Welcome to our private creekside campground on beautiful Mill Creek. A peaceful getaway surrounded by nature, open space, and the soothing sounds of flowing water. Spend warm summer days swimming in our private swimming hole, relaxing on the large sandy beach, or enjoying the spacious grassy field that’s perfect for cornhole, volleyball, and family fun. Gather around the large communal fire pit in the evening, or enjoy the privacy of your own campsite fire ring. Bring your floaties, inner tubes, swimming gear, crawdad traps, lawn chairs, lawn games, and life jackets. Make the most of everything the creek has to offer. Find a quiet spot along the water with your favorite book, listen to the birds sing, and unwind at your own pace. When night falls, bring your s’mores supplies and a telescope for an unforgettable evening of campfires and stargazing under the clear Oregon sky. Rock hounds will love exploring our creek and rock beaches, where a variety of Oregon rocks and occasional fossils can be discovered. Conveniently located just 10 minutes from Spirit Mountain Casino and about 40 minutes from Lincoln City, Depoe Bay, and Pacific City. We are a quick 25 minutes from Salem and McMinnville. Our campground offers the perfect balance of peaceful seclusion and nearby attractions. This special property has been in our family for generations and is part of a cherished legacy we’re proud to share. The Lazy Beaver – A Peaceful Off-Grid Escape Unplug and reconnect with nature at this private creekfront campsite nestled along beautiful Mill Creek. Surrounded by trees and abundant wildlife, this peaceful off-grid site offers the perfect place to relax, recharge, and enjoy the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Fall asleep to the soothing sound of whispering waters and wake to a chorus of singing birds. Spend your days exploring the creek, relaxing in nature, rock hounding for unique stones and occasional fossils, or picking fresh blackberries when they’re in season. Wildlife is a regular part of the experience here. Deer frequently wander through the property, while squirrels, doves, owls, and occasional beavers make appearances throughout the year. Elk are sometimes spotted nearby, and on rare occasions. Fresh mountain runoff flows through Mill Creek, providing a natural water source. Guests are welcome to collect and purify their own water using an appropriate filtration or purification system. Please note that creek water is untreated and must be properly filtered, boiled, or purified before drinking. Dogs are welcome and may enjoy off-leash time while under the direct supervision of their owners at all times. This campsite includes a private fire ring for cozy evenings around the campfire when seasonal burn restrictions allow. After sunset, the lack of city lights creates exceptionally dark skies, making this a fantastic destination for stargazing, meteor showers, and moonlit nights by the creek. Whether you’re gathered around the campfire, cooling off in the creek, watching wildlife, or simply listening to the gentle sounds of flowing water, this creekfront haven offers a peaceful and private camping experience. This site is secluded on our 90 acre property, very basic and perfect self sustained vehicles and RVs . There is plenty of level spots for our tent campers as well. You will be secluded and have your own privacy for your stay here at The Lazy Beaver. This is a pack it in/pack it out site on bare land. Very basic and not fancy. So bring all your neccessities and enjoy nature and simplicity at its best.

Our family had a wonderful time camping on Brandi’s land. The campsite was flat and spacious, and felt private. The facilities were clean and well-cared for. And Brandi and her family were very kind and welcoming.

Sleepy Bear Hollow

Loved the camp experience at Brandis. Easy instructions and arrival process. Property makes the camping experience feel like a private slice of paradise. Clean bathrooms, clean camp area, great swimming hole/ river access. Highly recommend this property, we’ll definitely be back! Make sure to say hi to Timber (the puppy)!

Bigfoot’s Hidout

This was an excellent campsite with great attention to detail. We really appreciated all the thoughtful touches throughout our stay. The kids had a wonderful time kayaking nearby, the restrooms were clean, and having trash bins available made everything so convenient. We would definitely love to stay here again!

