RV camping is one of the best ways to enjoy Yosemite National Park. The valley floor’s three primary campgrounds—North Pines, Upper Pines, and Lower Pines—all have pet-friendly RV sites with picnic tables, fire rings, bear storage lockers, restrooms, and dump station access. (Upper Pines has a year-round dump station, while Wawona and Tuolumne Meadows campgrounds have seasonal dump stations in summer.) From there, you can leave your rig parked and use the free Yosemite Valley Shuttle System to explore the valley. No Yosemite campgrounds have electric hookups, however—if you need amenities like full hookups or wifi, you’ll want to stay outside the park at an RV park or private site near towns like El Portal and Groveland (outside the western entrance) or Lee Vining (outside the eastern entrance).

It’s important to us that our guests don’t feel they are renting a tent/RV site or a camper as much as they’re immersing themselves into the outdoor experience. You may just want to sit outside and read for days, enjoy campfires and eat s'mores. For more adventurous, there's a full slate of self-guided recreational activities, such as hiking, kayaking, fishing, ATVing, rock climbing, biking, natural water slides, stand up paddle boards, bird watching, available in the area. We do have modern conveniences such as wifi internet; however, we encourage our guests to “unplug” and immerse in the slow paced life instead. At Paradise Shores, we believe in protecting people, animals and the planet. We make sure that the majority of products we use at our camp is recycled, composted, or re-used. We prefer to use products that are produced in a sustainable way and avoid those that aren't. We are continuously reducing the amount of waste we generate and actively promote recycling of aluminum, plastic, glass, and cardboard. We pack our own recycling and haul it to the nearest recycling facility which is an hour away. We co-opt the drive with other activities to reduce waste. We don’t use individually packaged toiletries or one-use products. We use plant and planet friendly detergent. We're based in a desert. We share our precious water with the entire planet. With only 326 million cubic miles of water on the earth, the decreasing amounts of access to quality fresh water is alarming to us. We monitor how we use water in our day-to-day activities and are constantly working on ways to reduce our consumption of fresh-water resources. We hope you can help us maintain this greener camping! We hope Paradise Shores Camp becomes your home as it is ours. It’s located in one of the most spectacular areas in the world. We’re surrounded on three sides by the high Sierra Nevada Mountains. Yosemite National Park, Tuolumne Meadows, Mono Lake, June Lake, Virginia Lakes, and Twin Lakes, as well as the historic gold-mining town of Bodie, CA are all within a short drive from our place. We're proud to know this area intimately and are excited to share the secret spots with you. The excellent hiking/running trails including the Pacific Crest Trail, thousands of miles of ATV, dirt bike and mountain bike trails are accessible right from our camp or within a short drive from here. The surrounding terrain offers endless activities and unbelievable scenery in remote wilderness settings. Pet Policy All our RV & Tent sites are pet friendly and we allow up to two dogs per reservation for a small fee. We can also accommodate up to two four-legged campers in our pet-friendly Baja or Tatra trailers for a small fee, we ask that they stay off the furniture (beds, sofas etc.) and are not left in the rental unattended. We love dogs, but sadly won’t be able to accommodate heavily shedding pets that aren’t house trained. Additionally, our insurance will not allow "aggressive breeds" that include any mix of: Pit Bull, Rottweiler, Doberman, German Sheppard. The Lost Dutchman Italian Bar Camp is a 160 acres of Priviately Owned Patented Mining land and our priviate campground located in the Stanislaus National Forest and on the South Fork of the Stanislaus River, which runs through the camp. Camping is available on both side of the river making the Italian Bar camp a destination for campers since we rebuilt the camp from the ground up in the late 1970’s. Whether you want to relax in your campsite listening to the river, dip your toes in the cool waters or try your hand at panning for gold, I-Bar offers all of this and more. There are miles of hiking opportunities around the camp as well, from short river hikes to Trailblazing like the Miners of old. Little History: The property was discovered and first settled around 1849 as a gold rush mining camp. At one time over 3,000 people lived here and mined for gold. Explore the mines and hang out on our Groveland, California ranch! We have 824 acres on a beautiful cattle ranch with two small ponds. On our property, you'll find frogs, turtles, oak trees, pine trees and stunning views of Yosemite. We have several campsites to choose from including RV camping, tent camping, and a glamping tent. Pets are welcome. Campfires are permitted as long as there is no fire ban. Potable water and toilet are available onsite. There's a golf course less than a mile away. We are also very close to town. In just a few minutes, you can drive to our local grocery store and pizza parlour. We are a 10-minute drive to Pine Mountain Lake. Beautiful Pine Mountain Lake offers golfing, dining, horseback riding, water sports and an airport. When you come to the ranch it feels like you are hundreds of miles away from civilization, but still close to everything you need. It is incredibly peaceful! This is a great place for someone who wants to escape city life and enjoy the tranquillity of nature. Activities in the campground include horseshoes, sand volleyball, sandbox for the kiddos and frisbee golf for all. There is no electricity in the campground with exception of a small solar powered system to operate our entry gate, guest Wi-Fi and intercom. Outlets are not available for guest use. Our campground is home to wildlife. You can minimize unwanted encounters by properly storing food and garbage. We have one central bathhouse with 3 flushing toilets. Sites vary in distance from a short walk to a short drive. The bathhouse has 4 shower stalls in the rear of the building. The bathhouse is closed from 10pm to 8am. The bathhouse does not have electricity or interior lighting. Our Hacienda section ("H" Sites) has vault toilets. Portables are located throughout the campground for your convenience. There is minimal privacy from other campers due to the placement of the sites and the way our trees and vegetation is trimmed for fire resistance. We have two livestock guardian dogs that free roam the property and they are not friendly with other animals. IMPORTANT!!! Update may 7 2026: after the last major storm, a large amount of red sand washed into the pond area, making the water currently much shallower than usual. The area can still be enjoyed, especially by small children, but swimming conditions are limited compared to before.

