Welcome to the 2026 Hipcamp Season. I am glad you found me. We are ready for fun season and can't wait to meet you! My camp is one of the most unique Hipcamp properties on the entire Oregon Coast. Come and stay at my licensed Hemp farm! Since 2015 I have been regenerating the soil and improving this once barren property. I plant a large portion of the property in Hemp plants. There is now abundant plant life on-site which attracts diverse wildlife including insects, birds and reptiles. Your stay here helps us to pay the bills to keep making this small patch of earth better. The property is on a sunny bench not far from the ocean and usually above the fog line. Our location gets ample sunshine most days and is surrounded on 3 sides by a small forest. The property is fenced and access is by gate. I offer multiple sites for camping and glamping. All sites can use the portable toilet, shower and sink. We keep them clean, odor free and sanitized. Bring your outdoor gear! Adventures aplenty here on the central coast. Your hosts are avid surfers, cyclists, hikers and can help direct you to the best spots to match your skill level. The property is close to town as well as bike loops, gravel roads and trails. We're also close to the beach. Within a short drive surfers of all levels can find something fun to ride nearly everyday. The 18 hole golf course is just down the street and the town of Waldport is 2 miles away. Yachats is a short 12 min drive to the south where you can find amazing restaurants like The Green Salmon Cafe where they serve fresh roasted coffee along with a large menu of drinks and treats. White sand beaches are located just down the hill from us where you can walk all the way from the mouth of the Alsea river to the mouth of the Yachats river. Forested and easily accessible walking trails are also nearby. South of the property is Cape Perpetua - a natural wonderland with whales, tide pools, blowholes and a 26 mile trail system. Enjoy the scenic 15 mile drive from the farm to get there. Shop our "Extras" and "Experiences" and please ask if any questions.

Site 2 aka Freedom Camp is dedicated to tent campers only. The site is located in a flat grassy space located near the NW corner of our farm. It is an approximately 20 x 20 site that backs up to a row of trees and blackberry bushes (usually ripe berries from mid August - October). You can, at times, hear the ocean from your tent. This site receives warming sunlight from just past day break 'til late in the afternoon. It faces our hemp field and has a nice vibe with the veggie garden nearby. The portable toilet is around the corner as well as recycling, compost and trash bins. Easy access to our outdoor shower - it's open air with no enclosure so bring a bathing suit to use while showering. Afternoons can be breezy and tents should be staked down. Please keep your pet on leash at all times while on our property. Great dog walking areas right outside our gate, in town and on the beaches nearby. Campers will park outside the fence and go through the single gate. *One additional vehicle is allowed to park in the reserved area outside fence as well. Cyclo-tourists (touring cyclists w/out vehicle) are our favorite! Contact host prior to booking to receive an additional 10% discount on your stay.

This campsite is reserved for hikers and cyclists only. It is located on a small patch of grass next to a hedge of bamboo plants. The porta potty and hot shower are located close by as well as a hose, We also have an indoor sink available for washing dishes. This is a simple site that offers both hikers and bikers an inexpensive and efficient place to rest for the night. Cyclists will be happy to know that their bikes will be safe inside of our fenced and gated yard. Owner Tobias is also an accomplished bike tourer and former bike shoppe owner as well as a veteran cyclotourist. Our town of has a great little community bike co-op that can often help with many needed repairs for bike tourers. *No vehicles are allowed at this site

Site 1 aka Bamboo Camp is sunny and south-facing with garden, mountain and forest views. You can hear the sound of the ocean from this site when the waves are big. It is situated in a small meadow that is 600+ sq ft. On the north and east sides it is surrounded by an ever growing collection of medicinal and biodynamic plants, colorful flowers and plentiful bamboo. Looking south you will see the hemp (cannabis) field and the vegetable garden is to the west. This spot is perfect for unloading your boards and/or bikes and getting situated for your next adventure(s). There is plenty of space at Bamboo Camp to spread out a bit. Bring some funky lights and positive vibes. Let's party. Carefully drive straight in or back your vehicle in through the gate being careful to avoid the fence and the water wellhead. Ask for assistance and if available we'll gladly get you in and set up. Put out your tent, pop up your camper or slide open your van door. Feel free to set up camp chairs, portable table, etc. The portable toilet is located nearby this site and solar and motion lights make it easy to see at night to walk around if needed. Potable water is also just feet away via a spigot/hose. Recycling, compost and trash bins are provided for guests. Sink w/ hot water for dishwashing is available. Just remember to always pick up after yourself and leave no trace. Easy access to our outdoor shower - it's open air with no enclosure so bring a bathing suit to use while showering. Afternoons can be breezy and tents should be staked down. Please keep your PET ON LEASH OR IN VEHICLE AT ALL TIMES while on our property. Great dog walking areas right outside our gate, in town and on the beaches.

