A good spot to stay to be able to explore several areas. We enjoyed Bass Lake and Yosemite during our stay.
Not inside a traditional campground. Just a solo site. Quiet except for the pleasant sounds of the turkeys and roosters.

We had a great experience at Yosemite Foothills Camp. Adam, our host, provided excellent directions and responded to inquiries quickly. The site offered seclusion, was clean and level. As an added bonus, we were intertained by a flock of turkeys that would show up several times a day. We would stay there again.

Perfect for what we needed! Having full hookups was great. Nice even site in a beautiful secluded location. Easy access to Yosemite as well! We also made a trip to the nearby Seirra Cider which I'd recommend!

First, we wanted to say Thank You to Adam. This was our first time staying here and we enjoyed it. We had questions and requests prior to arriving and he responded very promptly, accommodating our needs. The location is a little up the road but it’s worth it. It’s very quiet and spacious. Adam reminded us about the 50amp only, so we could come prepared. We could definitely stay here again.

You need a campervan for this campsite, because their is no restroom, no shower, but a fresh water tap and a dump. the electricity needs a special adapter, which is not often used on campsites. it is easy to find a place of even level and then every thing is fine. You are the only camper on the side, noone disturbs with noise. As there are not many campsites near yosemite, and as they are completly full at the minute you can make a reservation, this campsite helps to reach yosemite in one hour.

Adam’s property was a mile down a quiet side road about 12 minutes from downtown Mariposa. We appreciated the full hook ups, the privacy, and close proximity to Yosemite (under an hour away). Although we never met him, Adam was super responsive, kind, and accommodating. We had a blast exploring Yosemite and Mariposa and highly recommend Adam’s Hipcamp!

Super handy little spot with all the hook ups. Quiet and plenty of birds and wild life in the morning. Perfect location for a day trip into Yosemite National Park, with an easy drive that only takes an hour in the van

It's a bit of a drive after a long day at Yosemite, but if you're looking at this you don't have a reservation in the park anyway! You can take advantage of the full hookups and grocery and drug stores along the way, and it's a nice quiet spot.

The was a perfect site for what we needed! All the hookups you would need for an RV and a decent amount of land to do some activities on. It's a little uneven on one side, so depending on what you plan on doing that could make or break it for you.
We were going to Yosemite for a day and needed a last minute spot so this was perfect and the price was a very fair deal. Mind you, Yosemite is still about an hour drive so if you plan on going to Yosemite all day and don't mind an hour to and from, then this is a perfect little spot to get, especially short notice like us.
Lots of privacy as well which is nice. You don't have to worry too much about playing music too loud or even conversing too loud.
I did not interact with the host at all, but everything was well placed and kepted tidy and clean so there was really no contact needed. One thing to note is that while there is sewage access for RV, there is no dumpster for trash so keep that in mind for extended stays here.
I would recommend this for anyone who needs a spot in a pinch or people that want privacy and convenience without having to pay a large amount of money for it. I would also recommend this for a small caravan overland
group (2-3 rigs) that is traveling with an RV or RV trailer with hookups since it could accommodate of needed. Definitely enough space for rigs and a couple of tents.

This was the perfect site. Low key with everything you need, close to town and not too far from the park. Cell service isn’t great (AT&T) but otherwise the site had everything we needed for our trailer and trip to Yosemite.

This place is just what we were looking for to have an experience of camping with our RV in the place most peaceful possible. It’s a perfect place for those who are looking for camping with all hookups and have the exclusivity of being alone as doing boondock.
Adam is the best host ever, very responsive and always ready to meet your needs.

Power, water, sewer, peace & quiet

We had power, water, dump station and solitude. We weren’t looking for a social gathering, we were looking for a safe, level place with at least 30 amp power where we could park our RV for a few nights near Yosemite and that is exactly what we found.
We didn’t see a soul while we were here for a few nights except for the occasional car that would drive by on the quiet, isolated road nearby. Peace and quiet AND power, water, and a dump station all to ourselves for a great price. What more could we ask for?

This is a simple site that has what you need for an RV. It was a little hard to find - the GPS took us past the site and down a different road - but if you just look for the “house” number once you get on the road you’ll be fine.

This site is quiet and the natural grass is well groomed. Lots of wild turkeys are fun to watch. The 50 amp power is great. Smelled like well water. Just bring bottled water to drink and dish. Otherwise, this site is great for a Yosemite trip and grab some breakfast at Steve's Sportsman's Cafe.
