Diane is an awesome host! Super responsive to messages. Her property is well maintained and located on a very quiet road. It was very peaceful and relaxing. Our dogs loved hiking on the trail across the street. We really enjoyed our stay!

We had a very relaxing and lovely time! We travel in a 30ft class C. We fit perfectly. We also travel with a medium size dog. There is an old logging road right across the street perfect for walks. There are areas on site that are perfect for middle of the night when puppy has to go. Yes, the owners are on site, but other than the initial greeting we didn't see them. We were relaxed. There was enough room to park our extra vehicle and set out chairs. We work remotely, so while our phones were fine, we did struggle to get strong enough service to work. But if you are not working, it is perfect. It was a wonderful spot and we will be back. Oh, Starlink worked great.

Great base camp for us to explore Mt Rainier NP. Nice, clean set up. flat spot, private, full hookup and Diane couldn’t have been nicer. Really enjoyed the trip and our stay. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Diane’s land is my dream space! Farm life in the country with nearby wooded areas to walk through. My kids and I loved visiting the goats and giving them cookies. Beautiful scenery all around, with views of mountains. Thank you so much for your kind hospitality! I would definitely camp here again.

Very beautiful spot. We found it peaceful and clean. It's well maintained, and nicely leveled. Night-time is so wonderful with the stars shining so bright. We enjoyed our weekend here.

This was our first hipcamp and WOW it was great!!! very quite. Perfect Host. great spot between Mt. Rainer and Mt Saint Helens. we have a 47' toyhauler. yes it was tight coming in and backing out of the site but once settled it was a very large site.

This would be a great site for folks using it as a base camp for exploring the area. It wasn't a great fit for us, as we had expected a site with more privacy for a chill weekend away in the woods. We might've just misinterpreted the listing, but didn't expect the hosts to be quite as close so it missed the mark for us. However, the site itself was very clean, very level, and the hookups looked all to be in working order and the hosts were friendly as they made sure to stop by and say hello. Diane also gave some helpful directions on how to get into the site which would be especially important for larger trailers. The star gazing was also great and we're pretty sure we saw some northern lights. The occasional highway noise and car speed was expected given the other reviews.

We truly enjoyed Diane’s Rv spot. It was quiet, clean, & easy to pull in for our 4th of July getaway. The spot had everything we were looking for to have a nice easy set up, electrical, water (potable and non potable water), black water hookup as well. The spot had a fire pit and patio area for a nice breakfast with the deer and birds. And we CANNOT FORGET THE GOATS & SHEEP!! They were so friendly. And fun to watch.

Great budget-friendly option for people on the go. Offers RV hook-up as promised. Would be great for adults without kids as it is located pretty close to a main road. The host is located close by and is very welcoming.

We enjoyed our time with Diane quite a bit. Fairly private camping area. Pretty dang level, great utilities and awesome that they have nice local firewood right there on site (as of this trip at least). Would recommend 100%!

Nice quiet area, full service, power, water, sewer was great. Diane was very kind, one note we went in with a 32 foot trailer and an F250 crew cab, it was a little large combo but we made it work. Thanks again Diane.

I had a workshop in the Winlock area. This was a very convenient location. Easy to get in and out of. Nicely graveled and level site with full hook up. Host was very helpful in assisting me with a little problem I had. Located in a very rural area but not far off I-5, and a good restaurant and coffee stop. Safe and quiet.

We stayed for 2 nights and had a great time. The site has ample space to maneuver. Having full hookups were great and let us watch a movie on the projector. There is a mile out-mile back trail across the road which was a nice hike amongst moss covered trees. Lots of birds to spot as well. The town of Onalaska is a short drive and great place for quick groceries or ice cream. We’ll stay here again.

We had a really fantastic stay here! So many things to compliment!
The firewood and fire ring made our evenings perfect.
The trail across the street was gorgeous and such a great forest walk for us and our pups.
The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful greeting us warmly and making sure we had so much great information for the local area and hidden gems and of course being available for any questions!
The highlight for me personally was the time we spent with the goats and sheep as they were just the sweetest ever!!!
The place we parked and hooked up was perfect, well maintained, modern and went above what you often have at stops- with sewer, water, electric and garbage cans.
The price was exceptionally reasonable and we would 10 out of 10 stay here again!
Also super cute laundry mat, small town grocery store, cool bar -named the brown shack, all close by.
Definitely stay here if in the area!

