This includes but is not limited to the occasional bull snake, rattle snake, badger, black bear, mule deer, whitetail deer, moose, coyote, wolf, mountain lion, bobcat, as well as all kinds of birds including blue birds, hawks, owls, turkey, chukar, ravens, Hungarian partridge, quail, and forest grouse. Exquisitely beautiful area formed by melting glaciers forming the "Alta Coulee". The campground is situated at the South end of Alta Lake, opened in 1946 and operated by my Grandparents until 1980, when my father decided to continue operations adding Outfitting and Guide services into the Pasayten and Sawtooth Wilderness areas. Covid put a halt on business for a few years, but we are back and making some gradual upgrades and changes to offer camping and horseback riding experiences again! The lake is 220 acres known to Anglers near and far. Plenty of room for the sunseekers wanting to play in the water on paddle boards, kayaks, jet skis, and water skiing. This place is awesome. Very highly recommend for anyone looking for a winter spot that can range Stevens Pass easily. It’s very affordable and right next to a really awesome bar/restaurant. The owner, Vito, is a super nice guy and very accommodating.

We loved staying at the vineyard! Kim was a wonderful host and everything was as stated in the posting (and I have never seen a cleaner portapottie!). We especially enjoyed the covered patio with the propane fire pit - it was a great place to hang out and look at the lights across the valley and even the snowmaking up at Mission Ridge. 10/10 and we’ll definitely be staying here again.

We had a great visit on Renato’s land. It was so beautiful and we had the place to ourselves! We did a wine tasting with Renato and his wine is delicious! It was wonderful hearing the story of his winery and learn about his love for wine making. Our dogs had so much fun playing fetch on our site. The spots are huge with plenty of room for pets and kids to run around and explore! Beautiful views of the valley to wake up to. Thank you for hosting us Renato!

This is a lovely spot with the view of the canyons and vineyard. We chose site 4 as it was more remote than the sites with electrical that are closer to the road. So we had no services but the ports potty was clean and convenient. You really feel like you are in the middle of nowhere in cool off the grid way yet its not hard to get to and Renee was so kind with a wine tasting and telling us about his organic wines. Very fun!

We arrived and the host welcomed us. Gave us a great stop to camp. He invited us into the brewery to relax. He has a great property. The little town of Plain is very cute and they were friendly. There’s a cafe, hardware store, resort Winery bike shop and of course the Plain Brewery. I hope you enjoy your stay. E-bike friendly.

This spot was nice, flat ground for leveling trailer.
Very well kept and clean. You can tell the place is loved.
Super spacious and clean bathrooms and showers.
Do have to pay for shower, so bring quarters!
The squirrel tree restaurant was nice with a coffee shop as well.
Bar was off the hook with live music on Saturday night (stopped music by 930 to not annoy campers.)

Lovely spot to camp. Great view and with it being late September was able to enjoy the lovely smells coming from the Orchard. We had a slightly anxious dog who does not do well with other people or animals so it was a perfect spot for her to enjoy her first camping trip.
A small picnic table is provided and we brought an extra 6 foot table which helped with placing all our food items and portable grill.
Convenient spot for local wineries and to access Lake Chelan. Hope to return soon.

The location and grounds were really great and private. Only suggestion would be to have wifi available since there is no cell service. If you are looking for completely off grid, then this is the place!

Site 81 was plain dirt. It felt filthy. We paid, checked in,took a look at our site and drove away. Owners take no pride in this campground. I would expect some grass or rocks or something but this spot was dumpy
