This magical property is conveniently located 5 miles north of Florence and directly on Hwy 101, approximately 3/4 of a mile from the ocean. This is a large private site that is surrounded by old growth timber and teaming with flora and fauna. Campers are encouraged to explore, but be aware, this property is wild.. and encounters with wildlife are common. Beyond the adventuring that can be done on the property, Baker Beach state park is less than a half a mile away and there is a plethora of trails, parks, and lakes within 10 miles. We do have full time neighbors just to the North, so we ask that you be respectful and cautious with regard to dogs/noise. Hwy 101 can be very dangerous for unsuspecting pets. There are several roadside campfire stations(directly across 101 from camp) offering small bundles for $5-6/night. **Be advised that we are slowly working on the property to eventually create more camping space. The property was beautiful. It was well maintained and had a spotless porta potty. Megan allowed us to book last minute, which was so accommodating!

It was a beautiful campsite and the port o john was very, verey clean. My only realization was, how close it was to the road. It wasn't a problem at night but very noisy during the day.

We really enjoyed our quick over night stay! Nicely located to get to other outdoorsy areas. Loved how much space there was to roam with our dog! Would definitely recommend and would love to stay again!

Great getaway nearby Florence

We loved the property and it had a lot of space for our pup to run around. We loved having a picnic table and it was a plus to have a porta potty available. The location was only 10 minutes from town and super close to nearby hikes/beaches.

Very secluded even though it was right off 101. Really enjoyed exploring and felt very safe by myself with the gate.