Diane was a gracious host and her site felt very secluded and peaceful while still being within a good distance of much to do. Upon our arrival she provided us with a map of local hikes and recommendations in town for food and shopping. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to return if we ever find ourselves in the area again!

The hosts were wonderful and the site was lovely, perfectly level and wooded just like it's named. They maintain a beautiful trail which made our daily dog walk delightful. We will definitely stay with them again and highly recommend this camp location.

We had a relaxing time at Diane's property. The region is very pleasant, with several state parks nearby. This includes several trails and opportunities to explore and get in touch with nature. The trail across the street from the property is very convenient. There are 2 miles of forest, a beautiful and rustic trail, as we prefer. Some reviews have already highlighted the proximity to the street, it can get a little noisy, but nothing that affects the experience. Diane was very helpful, gave us all the information we needed and was always very responsive.

We enjoyed the Wooded Campers Delight as it was private with trees all around. Plenty of space to setup & loved that a wood burning firepit was provided. Diane also has a patio table with four chairs available for use. We were able to see a couple deer one morning just across the street. Diane also provided a map with available hikes. There is a hike across the street from her RV location and you are really out in the woods, it's a bit overgrown (not Diane's fault as it's not on her property) and there are weeds that have thorns on them so I suggest hiking pants. It was a great hike and beautiful with all the trees though. We also checked out Lewis & Clark State Park which was close by. Although we weren't impressed with the camping options at this state park, they do have multiple trails to choose from. There is a convenient store/gas station nearby. As other reviews have said, you are near the road but the trees block most of it. Not a lot of traffic, however what cars do drive by seem to drive fast. If you drive straight into the site you will need to reverse out of the driveway as there is one way in and out. I was worried about reversing out onto the highway and Diane did offer to assist us however it was pretty easy. Make sure you follow her directions on where to turn because if you follow the map you might not be able to make the turn into the driveway. Diane was friendly & helpful. I would recommend if you're looking for peace & tranquility.

Great Basecamp for Mt. St. Helens!

We spent three nights at Diane's property so that we could explore Mount Saint Helens and loved our stay. While the campsite is close to Diane's home, it is separated by vegetation and feels private. The area is very well maintained and we really appreciated the hookups!
We visited both the Windy Ridge Viewpoint (on the NE side of MSH) and Coldwater Ridge Visitor Center (on the NW side of the mountain) during our stay and would recommend both if you have the time.
Windy Ridge is about 2 hours from Diane's property and the drive is beautiful. After you turn off Scenic Byway 12 onto forest service roads, you are taken on a beautiful drive through forest that has been allowed to recover naturally after the 1980 eruption. You'll need to go slow on the forest service roads--they're bumpy! But the views of Mount Rainier, Mount Adams, and Mount Hood from Windy Ridge were absolutely spectacular.
Heading to Coldwater Ridge takes you through forests that were replanted by Weyerhauser. You can make it to the National Forest visitor center in about an hour from Diane's property. But on your way, stop at Weyerhauser's Forest Learning Center on the way to Coldwater Ridge to learn more about the replanting effort. Unfortunately Mount Saint Helens was obscured by clouds on our visit, so I can't report on those views, but we still thought the drive was worth it and enjoyed comparing the replanted forest to the forest on the way to Windy Ridge.

The perfect mix and location for our plans in this sector of Washington State.
Diane’s place is around one hour from Mount Rainier and Mount Ste. Helens. As a great host, she guided us to other closer Trails and a river with cascades we could swin into.
With our prívate entrance directly to the rural Road, we even saw deers crossing it at sunrise.
What else could we wish for? Having a good laundromat at less then 10 minutes and Diane’s goats we enjoyed seeing each day, we loved it so much that we have extended our stay.

We had a relaxing stay here while exploring the area. Our hosts were friendly and accommodating, and we loved the nearby trail for beautiful hour-long walks through the woods. The site itself is gravel so RV mats are a plus if you have them. The main road is close but you're mostly hidden from view. There is only sporadic traffic but there were some people that drove by well over the speed limit and could be quite loud if you're hanging around outside. We visited in July and had plenty of shade in the morning, changing to direct sunlight in the afternoon.

Diane and her husband are the best hosts a camper could ask for. The site is private, quiet, and serene. Close to a walking trail and close to their adorable goats! As hosts they have a wealth of knowledge of the area and were more than happy to provide recommendations and information. We will ABSOLUTELY be staying here again! Truly the best hipcamp experience we've ever had and we were sad to go. Don't pass this one up!