The Plant Based Deluxe Glamp is a short-term rental intended for plant-based (vegan and vegetarian) lifestyles only - no exceptions thanks. *We do not allow meat to be cooked inside this property. As a matter of fact, meat has never been cooked here! Tobias, your host, has subscribed to a Whole Foods Plant Based lifestyle since 2012 and now wants to share this cruelty-free 600 sq ft accomodation with like-minded Hipcamper's. All the basics needed for an enjoyable and economical stay on the coast can be found here along with some peace and (usually) quiet and of course nothing but Positive Vibes! *This deluxe-glamping rental does not have an indoor toilet. Guests will use the porta-potty that is located just a few steps out the front door. But the place does have Non-toxic / Zero VOC Eco paint by Sherwin-Williams, bamboo flooring, a kitchen, off-street parking, indoor shower, close access to Yachats, Newport, Waldport and more! Take a walk in our pollinator garden and insect, bird, reptile sanctuary. Meet the other guests camping on-site. Take a nice stroll in any direction. Park next to the man gate (see photo) and let yourself in with key (key location will be emailed to you before arrival). 2 people max are allowed to stay here and no pets are allowed. - no exceptions. Indoor shower, bathroom sink. Stainless double kitchen sink, full sized fridge with freezer, cookware, utensils, dishes and glasses etc for two. Close to the beaches, town, parks and restaurants. Living house plants throughout the interior of apartment.

I really enjoyed staying here. Toby is very friendly and welcoming and gave me lots of good recommendations for hikes and things to do! My zone in the yard had plenty of space and felt private even though Toby was working in the garden during the day. I really appreciated the hot shower and the toilet. The only negative is that it is across the street from the animal shelter - the dogs bark all night. Make sure to bring your ear plugs. Regardless I would stay here again.

We had a perfect experience van camping at Tobias's place! The space felt safe and peaceful, and we were a short drive or walk to the beach. The outdoor shower was hot and lovely, porta potty was clean, and the hemp pre roll we added was great. Tobias was very kind and friendly. We will definitely be back next time we're in the area!

Can’t wait until there is a toilet and sliding doors…I’ll be back!. Dogs are noisy but can’t do anything about that/wear ear plugs. Loved the location. Tobias put flowers in a vase which was a nice touch and he was super communicative. So close to Cape perpetua!!!

This place was great! We last minute decided to spend the night in the area, and at almost midnight, he replied, greet us and was super kind. the area feels safe, private, and easily accessible. In top of that we woke up to BEAUTIFUL birds signing. we stayed in a tent. The bathroom was extremely clean and taken care of. I recommend! Specially if u can book the other places!

Tobias has set up a nice, spacious glamping spot. It was nice to have a Vitamix available. He's actively working to improve certain amenities like cookware and an in-unit toilet. For my visit, the portable toilet worked alright. I enjoyed learning more about the benefits of hemp and cannabis from our discussion.

Tobias is kind and the site is clean. I would come back on a holiday that is not fireworks heavy. I thought I was escaping the fireworks for my dog, but instead we heard fireworks July 3 & 4th from Waldport and Yachats. Tobias’ home is across from the county animal shelter. The dogs there were vocal during and after the fireworks too. I wish Tobias communicated all of this beforehand, but now I know better. Otherwise, it was a campsite that was clean, safe and driving distance from many places to wander to. I am grateful for Tobias sharing his land with us

I slept so sound both night’s here. It’s so quiet and peaceful. Tobias had great suggestions for my early morning tide pool exploration. After a day of tide pools, a couple amazing hikes, and enjoying educational activities in Waldport and Newport, I was happy to return and crash for the second night before returning home. A great weekend beach getaway. I would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed staying here! Even though we booked at the last minute, Tobias made sure everything was arranged smoothly. He was extremely friendly and communicative, checking our arrival time, confirming the location, and providing very clear instructions. The campsite is located in the backyard of the property, but it still offers plenty of space and a pleasant, comfortable environment. One thing that especially stood out was the restroom—it was by far the cleanest restroom we have ever seen at a campsite. It was exceptionally well maintained and made the stay even more comfortable. Tobias was also very kind, welcoming, and easy to talk to. We really enjoyed meeting him. Overall, this was a wonderful experience, and we would gladly recommend this campsite to others!

one tiny footnote: shower is not private, it’s beach surf style so bathing suit recommended. hot water! Great host, prime location nearby two towns: newport (big town) has Fred myers, excellent thai food, cheap gas. yachats (small town) is like carmel by the sea but oregon! green salmon coffee has fantastic chai, and the park is exquisite. amazing nature all around.

I loved camping on Tobias' land! It felt very private and had everything I needed - shower, toilet, running water, dog-friendly. It was less than a 10-minute drive to the beach, too. I'll definitely keep this spot in mind for future trips to the coast!
