts diverse wildlife including insects, birds and reptiles. Your stay here helps us to pay the bills to keep making this small patch of earth better.
The property is on a sunny bench not far from the ocean and usually above the fog line. Our location gets ample sunshine most days and is surrounded on 3 sides by a small forest. The property is fenced and access is by gate. I offer multiple sites for camping and glamping.
All sites can use the portable toilet, shower and sink. We keep them clean, odor free and sanitized.
Bring your outdoor gear! Adventures aplenty here on the central coast. Your hosts are avid surfers, cyclists, hikers and can help direct you to the best spots to match your skill level. The property is close to town as well as bike loops, gravel roads and trails. We're also close to the beach. Within a short drive surfers of all levels can find something fun to ride nearly everyday. The 18 hole golf course is just down the street and the town of Waldport is 2 miles away. Yachats is a short 12 min drive to the south where you can find amazing restaurants like The Green Salmon Cafe where they serve fresh roasted coffee along with a large menu of drinks and treats.
White sand beaches are located just down the hill from us where you can walk all the way from the mouth of the Alsea river to the mouth of the Yachats river. Forested and easily accessible walking trails are also nearby. South of the property is Cape Perpetua - a natural wonderland with whales, tide pools, blowholes and a 26 mile trail system. Enjoy the scenic 15 mile drive from the farm to get there.

We’re just short of a mile from Sunset Bay, where you will find kayaking, fishing and a great spot for kids.
The Whiskey Run mountain bike trails are a short drive away and are truly world-class trails. The Sunset Bay State Park has a huge trail network that spans the cliff line all the way from Sunset Bay to Cape Arago.
Chuck’s Seafood in Charleston is a great spot to pick up local seafood.
BBQ some oysters on the grill or pick up some fresh fish and enjoy the bounty of the coast.

Watch spectacular sunrises and sunsets from your private bluff camp. *This site is not good for tents as the wind can be very strong and there are no trees on the bluff.
Our two Lost Valley Van Camp sites can each accommodate one self-contained campervan or truck camper and offer a quiet place to pull up amongst the trees on the outskirts of the field. Each site comes with a convertible bench/table for two and a flat grassy area to camp with plenty of room to turn your vehicle around. The two sites are separated by dense trees to ensure privacy from neighboring campers. While these sites don't come with the epic view or river access of our bluff site, they are peaceful and conveniently located.

Although Short Sands Beach / Oswald State Park is close, it’s not really walkable. However, it is only two miles South on Hwy 101 to the parking lots from our gate. Most of the campsites are about a mile up the hill from our main entrance. So a total of about 3 miles to the beach.
Each of our campsites are very rugged: not super flat and have jagged rock.
The roads getting to each campsite are STEEP, NARROW, and have very FEW TURNAROUND OPTIONS. We recommend ONLY EXPERT drivers with 4x4 rigs.
Lastly; there are no bathrooms! Please make sure you bring your own bathroom!

Private 50 acres on the river and you can fish or swim along our .7 miles of riverfront on the Umpqua River. Multiple fishing access, drift boat ramp, canoe launch and fishing heaven with salmon, sturgeon, striped bass, steelhead, shad, and smallmouth bass.
Bring you dogs, kayaks, or drift boat. Pontoon floats available for rent. 2 acres are mowed for camper enjoyment. There is a 30 Amp RV hookup, 2 110v outlets, and water at two sites in the area!

Happy to find availability on 4th of July weekend for the night. Pretty flat ground and easy access. Small location but had 30amp power and water which fit perfect our needs. Beautiful river access and fishing. Quiet little town and nice full timers that live on-site. Felt very safe and enjoyed all the birds chirping away. Camp Host “Hong” had excellent communication and very welcoming.

What an absolutely beautiful place. So peaceful and so relaxing. The drive-in was perfect. The directions provided very easy to follow. Parking on site #1, looking out over the river was easy and leveling out was not a problem. We had the river to one side and open field to the other side. Quiet and peaceful but the mosquitoes were enjoying it as much as we were. (They were pretty intense at times.) It was a great place to have our dog and we appreciated everything about the site. Very easy to get into town and do anything else that you want to do. We never saw Nicole & Brian, not even sure if they were there. We were told to call if we had any questions and we didn’t. When in the area again, we would be honored to stay again.

Really well kept up/clean. Excellent wifi!!
Even when it was fairly full, it was very quiet/peaceful.
Bathrooms/showers were clean with continuous hot water.
Things I would update:
Offer garbage bins along with all the dog waste bag sites. Especially in the designated dog park. (There is one area with dumpsters that you have to walk to.)
Get some new street signage as the current ones are all sun bleached and not readable.

This campsite is truly a hidden gem. The views of the river from the site are breathtaking, and the dock offers a peaceful, stunning backdrop. Our host was exceptionally accommodating, going out of their way to make our stay memorable despite our last-minute booking. Normally we try to disperse camp, but this visit to the area, we needed to ensure we had a camping spot for a couple of nights in a row while attending an event and visiting family during the day. After having a couple of bad experiences at state campgrounds (loud neighbors partying into the early morning, and no one around to enforce the rules) we were looking for a quiet location to ensure a good night’s rest. I found Nicole and Brian’s Hipcamp, booked it, and we had an outstanding experience. This is a beautiful piece of property that is very quiet and peaceful. There are only 3 sites, which helps to ensure a relaxing and peaceful camping experience. Sites 1 & 2 are very nice with the Prosper Bluff site being a standout with its amazing views overlooking the river. There was plenty of space for our dog to get her zoomies out as well. It can get breezy, and there are mosquitoes, but if you’re properly prepared, you’ll have a great experience here. We look forward to staying here again during our next trip to the area.

I loved staying at Brian and Nicole’s Prosper Bluff site. It was an absolutely beautiful view. The property was a perfect location to use as a base camp to explore the area. Brian was a pleasure to talk with and gave some great suggestions of places to go and thanks to see. I highly recommend this location and if ever I’m on a road trip again through the Oregon coast I will use this as a base camp again. Thank you, Brian and Nicole for making your property available for other others to enjoy.

The location in Bandon was close to incredible beaches but very private. Views from the top of the bluff were expansive. We loved the “throne” made out of driftwood to sit on. Great HipCamp.

It’s a beautiful place perched above the Coquille River, and it’s very close to Bandon. We met Brian, he was very engaging. He told us about all the nearby places worthy of visiting including restaurants. We had a better experience there because of our conversation with him. Finding their place was very easy, they gave precise directions to it.

Nicole and Brian were EXCELLENT hosts and their property was beyond our expectations. It was gorgeous with a beautiful view- so peaceful! We sat outside and enjoyed everything the property had to offer. The skies were clear so at night we were able to do lots of star gazing- love that. We will definitely be back!

The most amazing view to wake up to! Our 1 year old son had a blast roaming around the site and watching fishing boats on the river. Nicole and Brian were so welcoming and helpful! 10/10 recommend to anyone passing through the area!
