Sunset View Campsites, Cabin

This was our first voyage with our teardrop trailer. Scott’s camp was perfect for us — away from the city and very peaceful, but not difficult to find. We stayed at Site 3 and really enjoyed the view of the meadow and trees. Felt very safe. And the outhouse, hand sink, and solar shower were wonderful to have right there. And it’s sooo quiet at night. Thank you, Scott!

We enjoyed staying at Scott’s campsite! The place is beautiful and huge! We stayed at campsite 3, which was very private. It wasn't too far from the freeway, which was helpful since we had many plans to go places during our stay. Scott was very helpful and kind! He offered us fruits from his trees. Our daughter loved the apples! Thank you. We will visit again.

This is truly a hidden gem. The property is well maintained and Scott is an excellent host! He went above and beyond to make sure to show me around and explain all the amenities. The cabin was immaculate with little touches that made it so comfortable. I will definitely be coming back!

Beautiful spot

Lovely property for tent camping! We got lucky and had the area to ourselves for most of our trip. Our small dogs loved running through the pathways in between each site. Site #3 was the perfect size for us, private, and not too far from the bathroom. Def want to come back!

My husband and I, along with our dog, were pleased with Scott's absolutely beautiful property and are definitely going to be coming back when we travel in Washington. The little cabin was immaculate and had a comfy bed for us to rest for the night on our way down to Oregon from British Columbia. There is not a kitchen or running water inside the cabin, however, he did have a Keurig filled with water and lots of coffee pods, cream and sugar for us to enjoy in the morning. There is water outside though that you could pump. The outhouse was very clean. It was a wonderful property to bring your dog. We would 100% recommend and will return! Thank you for letting us stay 😊

We had a great time camping at Scott and Kevin's out in the field. The whole property was beautiful and well maintained. Getting to and from our camping spot was piece of cake. Plenty of space to setup all our gear and camp sites far enough apart never really saw our neighbors. Our dogs enjoyed the huge field to run around and also playing with Niko. Fresh apples and blueberries were an added bonus. Star gazing was amazing too. We'll certainly plan to visit again!

Wonderful campsite stay

I have nothing but excellent things to say about this stay! On arriving I was greeted and given water for myself and my dogs, never expected that, was shown the communal fire pit, the trash can/recycle bins, shower, bathroom, and then guided to my spot. This spot is the best for a more secluded area. You can see another campsite but it's far enough away. I came alone with my two dogs and felt very safe, especially as a women. We will definitely be back here for future stays!

I absolutely loved my time at the cozy cabin and kennel. The property is massive and beautiful. The large, inner fenced area is well maintained. There's plenty to look at and snack on as you walk around. The cabin itself is exactly what it sounds like. Scott did a great job keeping cozy and comfort in mind. There's lots of soft places to sit or lay, blankets to snuggle, and a table to work at. A ceiling fan and some strategy do a surprisingly good job of keeping the cabin cool. The kennels have entrances directly to the cabin, which is sooo convenient! The real shine from this gem of a site comes from the host. Scott went out of his way to make me feel welcome and comfortable here. He offered everything from privacy and distance to dinner and drinks. It's just cool to come to a site and be able to vibe with authentic, good people.

The campsite was really nice and conveniently located near the highway, so ideal for a stop on road trips. Scott was super friendly and helpful, even bringing us coffee in the morning after we’d had a rather wet night! Would definitely recommend!

Weekend camping with our pup!

We loved camping at Scott & Kevin’s!! This was our first Hipcamp experience, and it was incredible. The property was well maintained, yet still kept natural. Check in was easy and smooth— Scott met us outside & gave us a tour of the property. The property contains 3 camping sites and one cabin. There is a well kept outhouse & newly built outdoor solar shower next to the cabin, only a short walk from all the camp sites. There is also a community fire pit, stocked with tons of wood! We originally booked Site 2, which upon arrival was a fantastic site but was pretty sunny and we neglected to bring any shade, so Scott was kind enough to let us switch to Site 3 which was perfect for us and our pup. We had the whole back part of the property “to ourselves” (its open to all campers, but we were lucky enough to be the only ones camping all weekend) so our pup was able to roam freely. I can’t say enough good things about the property, but also need to mention the warmth and kindness that the hosts exude. Definitely a big reason why this trip felt so great! A true treasure on Hipcamp!! Thank you so much Scott, Kevin & Nico, we will ABSOLUTELY be back! ❤️🐾🏕️

One of the best Hipcamps we have stayed at. The property is clean and peaceful with beautiful trails mowed throughout. Site 3 is tucked away and offers a fair amount of privacy. It is large with multiple spaces to put a tent including shady spots. We woke up to birds singing. Absolutely magical!

Great place to stay with awesome hosts that will fight bees for you. I was biking the STP and stopped here to camp with my wife and baby. Scott was very friendly, accommodating, and thoughtful. Would recommend staying here 10/10.

We camped in a sweet field of daisies and trees after being greeted by the coolest host ever -- Scott! His campsites were private, peaceful, and meticulous. As a host, Scott goes above and beyond. He communicated promptly and frequently, and made sure we had everything we needed. We would love to come back again sometime! I highly recommend!

Scott was an excellent host! He’s very friendly and will go out of his way to make you feel at home. The site my partner and I stayed at on his property was quiet and peaceful, and it was on level ground, which worked for our car camping trip. The outhouse on the property is very clean and well maintained and stocked with the necessities. We enjoyed our car camping experience on Scott’s property. I would absolutely recommend this for a nice overnight stay. There is also a cabin for rent if you choose and there are other sites for tents, RVs, etc. Great host, and great campsites!

Not only is Scott incredibly sweet but he’s just a great host. This place is very dreamy! The landscape is just stunning. It was peaceful , clean and very private. We only spent one night but, we will for sure be back for a longer stay.

Cozy little cabin

The hosts were so welcoming and nice. The cabin was decorated so cozy, cute and very clean. The out house was so so clean. Our dog bear had so much fun playing with their little Nico and running around the property. We loved the dog kennel attached so our dog could lay in the sun. Will definitely be back!!

I loved staying here, the cabin was super cozy for me and my puppy. The hosts were the most generous and welcoming people I’ve met through hipcamp, their dog Nico and mine played nonstop the whole time I was there, and having the peace of mind that the whole spot was fenced in made this a super relaxing experience.

Thank you for a peaceful experience. As we were setting up a deer jumped right through the site. Owls were very active in the morning. Scott was a very welcoming host and went out of the way to check in and make sure we were all good and warm with the storm that came through. Lots of room to roam around and explore the property. We'll be back!

Scott was very nice and greeted me when I arrived. His property is beautiful and his dog Niko is adorable! The campsite was nice, remote, and in an open grassy area with few small trees. It was a bit windy and there were some foraging bees. Overall it was a nice campsite and I would stay again.

I always love camping here! Scott takes the prize for most friendly host. He's improved on the campsite since we've last been there. There's now a picnic table and more lighting along the paths. The outhouse was clean and fresh smelling, and there was little to no noise.

This was such an awesome place to stay! Scott not only was an excellent host but also a dog lover, witty, funny, respectful and really an all around real and wonderful person. The property has a perfect spot for the night to camp and has a fenced off area that the dogs can run around and play. I would suggest this to anyone passing through. Thank You Scott!
