Friendly host helped us to back our travel trailer into the driveway. As mentioned, this is someone’s “front yard” (more like gravel driveway) but has almost no light pollution and the spot is below very tall trees. The lot next door is empty/undeveloped. We didn’t need to use the host’s bathroom/shower but I can see how that would be an attractive amenity. Would be good to add some lighting to help park for those with larger trailers arriving later at night. Otherwise it felt safe, quiet, conveniently located (a few blocks from downtown sisters) and very affordable.

Ed was a great host, helped my husband back in and he provided everything we needed. He wasn’t intrusive at all as a matter of fact we never saw him again. It was really quiet and a very nice spot to spend a few nights

This is a great spot! The picture is a little deceiving, but was still quiet and a great location. Close to Sunriver and Bend, and within walking distance to the river. Ed is incredibly friendly and greeted us when we arrived. We will definitely come back!

We enjoyed our stay at Camp Pondo. Ed was a great host, he gave us a friendly welcome and let us borrow a couple tools. It's a quiet location ~15 minutes from the Village at Sunriver and the Lava Lands Visitor Center. We would stay here again.

Ed’s RV space is a hidden gem — peaceful, scenic, and incredibly relaxing. The natural surroundings made it feel like a true getaway. It is a tight fit for a 45-foot trailer, but thanks to my fiancé’s pro-level driving skills, we made it work without issue. Once parked, it was well worth it — quiet, clean, and just the right mix of privacy and comfort. Ed was a great host and made us feel welcome. We’d absolutely stay here again!

Wonderfully comfortable area for our RV close to hikes & town. Ed is a friendly host and Very accommodating to ourselves & our 2 playful labs. We were able to explore locally and enjoy the fun of nearby (30 mins) Bend.

Ed's large yard is lovely. So many trees and so peaceful and no one to share it with!
Our RV spot had 30 amp electricity, water and sewer hookups and we were positioned for a perfect view of the scenery.
Ed is so incredibly friendly and helpful and had good tips about places to visit. There is access to the Deschutes River nearby and a boat launch a short drive away which is part of the Deschutes River Trail.

We stopped here on the way to Crater Lake and the drive in was beautiful. Set up was smooth and Ed was a big help with anything we needed. Woke up in the morning to a family of deer right out the camper window. Will be staying here again if I’m ever back out this way!

It was nice and quiet and I was able to play fetch with my dog. Full hookups, but bring long hose or extra hose. I think Ed has an extra one anyway but just a note. Would stay here again to have a more quiet spacious spot.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Camp Pondo! Ed was an outstanding host. He was very responsive to messages when booking! He greeted us upon arrival to help us pick a spot and get situated. The sites are nestled on his beautiful wooded property. And he has full hook-ups on-site! It's so quiet and serene! We carried our paddleboards a short walk down the street with public access to the river to float! And the location is ideal to Sunriver and Bend. We can't recommend this spot enough! Thank you Ed for your hospitality and making our stay fantastic!