Sharing my life and property with rescued animals has become a full time job full of joy and lessons learned. What great teachers they are. I began to share the experiences with my animals by offering a unique farm tour called coffee with Critters and I find that I really enjoy sharing this lifestyle with like minded folk. If you love animals and want to camp near them please join me. Learn more about this land: Your campsite will be nestled among animal enclosures, listen to the munching of hay or the snorting of the horse. Your stay will include a modified animal tour and you can engage with horse, goats, rabbits, chickens, ducks and more... dogs and cats of course ;). I have a couple of spots but I would be flexible regarding campsite. My toilet is a compost toilet.  The outside shower has been upgraded with privacy curtains etc following suggetions from previous campers ;) I have a million $$ view and a modest house. My house is about 45 minutes from the Yosemite park entrance and it's an easy commute back/forth. Flowering vines cover my outdoor porches where we have big dinners when Wwoofers or Couchsurfers are in residence. The property is home to many animals, horse, goats, pigs, chickens, peacocks, rabbits, guinea pigs - dogs & cats - of course! :-) . The roosters wake us up pretty early so fair warning about that - but I love living with them and it makes the property so much more friendly with all the critters. My house is pet friendly and yours are welcome if they are 1. Fixed, 2. Are social and friendly with my pets, 3. Will not chase the cats and chickens. I can babysit your pups if you go to the park - provided they are compliant with rules above. I work from home. There are loads of trails nearby and 2 pretty ponds and plenty of wildlife, deer, turkeys and more. The property is rolling hills however there are plenty of flat areas for tents. NO FIRES PERMITTED ANYWHERE ON MY PROPERTY APRIL-OCTOBER - non negotiable.

Great little spot. What was special about this place were the people, very welcoming and friendly. They have a community fire every night. There is a nice little restaurant right across the road and it’s close to Yosemite’s Tioga entrance. The RV sites are a bit small but after some wiggling, I got my 30’ rig in ok. I would stay here again.

Kiya was very responsive in approving the booking and answering texts. She made sure I had the right instructions to get there and hook things up to my Camper trailer. Left us some adapters just in case. The property is nice and quiet, with big trees on a small hill. Free WiFi was provided and There is a gas station close by so within the reach of civilization. Just an hour of scenic drive from either entrances of Yosemite. It was a smooth experience.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We absolutely loved our stay here! ❤️ This was our first time car camping in our Tesla, and we honestly couldn’t have picked a better campsite for the experience. The property was beautiful, peaceful, and had everything we could have hoped for. We loved the privacy, beautiful views, fire pit, bathroom/shower amenities, and being surrounded by nature. It was the perfect balance of feeling like we were getting away and still having the comforts that made our stay relaxing and enjoyable. One of our favorite parts was simply being able to settle into our Tesla, enjoy the scenery, watch the sunset, have a fire, and wake up to such a peaceful setting. 🌅🔥 There was something really special about being able to slow down and enjoy quality time together without all the distractions of everyday life. The host was also wonderful and clearly puts a lot of thought and care into creating a welcoming experience for guests. You can tell that this campsite has so much potential, and we really hope more people discover it! Since we noticed there aren’t many reviews yet, we wanted to make sure we took the time to share our experience. If you’re thinking about booking this campsite, do it! We had such a great time, felt comfortable and welcomed, and would absolutely come back again. 🏕️❤️ Thank you for having us! Our first Tesla camping adventure was one we’ll definitely remember. 🚗✨

We really enjoyed our time at this campground. It was very clean and quiet and a great place to unplug and relax. Very easy to get to. There’s ATVs to rent however we didn’t indulge on this trip. Our main reason for this location was to be close to Yosemite National Park. The distance to get there was only 30 minutes from the campsite. I want to thank Liza and Tom for an amazing location and experience

If RV’ing is your style of camping, there are three things that are almost always guaranteed to be by or within earshot of your site: Trains, Planes, or Automobiles. Red Tail Ranch has none of those! Peace and quiet was on tap during our entire 4 night stay. Wish we could’ve stayed longer. Thank you Robb for hosting such a great place!

Julie has made the most of the natural environment there on the property. There is an area that is shaded amongst the beautiful rock area where they have provided a table, chairs, fire, pit, and a storage case full of games. Nearby is a beautiful barbecue. The area is covered with gravel, so there is no dust or dirt. Besides all this, the hosts are very friendly and helpful!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay here at squirrel rock. It was a smaller are where the trailer spots are at, but we enjoyed the setup very much! The hangout are was nice and clean, there is a horseshoe area (we didnt use), theres also a small walking trail that was nice to explore. It was super hot when we went so couldn't really enjoy outdoor activities too much, but would definitely return when the weather is nice