The Lazy Beaver

We had an amazing time at **The Lazy Beaver**! The creek running through the campsite made it so peaceful and relaxing. We were pleasantly surprised that there were hardly any mosquitoes. The site was very private, with no other campers nearby, which made it even more enjoyable. There are plenty of great trees for hanging hammocks and several perfect spots to set up a tent. Brandi was an incredible host. We arrived during a crazy thunder and lightning storm, and she made sure we had a canopy over the picnic table to keep everything dry. She truly went above and beyond. Our dogs had a fantastic time too! One of my dogs is usually a runner, but I felt comfortable letting her explore off leash for a while because of how private and safe the campsite felt. They had so much fun that they were completely exhausted by the time we got home. Thank you, Brandi, for your wonderful hospitality. We can't wait to come back—hopefully with a little more sunshine next time!

We booked this as a last minute place to go camping. The host met us at the entrance upon our arrival and escorted us to the site. We signed a waiver and she explained the amenities. The site was large and had good shade. A table with a table cloth and chairs, a fire ring with a grate and a trash can were all provided which was very nice. The creek is directly at the campsite and you could see and hear it from everywhere, which was nice since you can slightly hear the nearby road. It looked as though the site had been recently created since bordering all sides of the site was brush, blackberry bramble and the previously cleared foliage that was pushed to the side. All in all it’s a nice creekside site but there are a few things to note. 1) since the site has been recently cleared it is not yet well manicured and there were not any flat, rock free, root free places to put a large tent 2) there are critters including bees around the river and campsite and tiny slugs that are present on all the rocks in the creek 3) the porta potty was very clean and close by but the close proximity meant you were able to smell it from the campsite

We had an amazing 2 nights’ stay at this camp. Brandi is such a wonderful host. We took a dip at the creek and saw some crawdads. The toilets are clean and there’s plenty of chairs around the camp where you can sit and just enjoy nature. There’s a walmart too about 12 minutes drive if you need some groceries.

My family and I had a wonderful time at this Hipcamp spot in Oregon. The campsite was perfectly situated right by the river, with beautiful views, peaceful sounds of the water, and easy access for skipping rocks, water games with the kids and cooling off on warm days. The host was friendly and helpful, and the site felt private yet conveniently located. We loved the natural setting—plenty of room for the kids to explore safely, a great fire pit for evenings under the stars . It was the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation for our family. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable outdoor escape in Oregon. We’ll definitely be back!

The Lazy Beaver

Brandi is so awesome and helpful and just made us feel right at home. Our dogs had the absolute best time ever, too and they had so much to explore. The view of the water is gorgeous, the water was mellow and perfect to sit in and look around at all the pretty rocks and just take in nature. I’ve been looking for a spot this ideal for years and we’ve found it! I have already told several friends and family member about how much they’d love it and it’s only been a few hours since we left. Can’t wait to return!

Bigfoot’s Hidout

Oh man what a wonderful place to stay! My family and I had such a wonderful weekend at Bigfoot Hideout! Crawdad hunting, rock hunting, kiddos swimming and playing till they couldn't stand anymore! This was our first time trying a HipCamp and we couldn't have had a better first Host! Brandi was so welcoming and friendly as was her sweet dog that my kiddos absolutely ADORED! The area was so beautiful and set up so great! My family and I have been planning when we will return since we left because it has become a favorite! A Couple of Nights

Bigfoot’s Hidout

Brandi has a wonderful property tucked away on the creek. The site is spacious, has a nice table setup and a welcoming fire pit area. Around camp there are other sites, however none were hipcamp sites. Upon arrival we filled out the disclaimer/liability forms that she has guests sign and she came down to meet us shortly after. The fire pit was fully loaded and ready to light - a very nice touch! This property itself is large and could easily accommodate the max that the site allows. Very family friendly with a swimming hole close by. We stayed 2 days and overlanded out of the back of our truck - there was a nice level spot to park and get setup. T-mobile 5G full bars. You can hear the hwy from camp and the campground itself is busy with activity during the day. At night, very peaceful, though you cannot hear the creek from camp. As the listing says, a perfect place for rockhounding - we found plenty of material to feed to our tumbler! Thanks Brandi for a great stay!
