Outdoorsy Yosemite Campground

The resort was nothing like the pictures. It was cramped! I was in a camper van and the spot was on a hill with very little space on either side. The hookup was on a slope abs difficult to access. The bathrooms and showers were clean though and the after hours check in was easy.

Great stay! It exceeded our expectations and was just a quite 25 min drive to the Yosemite south entrance. We checked in after the office closed and everything was clearly outlined what to do and where to go, making it very easy. WiFi works all over the camp, kitchen clean, and all bathroom/showers clean.

Quiet, Scenic, and Full of Wild

We stayed at Campsite 117 and absolutely loved it. It’s tucked away in a quiet back area, making it feel peaceful and private. It’s also conveniently close to the path leading down to the water, which made it easy to enjoy the scenery. During our stay, we were lucky enough to see some wildlife—a small bear running behind the fence and even a fox, which made the experience even more memorable. The campground host was friendly and welcoming, and the amenities exceeded our expectations. Overall, Campsite 117 was the perfect combination of tranquility, nature, and convenience. We would definitely stay here again!

We were tent camping around lots of RV’s. Campground was very busy, had a dj for the pool on Saturday night. Not very private feeling cause our very narrow site was also used as a walking path to the bathroom.

We were looking for something close to Yosemite and family friendly during our down time and Outsoorsy Yosemite delivered. It’s walkable to the Marina at Bass lake, though not walkable to public beaches at the lake. There were daily activities for kids and adults, including Bingo and Karaoke, the restrooms and pool and clubhouses all very clean. A food truck on site and other little shops and restaurant and a market also within walking distance near the marina. If we come back this way I’m certain we would stay again.

Fun! Recommendable The campsite was clean and easily accessible to the bathroom, swimming pool, and other amenities. The campkeepers were friendly and maintained the site in good condition. The management was also very friendly. I simply didn’t like some other campers who were extremely rude, even though it was their fault. Our site was conveniently located near the exit area, which had only one entrance and one exit. As my husband was backing up his car, a rude and racist man attempted to move him out of the way. The man was going in the wrong direction, towards his campsite. My husband was upset because we had come to relax and have fun, but this rude man ruined his enjoyment. Overall, I would highly recommend Outdoorsy as one of the camping sites.

The people are nice, they don't clean the showers but once a week. They were helpful in aiding us back into a difficult spot, but lied to us when they said that they had nowhere else to place us. There were two better spots open the entire week. The spot needs work and the park table is on a step slope so we couldn’t level or rig or the park table. The spot was two small. We had an un leveled rv the entire week. We did see a bear and two cubs run through the camp that was fun. It’s pretty with the trees but they don’t have a mandatory quiet time so there is noise all night by the other guest.

Loved the area and campground! Felt a bit mislead on the beach access tho. No lake access at all from campground. We only had e-bikes. Also, we had to leave a day early and tried to get refunded but Hipcamp has no, or limited ways to do that… still waiting to hear from them. Outdoorsy cancelled it on their end….,

Check in was super easy! Loved having electric and water at the site. Amenities, Bathrooms and showers were very clean. Such an easy walk to the lake and stores, restaurants, bar 100% would come back!

We really enjoyed our stay at Outdoorsy Yosemite. Everyone there was welcoming and ready to help with whatever they could to make your stay better. The pool and the club house were very clean. Definitely a place to come back and to recommend.

Great Family Stay

This was our first time out in an RV with our kids and we had such a great time. I carefully chose Outdoorsy Yosemite for its location and amenities. It did not disappoint! We enjoyed the pool, the playground and the clean restrooms/showers. We got lunch at their cafe and came down for music and dancing. Check out was easy and Leslie was wonderful! We can’t wait for our next visit.

Overall, Outdoorsy has all the amenities listed , it was in a great location, in a common areas were kept very clean and well maintained. The specific tent spot I was given, 165, did not fulfill my “outdoor“ wishes. The space was UP a gravel (slick) driveway (making walks to the showers, restroom, pool, walkabouts cautious with footing), immediately next to a cabin/structure and an unsightly view of the maintenance yard and water tower. Not the ideal nature views I expected. I packed up early and only stayed 2 of 3 nights.

Camping site was fun and a great location. There was bears so (BEWARE). No bear lockers aswell for food. It did have WiFi and electricity at the tent sites. Showers and bathrooms were nice. Also Yosemite valley is about 1 hour in total from the site. Overall 8/10

The campsite was in a great location, far enough away from densely populated areas that it was very common peaceful, but not too remote. Grounds were clean and the amenities such as restrooms and laundry areas were very clean. Access to power and a water faucet on the campsite was a plus.

Outdoorsy Yosemite Campsite was easy to locate even at night. It was about an hour and a half away from Yosemite Valley so not too bad and the fact that it was so close to Bass Lake was great! So overall, the campsite was in a great location. Remote enough that it was peaceful but not isolated. Amenities we used which were bathrooms mainly were VERY well maintained and each lot had a faucet with water and an outlet as well as a bench. We noticed there was a laundromat, a park, a pool, and trash and recycle bins throughout the park. My only complaint was that it was all rock and that sucked for my back. We saw a mama bear and her cubs everyday and that was super cool.

Premium FHU Pull Thru

This was our first stay here and definitley won't be our last. Things we loved: plenty of space between RVs, neighbors were very respectful of the quiet hours, very close to the pines resort village and the lake (we rode our bikes), our toddler loved the playground, the pool area looked great, and there were some trails just a short walk away! In short, it was a perfect family-friendly camping retreat.
